4th Dec 2024 (7 weeks ago)Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Gascoigne Whaley Bridge. Lorraine and Emma were brilliant when selling our house and purchasing our next one. They kept in touch constantly and were very attentive and couldn’t have done more to help us during the process.

Jemima is our agent and she is truly outstanding!!! From initially listening so attentively to what we wanted, our time and budget restraints she went over and beyond and found us a beautiful property!! She demonstrates without a doubt that she truly wants to help and clearly cares about her clients!! Nothing is too much trouble, communication is superb and we really do feel we are in a “safe pair of hands” given how stressful the process can be!!! So far everything has been seamless and we look forward to the completion of our property and can confidently say, that Jemima will no doubt continue to be a huge support!!

28th Apr 2024 (8 mo. ago)I Chose Jon Mellor Estate Agents because of their reputation in the Town - and they win awards year after year! - I can see why! - What a great team ! - They have just sold a house in Buxton for me - things were not very straightforward for various reasons, but they managed the process with great skill throughout. The advice provided before and during the sale was "Spot On" - They kept me informed at every stage and they could not have been more helpful or supportive. Just the right balance of friendly yet professional advice - I would recommend them to anyone - A*****

26th Jun 2023 (1 year ago)Avoid at all costs. This estate agent are relying on reputation to get away with putting minimum effort into the promotion and sale of properties. When you sign up with them you are constantly pestered with their "partners" trying to sell conveyancing and other services despite the fact that they are not doing anything to try and promote the property. Topping that off they will trap you in an overly long contract which is nearly double the length of any other local estate agent.- 1st Feb 2024 (11 mo. ago)The staff are all polite and professional They attend to their tasks efficiently They are responsive and reply to queries quickly and efficiently

18th Mar 2024 (10 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
7th Jan 2025 (13 days ago)Lisa from Woodall coordinated all the chain which at some point had 10 buyers in. We actually purchased our property through Woodhall so she wasn’t even our agent. I would recommend Woodhall for the service and professional way they dealt with our purchase.
