21st May 2026 (11 weeks ago)I had three valuations on my property and Gail from Stephenson Browne was by far the most professional valuer that I met. Gail also completely understood and was respectful of my property. In addition Gail also got the valuation spot on. I used Get Agent to narrow down my options regarding selecting an agent and I am so glad I did.

24th Jul 2026 (11 days ago)I’m basing this review solely on the service provided from Natalie Tunnicliffe. I was unfortunately unsuccessful in renting a house by a different estate agent at the Hanley branch and was advised by that particular agent that I should receive my holding deposit back as it was through no fault of my own. I tried to email 2 days ago for this to be refunded but had no response, eventually got through to Natalie and she had this resolved within a few hours and explained that the prior estate agent advised that I wasn’t getting the deposit back however Natalie went above and beyond and enabled me to get this back. She kept me updated throughout too, amazing service.

Marketing was superb attracting over 26 viewings and many offers.We got feeling that they were a close team from Ian's first visit through each team member to exchange. The property was unusual insofar that it had been in the family for over 100 years and was yet to be on the land registry. It was explained clearly to potential buyers by the team, presented no issues and resulted in quick offers. Storeys are not cheap but showed they can set the value correctly, market, sell quickly and keep on top of conveyancing surpassing poor service seen from a competitor. Dont just go for low fees its service that matters.

They also provided invaluable support with my onward purchase, ensuring everything progressed as smoothly as possible.<br><br>Tom, who carried out the valuation and facilitated a viewing on a prospective property, was incredibly professional while remaining approachable and down to earth. Lisa was exceptional throughout the sale process, expertly handling several difficult situations and always keeping me informed. Her commitment was outstanding even while on annual leave, she took the time to contact me to check everything was going well. That level of care and dedication went far beyond what I ever expected.<br><br>When Lisa was away, Fran stepped in and was absolutely fantastic. The handover was seamless, and I always felt I was in safe hands. It really shows what a great team Wheatcroft & Lloyd have built.<br><br>I genuinely don’t think they could have done anything better. Thank you to everyone involved for making the process as smooth as possible. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Wheatcroft & Lloyd again in the future and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property.
