5th Oct 2020 (5 years ago)If you are renting in Bishop Auckland, go elsewhere. Rude, unprofessional and not interested at all. They allowed a vulnerable tenant to live in a complete and utter pigsty with no roof, wall to wall mould, with bags of human waste and needles filling the yard and have consistently negated their legal obligations. Thankfully, the tenant has since moved out, these clowns won't be laughing when this gets to court. I cannot recommend this shambles of a company to anyone. Avoid at all costs.- This agent doesn't have any reviews

Moving home is stressful at the best of times, but with everything else life has thrown at me over the past few months, it has been an incredibly emotional and challenging experience. 18th May 2023 (3 years ago)Huge thank you to Jeanette snd Mary who helped with the purchase of our new home. It was quite stressful for us at times and we had a few (a lot!) bumps in the road. We were very dependent on the team especially towards the end of the buying process for many reasons. I truly believe without their help on an almost daily basis we would still be waiting for the sale to have been finalised. We are now 4 weeks in our new home and are so happy. The stress long forgotten. The team are Very professional, very “on it” and also want to do the best for the buyer. Thank you all.

Lorraine mailed me or called me with updates, facilitated comms with the seller, I felt like I was aware of everything going on. Would use them again and thank you MR!!

Right from the very courteous and professional first contact, through to the final stages, I could not fault them in the slightest. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and gave excellent advice. Given all the work they did, I regard their fee as very reasonable. Going with them as my agent was the best decision I could possibly have made.

1st Sep 2026 (13 days ago)When I requested information regarding about some rental properties it kept coming back with an error. The requests must have sent and I had a patronising email back saying ‘thank you for your numerous enquiries’. I let that slide by and tried to get a viewing, which took ages for a response. I was working away on the days they requested, I asked for any other dates, received zero response. I emailed a week after asking again for alternative dates with zero response. It was like I was pestering them to view a house. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this letting agents.

14th Aug 2026 (4 weeks ago)We lived in a 3 bedroom house in Durham for over 3 years and Evenmore is one of the most incompetent and unprofessional companies I have ever encountered. I would recommend avoiding them as a letting company at all costs. We had multiple times things break and not only did they fail to communicate timeframes or expectations but left us in limbo without a washer or an oven for multiple weeks. They never told us the exact expectations for property inspections, but we thought we were doing fine when for two years our reviews never flagged any issues. Midway through our tenancy they changed who inspected the property and said we were failing to comply with the terms of the lease. They attempted to blame us even though these expectations were never communicated to us and our past inspections were fine. They even made passive aggressive comments to my wife about the house looking “disgusting” and “smelly.” We have two toddlers so that was the tommie tippie. This was a part of a pattern of making insensitive and unprofessional comments about us and lacked any care for us as the tenant. We got locked out of our kitchen and no one picked up their emergency line and so we had to wait for a day to get in our kitchen. Moreover, when we were leaving they scheduled appointments without our knowing and entered the home with prospective tenants while my wife was in the shower and our son was sleeping in his room. They blamed it on a technical error. They again, took no accountability for their own mistakes and unprofessionalism. When we exited the property we payed 400 in expert cleaners to come and clean the whole property. They took all of our deposit back saying they had to spend hundreds in house cleaning. They are only concerned to cover up their own failures to communicate and care for the tenant. If I was a landlord and knew how poorly they communicated with their tenants I would have serious reservations about using them to manage my property. Expats beware.

20th Jun 2026 (12 weeks ago)So glad we chose Katrina as our agent. Selling a property can be very stressful but right from the start the enthusiasm and service was beyond. Always available, I don't know how she has any time to herself. Great advice and communication between ourselves and the buyer got things done smoothly. Dan was also fully up to speed on the rare occasion when Katrina couldn't pick up. These guys really put the effort into selling your house.
