I cannot recommend Ewemove enough. My house had been on the market with Purplebricks for almost a year with a failed sale coming in that time. I had countless problems with that company which made me feel like I wouldn’t be able to sell the house.
Finally, I decided that despite paying the fees for Purplebricks, that I was left with no choice to switch estate agents. I had heard good things about Ewemove, and after speaking to their team I decided to go with them.
From that point on, they were fantastic and so efficient with every facet of the house sale. Pictures of the house and the advert were up within a few days, and within a couple of months I accepted an offer.
It was then that Jonathan at Ewemove really excelled. The sale was stagnating for a while and I was getting more and more stressed that something wasn’t right, but Jonathan consistently pushed both parties and our lawyers to get everything sorted as soon as possible, until finally we got a completion date and thankfully I have now sold the property.
This review doesn’t do enough justice to the hard work and dedication that Ewemove and particularly Jonathan put in to make it happen. But I will be forever grateful and would urge anybody to use Ewemove if you were buying or selling a house.

I been discarded and delay several times. When finally managed to get an appointment. The Agent, Sean, didn't even anounce the booking had been called or even bother to pic up the phone. The office put me on hold and didn't even return my calls. Aparently it doesn't matter if you can afford or not the place. Only if your accent if is British enough makes all the difference.

My wife and I visited a property in Rawcliffe, York on 02/03/2024. Our appointment was for 10.45am. Due to traffic we ran a bit late and informed the sales agent, Chloe.
When we reached the property, the first thing Chloe told us at the entrance, with the door open was that we had only "5mins" to view. She also said "it will be an in and out thing".
She spoke to us in an OFFENSIVELY IMPOLITE MANNER AND WAS BLATANTLY RUDE.
She LITERALLY RUSHED our viewing in 5mins. She treated us like she was DOING US A FAVOR.
This property is on sale for £450,000 and yet she showed it us like a POUNDLAND SHOP.
Chloe is shamelessly damaging the reputation of Ewe Move and doing a disservice to the owners of this property.
While leaving, she must have had a rethink and invited us for a second viewing. We are definitely declining this second invitation.
Chloe has DEPLORABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AND ZERO COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
BEWARE AND AWARE OF EWE MOVE, YORK!
AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE!

I would stay away. After viewing a place and waiting for 10 days to get a response from the landlord, I was told the landlord finally accepted and it was time to pay the deposit and secure the property. which I did and after canceling all my other applications for different properties, after two days I received a call that the landlord wanted to go with a different person because he paid more. I don't understand how the landlord got the offer while I paid a deposit to secure the property as they told me. I think they don't honor their customers or care about wasting your time. I find it weird that all the reviews are positive I would ask Google to check and verify those reviews.

Fantastic experience from start to finish.
We had tried to sell our house with another estate agent but unfortunately they were rather lapse at keeping us up to date with information. Fortunately we decided to try EweMove estate agents in York, thank goodness we did. The photographs of our property were wonderful, a great selling point. We had a buyer within days of putting the property on the market. The sale went through very quickly and with no problems. As luck would have it we saw the property we wanted, the selling agents were EweMove York, so we knew that we were in good hands. We completed within two months and received the keys yesterday. A massive thank you to Jonathan and Judith who made it possible for us to eventually downsize. Would highly recommend EweMove to anyone contemplating selling their home.

We changed to EweMove in York over two years ago and it was a brilliant decision. We had been with a large and well-known letting agents based in the York area who had been utterly dreadful and made our lives incredibly stressful. We were desperate to move to a different company. My wife contacted Ewemove, and the Branch director Jonathan was very quick to reply and find out how they could help. Before the transition to Ewemove took place (during lockdown) Jonathan gave up lots of his time to do zoom meetings and answer the many questions we had; we were very anxious that they would be a company that would look after our property, our tenant(s) and ensure that they did what they said they were going to do.

