24th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)After 4 years of no problems our landlord chose to switch to Darlows because they were offering “a better service for landlords”... not only did this turn out to be the exact opposite for our landlord but our family of 4 (2 adults + 2 children) had to suffer over and over before we eventually had enough and were forced to find another property to keep our family safe & warm. The staff were buck passers who never dealt with anything that involved effort, as a result our landlord paid thousands for a new boiler and repairs that were unnecessary and could have been avoided if action was taken as it should have been (boiler leaked for 3 days and brought a ceiling down - we could not stop the leak and no one knew where a stop tap was!!) this is just 1 example I can assure you there are many more just as bad, our landlord is taking further action and ultimately had to sell the property. We cannot emphasise enough that as a tenant or landlord you are taking a big risk by using Darlows! I am sure more will surface in time. You have been warned.

We were always kept informed of appointments, active in sending the feedback and offers through , and there was always good communication between all members of the staff and ourselves. The staff went above and beyond to make the selling process as smooth as possible for us as the clients. I highly recommend them.
10th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)We’ve let a number of our properties, both locally (and throughout south Wales) via Matthew and his team at First 4 Rentals, for many years, and constantly received a professional, capable and friendly service. In over 25 years of dealing with various agents throughout Wales, First 4 Rentals is the only one I’ve ever been impressed with enough to write a public review. Their level of service, attention to detail, prompt communication and helpfulness is something that sets them apart from lesser agents. Over the years, Matthew has helped sort out everything that a remote landlord will encounter, and all with satisfactory outcomes, for both us, and the tenants. (We were always relived to know we had found a letting agent who supported and facilitated our goal of being a decent and fair landlord, always ensuring all aspects of the letting process were compliant, safe and secure for both parties) Additionally, their level of personal attention is exemplary. By way of example; we requested a swift turnaround on a vacant property in Cardiff city centre at then end of last week - today at 8am a comprehensive video inspection report arrived in my inbox! Having engaged and supported us with both sales and lettings, Matthew consistently delivers a first class service, and I have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone needing a trusted partner in what, for many of us, can be a challenging arena.

I dealt mainly with Chloe and she was brilliant at communicating throughout the whole process, always returning calls or emails promptly and giving regularupdates. She actually saved me a big delay, due to my surveyors, by noticing they hadn't been in touch with the vendor after they told we they would be. Overall I would highly recommend.

This is the second time I’ve been helped by Emma and she has once again be excellent. Nothing is ever too much for her, she helps with every stage of the journey and has made a daunting, difficult time that much easier. She’s a credit to Peter Alan

My housemate and I have just moved into our first house after uni and the team at Allen and Harris have provided a most excellent service. They found the perfect property based on the parameters we gave and the whole process after that point was so smooth thanks to all of their help. They have answered every query, concern and question we have a had in a timely and holistic manner. All of this plus service with a smile , I am extremely greatful to all the team and truly could not give higher praise or reccomendation.
16th Aug 2024 (26 days ago)Really good experience, from viewing to purchase. Viewing was conducted in a really unobtrusive, helpful and non-pushy way. All communication was very friendly, polite and prompt. Whole process was really straight forward and entire sale went through within about twelve weeks, despite some minor delays. Everyone we dealt with was great, and Matt was particularly good. Thank you so much, all, we are delighted with our new house ????

28th Aug 2024 (14 days ago)Watkins Estate Agents are very helpful, very accommodating and were always willing to answer any questions my partner and I had about our prospective house purchase. Despite eventually deciding not to proceed with the purchase, I would not hesitate to contact and work with Watkins again should a suitable house come up for sale. Personable, efficient and accommodating. Can't ask for anything more than that. Thank you.
10th Sep 2024 (1 day ago)First part of viewing and putting an offer in was great. But after that point it was like anothrr estate agents an help, support and replys to messages were slow and painful. Also interesting to know other people who purchased using you got a welcome parcel but we just got a call telling us the keys were in the garage and then a property that was in a discussing state and it took two days to get it to a state to be lived in. Things were left in cupboards - you guys were not interested and just washed your hands of us and the property and said go talk to your solicitor.

31st Jul 2024 (6 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

Wonderfully warm with the perfect essence of a Lady Agent from Wales. A breath of fresh air from the desk/computer based Agent dare I say? Book her! Seriously Meant! Janthompsonoriginals.

15th Aug 2024 (27 days ago)Wayne was excellent though out. Very helpful, arranged second and third viewings with no fuss. Wayne was very knowledgeable about all properties he showed us and gave us honest thoughts about each one. The solicitors and mortgage advisor Wayne recommended we’re also very helpful and lead to a quick and stress free sale. Would definitely recommend Wayne as first time buyers he helped us every step of the way.

23rd Aug 2024 (19 days ago)I have contacted fine and country 4 times to try and arrange a viewing on a property that we are interested in in Wenalt road rhiwbina Cardiff and they don’t get back to you. The seller is no doubt paying a lot of money to sell the property and are getting a really poor service. How many other people have tried to view and the seller lost potential sales. Very poor service.
