26th Jan 2026 (20 weeks ago)Excellent service from start to finish. Good advice re asking price to set, honest appraisal of prospective buyers. Lots of support during the preparation for marketing, leveraging their trade contacts to get things done quickly. Clear advice of options during the price and subsequent negotiations. Staff always friendly, very prompt responses to queries, good handover between staff so that people always knew what they were talking about. A really great experience.
9th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)I have been dealing with Val now for a little while as a person searching in the local area. Always found the team and Val in particular to be first class. Very knowledgeable and professional and one of the best around in my opinion. Respond time lightening quick and always makes you feel at ease with a very friendly manner 10/10 keep up the brilliant work.

18th May 2026 (26 days ago)Would be a zero if possible , this has got to be the rudest man I’ve ever spoken to . Rang to enquire if a property that they were advertising for rent was still available and he was obnoxious and unhelpful from the start . Luckily found out at this early stage and now know not to go anywhere near them for any future business . I feel sorry for anyone who has signed them up to sell or lease their homes as they speak to potential tenants and buyers very badly . Their horrendous reviews speak volumes . Avoid at all costs
29th May 2026 (15 days ago)Awful experience from day one. Lesley came to me with a tenant who moved in October 25. First off they allowed a tenant to move in with no months rent up front - never agreed with myself. 7 months later I am still a month behind on unpaid rent even though I have emailed Lesley directly every month chasing. Peter Clark received the keys back to the property on 15/05 and I’m still yet to receive the months rent I’m owed. To add to this there wasn’t a single month where the rent was paid on the date stated on the agreement and instead they allowed the tenant to pay them with cash each month.

29th May 2026 (15 days ago)Rook Matthews Sayer (Jesmond) have managed my property for the last 17 years, including around 15 years as a rental property and the last 2 years while it was on the market for sale. Throughout the rental period they were generally reliable and easy to deal with. Whenever maintenance issues arose, they would contact me promptly and arrange local contractors to carry out the work at reasonable cost. Over a long period of ownership, there were no major problems and I felt the property was looked after well. During the sales process there were a few challenges, including a complicated issue involving a neighbouring property which resulted in the power being disconnected to the building. Although this took some time to resolve, RMS were able to provide the information I needed and the sale was ultimately completed successfully. Communication was mainly via email rather than phone calls, but I found the team responsive and helpful whenever I needed assistance. Managing a property from a distance can be difficult, so I appreciated having an agent who could deal with issues on my behalf over many years. Overall, I would like to thank the team at RMS Jesmond for their support over the last 17 years and wish them all the best for the future.

16th May 2023 (3 years ago)I was impressed with the updates I had and the choices I was given. Because the property had a number of enquiries an open house was organised which I thought was an excellent idea.

The whole process of selling our property was managed professionally and courteously and the many set backs suffered (through no fault of themselves) were dealt with efficiently and considerately. They are all very professional and personable and were prepared to "go the extra mile' to help make the experience as painless as possible. We have no hesitation in recommending this firm.

1st Feb 2020 (6 years ago)We found Your Move - Houghton-le-Spring to be a very professional and efficient estate agency. From first contact, the valuation, photography, brochure preparation, first viewing and receipt of an offer for full asking price took less than 3 weeks. Sales Manager Rachel Smiles was especially helpful in giving advice on content of the sales brochure and her friendly staff in arranging the 2 viewings by first interested party. We would highly recommend this agency to value and sell your property quickly at its true market value.
