2nd Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)Eight weeks into the buying process and days from finalising the mortgage application, I was gazumped by another buyer. Throughout this time this agency continued to run viewings on the property when I had been told my offer had been accepted it was off the market. I spend significant time and money moving to get the purchase finalised but the seller/ estate agents decide to gazump me. Very unprofessional service and I would definitely avoid them if you can and go somewhere that sticks to agreed purchase deals.

Her personal service was brilliant, and it really felt like our sale mattered to her. She worked for us as the sellers every step of the way.<br>Shelly valued our home £40k higher than the other agents we spoke to, and her fee was considerably lower than the 1.25% quoted elsewhere. Better price, lower fee, and a far better experience. We'd recommend her without hesitation."

Staff member Elby has been extremely professional and had guided us every step of the way from initial valuation to completion.<br>Nothing was too much for Elby. She replied immediately to every query, message and text - even out of hours.<br>We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Dobson’s and especially Elby who was our main contact.
18th May 2023 (3 years ago)Huge thank you to Jeanette snd Mary who helped with the purchase of our new home. It was quite stressful for us at times and we had a few (a lot!) bumps in the road. We were very dependent on the team especially towards the end of the buying process for many reasons. I truly believe without their help on an almost daily basis we would still be waiting for the sale to have been finalised. We are now 4 weeks in our new home and are so happy. The stress long forgotten. The team are Very professional, very “on it” and also want to do the best for the buyer. Thank you all.

It was useful to be able to pop into the shop locally , as by phone there were often other people from other branches answering! The team were compassionate and supportive in complex circumstances and patient when it all took a long time from initial enquiry to completion.

Right from the very courteous and professional first contact, through to the final stages, I could not fault them in the slightest. They were efficient, knowledgeable, and gave excellent advice. Given all the work they did, I regard their fee as very reasonable. Going with them as my agent was the best decision I could possibly have made.

Always available, I don't know how she has any time to herself. Great advice and communication between ourselves and the buyer got things done smoothly. Dan was also fully up to speed on the rare occasion when Katrina couldn't pick up. These guys really put the effort into selling your house.
