From my initial contact, they have relentlessly kept great communication in what is a difficult market, to find our "forever house". Tom and Edward's experience is second to none. If we are ever in the market for another house (hopefully not, as my wife has promised), I would have no hesitation in calling Savills......10/10
8th Dec 2024 (20 weeks ago)We had a mixed experience with Preston Baker. We chose them for their reviews online and at first contact with the Doncaster office they were quick to reply and tried moving our sale along promptly. Then our agent suddenly stopped communicating and when we tried contacting them we found out she had left but no one informed us. This happened a couple of times. Our house was eventually assigned to Terry Burrows (Leeds office) and she was good to us. She took care of our sale for almost a year until the end, even after two potential buyers dropped off and issues with the house made our sale more complicated. Sadly by then the market had changed and we weren’t able to sell for the value we had hoped for. Not sure if I would recommend the Doncaster office. I would recommend Terry for sure. (Terry, if you are reading this thank you for persevering with us and for helping us get a decent price in a difficult selling process)

This agent and particularly Maryanne have been fantastic and I can't thank them enough for their attentive service, professionalism and refreshing customer-based approach.

26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
8th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)I am so fortunate to have been really well looked after by Anthony and Emily during the sale of my little piece of heaven in beautiful Thirsk .I felt totally relaxed as they were both so empathetic and extremely professional throughout .Simply delightful felt as if they were so kind in every way alleviating the stresses that occurr with the sale of a property ....almost as if they were family members .SO extremely dedicated and hardworking I was sad to have to sell my little piece of heaven but on a positive note realize how very fortunate I was to be in such capable hands Couldnt recommend highly enough!

22nd Jul 2024 (9 mo. ago)I have dealt with thomlinsons for nearly 13 years and have always found the staff to be friendly if I had any issues they were dealt with as soon as they could I have mostly dealt with Jane Bruce at wetherby what a lovely lady Jane is my emails and calls were always replied to as soon as possible I have not ever not had a response Jane is knowledgeable on all aspects of housing matters and is a kind caring lady I would not hesitate to use thomlinsons again
27th Apr 2025 (2 days ago)sold my property in less than a month! As soon as an offer matched my price, we went with that. I am impressed by the number of people who look at their listings to make a sale as fast as that.
4th Dec 2024 (21 weeks ago)Very little interest from buyers. Approx 8 potential viewings in 12 weeks. A large percentage of arranged viewings were cancelled at short notice. Very disappointed
