We cannot praise Steve, Debbie and the team at Yourmove in Oswestry highly enough. Through the emotional ups and downs that we experienced they remained professional, supportive and understanding. Steve and Debbie, who handled our sale and guided us through our purchase were brilliant and nothing was considered too much trouble. Having said that, each and every member of the team knew our case and was able to answer our questions and soothe our worries. Although we hope to never have to move again now that we have found our dream home, if we ever find ourselves having to we would not hesitate to ask for their support and expertise again.
Staff left my freezer open during a viewing costing me £40 of food which had defrosted and had to be thrown away, still waiting for phone call about compensation and that was 5 months ago. Auction company they suggested were incompetent and cost £250, solicitors would have done it for free. Hope their cut was worth it. Poor communication.
Edit: you said you were going to pay it and never did. Yes auction was the best option for the property but recommending medway law to handle that was not, they are a dreadful company and our actually solicitors would have dove it for free so your recommendation actually ended up cost us £260 more than it should.
Just ended a rental and found Paula very prompt and professional throughout my tenancy. Would certainly use again
Very poor. Very slow . Do little to support or even keep you informed. Like to wield power over tenants . And all said and done not even one star is earned . Be warned .... Go elsewhere as their sloppy and hierarchy of snobbery will not do you any favors
Recently bought and sold a house with MMP Oswestry. Really pleased with the service along with the help and advice they gave.
Contacted via phone this morning. To speak to someone about letting a property. The woman on the end of the phone was damn right rude. Immediately shot me down as soon as I said it was 2 couples, didnt listen to the fact that we have children. She immediately cut me off mid sentence and informed me that this was a family property not a property share. A family home is exactly what we wanted as we are all professionals, looking for somewhere to share and enjoy family times together. Would not deal with this branch ever again. Unless the individual in question was delt with appropriately. I thought people skills and listening would be a requirement of this sort of job but obviously being rude and ignorant is what Morris Marshall and Poole employ!!
Stella and I would like to say a big thank you to the Holland & Broadbridge team for their excellent service, support and cooperation. We would highly recommend Holland & Broadbridge - they have been efficient, reliable, very helpful, reassuring and went above and beyond throughout the buying process. Many thanks once again.
Absolutely shocking service. Gillian is the epethany of the worst estate agent representative I’ve ever encountered I can not put into words my disgust at how little this person cares about her clients. Avoid like the plague !!!!!
Received excellent service when buying my house. The staff are very helpful, informative and friendly at MMP Welshpool particularly Bryan Jarman.
Me and my family rented Tegfan, Llangadfan, SY21 0PR from Norman Lloyd from Mr Toby Assinger. Upon moving into the property we noticed the master bedroom window and the built-in wardrobes were covered in Stachybotrys(black mould), the paint work was patchy and shoddy with a number of scuff marks, there was dust in nearly every room and the garage fascia had heavy moss growth. We complained to the landlord and Norman Lloyd to which they responded that we should take photos of the condition of the property which we did and then cleaned the property throughout to a liveable standard. 5 Weeks later the landlord asked to inspect the property we obliged even though this would seem too soon into the tenancy especially given the condition it was let in. He apologised for the condition the property was let and no concerns were raised. Imagine our surprise when only three weeks later we receive a letter from Norman Lloyd claiming the landlord was wishing to sell the property and would need to enter to take photos of every room. Why you would want a tenants belonging inside the property whilst you do this i do not know, also why the landlord felt the need to sell the property after letting it for 8 Weeks is questionable. We were also told in no uncertain terms whilst the landlord couldn't serve us our Section 21 notice we were more than welcome to find a new property. I have three children one of which suffers with cerebral palsy, he is due to have a very expensive life changing operation this is one of the main reasons we chose a bungalow. It left me and my family very distressed and out of pocket having to find a new home in such a short period of time. Norman Lloyd have merged with MMP and once we had decided we have to find a new home and moved out it was MMP's turn to attempt to extort my family. They claimed the house required re-painting at a cost of £225 to us and cleaning to the cost of £140 to us. We obviously did not accept these deductions to our deposit and i kindly pointed out that not only was the house in an unfit state when it was let, no inventory was signed by ourselves and the landlord or neither agent had the legal documentation required to determine what condition the house was in when we let it. Below are pictures of the property when we let and two of the cleanliness when we left. The house is currently being let which was agreed almost immediately after we left, even though the property was apparently being sold. There is nothing in law to stop agents and landlords doing this, in my opinion there should be. Ultimately i feel me and my family were discriminated against by the Landlord Mr Toby Assinger, Norman Lloyd and Morris Marshall Poole and i felt this review was necessary to help protect other young families like mine.
