26th Mar 2026 (11 weeks ago)I’m extremely upset with this company. One of their leafleters forcibly opened my closed electric gate—at 7:30 in the morning—to get to my front door. I’m a mother home alone with two babies, and that gate is there for our security and privacy. I felt violated and unsafe. I emailed the company to complain and never even received a reply. Unprofessional and unacceptable.
25th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)Have used Ascend for 4 years to manage my flat in Liverpool. During the pandemic they found poor tenants with minimal vetting, carried out no inspections (even after restrictions were lifted). After I made my own inspection I had to alert them to the problems they were missing. When the tenant left my place in an aweful state, their own agent admitted this was terrible. Finally, I received demands from debt collectors for unpaid council tax bills from a void period that the agent never passedon to me. Ascend claim they never received the 3 reminders from the council and refused to take any liability for their mismanagement. I lost £600 in fees and a significant knock to my own credit rating. A large agency that likes to charge management fees but doesn't actually manage. Stay clear - I'm sure there are better options out there!

13th May 2026 (4 weeks ago)Tried buying a house and had the worst experience ever. Leasehold listed as freehold. Firstly the didn’t present the offer to buyer u til chased. Paul who was handling the deal was away most of the time. Property was moved to Sold STC & then back on market before the survey report come back. Complete silence for over a month after asking for negotiations. The whole process was stressful and very frustrating. Seller solicitors to hold initial contract pack. I would stay away and look elsewhere.
