8th May 2026 (14 days ago)I would advise landlords to be very cautious when dealing with this company and not to trust advertisements promising 12 months’ rent paid in advance. They rented my property to an agency that placed three different families in the house. I was charged around £4,500 per year in management fees, yet they did not inspect the property even once during the year. When the tenants left, the property was in a very poor condition, and I had to spend around £10,000 on repairs and refurbishment. After this, the company also sent me an invoice for approximately £11,000, claiming it was for unpaid rent owed by their tenants. My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing.
8th Feb 2026 (15 weeks ago)I felt the agent had a lack of knowledge and understanding of our local area, and was too focused on metrics rather than seeing the advantages of our particular property over some of the other properties around us. I felt there was too much pressure being put on us to drop our asking price after only a few weeks in.

21st May 2026 (1 day ago)We move house tomorrow, as I write this. My wife and I are downsizing, which is a challenge, and Robert Leech by chance were also acting for the developer of our new house which has proved very helpful. Emma West "got" our slightly quirky house, (part barn), marketed it very effectively and negotiated a good price on our behalf. There was a slow start, mostly because of the November '25 Budget, but after Christmas viewings took off and quickly turned into offers. We were only involved in one show-around All the Robert Leech staff at Reigate, Oxted and Lingfield held our hands very effectively through the viewings, the offers and finally the sale. Since then Wendy has managed the progression of the transactions brilliantly. We would recommend them to anyone thinking about selling a property. They know their business very well and they are nice people to deal with.

21st Apr 2026 (4 weeks ago)BUYERS BEWARE: Bought a house through Greenaway. Worst experience we've had with estate agents. Ross was very unpleasant, quite rude and we're glad we spoke directly to the sellers in the end. Ross even lied to us, saying that there is plumbing already installed for a dishwasher when in fact there is not anything in place for a dishwasher at all Edit: Claiming to not see any purchase made by me is another example of Greenaway lying, this time in an attempt to cover misconduct of their employees. It would seem to me that lying is a common trait at Greenaway.

He was enthusiastic and confident that he could find the right buyers for my house and had a string of potential viewers lined up immediately. Jay gave honest feedback from each viewing and then gave me as much information as he possibly could on interested parties and guided me through accepting an offer. Jays communication was faultless, he called me frequently to update and liaised with my solicitor and my onward purchase's agent to keep things moving . Special mention to Kirsty as well who did a lot of the viewings for me and was calm and professional throughout the process, talking me through the paperwork side of things and calming me down a couple of times when I was flapping. Have recommended Connells Copthorne to friends and neighbours