Jonathon (York) was excellent at selling my house which at the time was tenanted. He advised putting up for sale (the day the tenants moved out, with bookings for viewings starting 2 days later (when I’d cleaned it)! He had two days of viewings and I excepted an offer.
Im not giving them 5 stars as I don’t think they have an after sales/progression team anymore.
So you need to chase to keep informed of progression.

Dissapointed at my experience because of the many positive reviews about EweMove available.
I tried to get into contact about a rental property they had available multiple times through the week. Got in contact with their main office for a viewing, where I was told Claire would call me back as Johnathan who was managing the property was on leave. I never ended up getting the call back, so when I called the York branch directly (also note it's quite unclear which phone number is for what) Claire picked up and told me I would have to wait until Monday, as she is only covering for emergencies.
I wait until Monday and call again (ended up at the main calls centre again) and they told me they would notify Johnathan I had called. Then the website updates to now say the property has been let. I have still not been contacted a single time by any of the staff throughout the period. It would have been nice to have at least been told there was never actually any possibility (or at least minimal) of the property being available to me instead of just wasting my time.
Tldr: impossible to get in contact with, no communication between staff/branches, staff let you waste time instead of just notifying they have found a tenant already

We had our apartment on the market for almost 2-years without any luck, using a larger company thinking that they would have the resources to attract attention and make something happen. After realising we weren't getting the right service, we took a chance using EweMove and honestly - best decision we made! Chloe Stevenson was our estate agent, and was quick to get in touch for an initial meeting, valuation and then setting up photos and getting all the paperwork sorted. She was SUPERB, always responsive, professional and kept us updated. She secured multiple viewings within the first couple of weeks than we had at all with the larger firm over months. She was thoughtful with customers she was contacting, and ultimately secured us a deal on the property after a long stressful period.
I cannot speak more highly of Chloe and the service she provided us. She was an absolute delight to have work for us, on the ball with everything and advised us accordingly. If you are in the York area I would 1000% recommend EweMove and Chloe. An absolute asset to the property market herself!

We had a very positive experience from beginning to end. Chloe was the estate agent and what we really valued was that she was the only person we had to deal with throughout. She made the initial visit and valuation. She then took the photos, created the material to go on to Rightmove and Zoopla; and then showed prospective buyers around - so her knowledge and feel of the house were second to none. Within three days, we had a buyer. From then on, due to Covid, the process was very slow, but apart from that , without a hitch. I know we were lucky, but Chloe did everything to make it a smooth and trouble free experience. And we got a good price for our house. So what's not to like?!

I just wanted to put pen to paper regarding the agency called Ewemove Estate Agent In York, who are the sole agency for renting out my apartment in York.
I have mentioned before how pleased I am with this agency, and now again I must congratulate them regarding their fantastic Customer service, throughout this pandemic they have kept me up-to-date with regular information on their business and what they are doing to alleviate any problems during this crisis, Jonathan the branch director sends out regular videos which I think is a fantastic way of keeping you up-to-date with any information, specially keeping me in the loop on my apartment, If I have any queries I just email Ewemove/Jonathan and immediately I will get a reply which is usually in the format of a video chat which I believe is the way forward for businesses, it gives you that personal touch, so I would like to thank them once again for being what I think is one of, if not the best Estate agent n York for renting out apartments/flats/houses.

In my Business you need to get to know your customer and find out what their needs are what is important for them by listening along with clear communication and delivering what you promised.

Top class service from a top class team. After going though 3 or 4 other York based estate agents I have finally settled on EweMove York to look after my flat on a managed service, they take care of everything and I need to do very little.
When the Fridge stopped working, we chose to use Curry's to install a new one. Even though EweMove made no money on this Sam still went round and stopped with them for an hour as they installed it.

I have since recommended them to a number of others that wanted results, where other agents haven't delivered. My experience is that they care about what matters most to those buying, selling or renting.
If a certain lager did Estate agents, they would probably be like the York team.
