25th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)It has been a sad time losing a partner of many years so this was a big decision. Gowland and white have been respectful and courteous throughout. This has made this process easier and less stressful than it could potentially be.
9th Apr 2026 (23 weeks ago)I was impressed with the initial meeting with Colleen who valued the property. She was knowledgeable,punctual ,a great communicator and efficient. I was extremely happy with Clare who throughout the process was always efficient ,friendly,supportive and conscientious .She replied to and resolved any queries promptly.The communication about viewings was very good and we were reminded about viewings the day before. I was very disappointed by the Sales Progressor who was difficult to speak to ,worked short hours and failed to contact us promptly causing difficulty and additional stress.

18th Aug 2026 (27 days ago)Thank you to Peter,his wife and all the excellent staff at the Estate Agency in Kirkbymoorside and Pickering.They steered us through a stressful house sale with advice,guidance and professionalism.All house viewings were undertaken by senior staff who knew both us and the house giving a personal touch to the sale, ensuring minimal anxiety on our part.Throughout the process we were supported and kept up to date resulting in a successful outcome.
19th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)After five long months of stress, we finally moved out of our property on January 27th 2025.We had no help from Neil Wright whatsoever.We did all the negotiations with our buyer ourselves.Feedback on initial viewings was poor or none existent.Requests for telephone calls from them, were ignored, even after calling into the office.Neither our Solicitor or ourselves heard anything from them until two days before completion, which we had arranged ourselves.Extremely poor service and I am sorry to have to say, we would not recommend this estate agent.

20th Nov 2025 (9 mo. ago)After being with James pye for 1 and half years and now leaving the property I thought it would be an easy process. Paul was rude when doing the check out process apparently he was too poorly to deal with this and made me feel very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend as I’m not the only tenant that has said this about Paul he’s very hot and cold. They will do anything to not give you your bond back.

11th Sep 2022 (4 years ago)Stephensons hosted all the viewings for our house sale which was very helpful as we could not be there to host any potential buyers. I'd say that Stephensons did work hard to sell the house.

From the very beginning, everyone took the time to explain the process clearly, answer any questions I had, and make me feel completely at ease. The entire team was highly professional, knowledgeable, and efficient, yet always approachable and genuinely friendly. Selling a home can often be a stressful experience, but they made the whole process smooth and straightforward. Communication was excellent throughout, and I always felt well informed and supported at every stage. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and their commitment to providing outstanding customer service really stood out. I am extremely pleased with the experience and would certainly recommend them to anyone considering selling their home. Their combination of professionalism, expertise, and personal service made all the difference, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.
