20th Jun 2026 (19 weeks ago)Based on our own personal experience dealing with the Head of Sales at Laing Bennett, we found all the hype and the high levels of service on offer fell way short of the mark. Two very basic oversights/errors by the person in charge of Sales really was laughable although the head of sales took exception to her shortcomings when notified by email. The key failure and final straw on her part was her failure to properly arrange photography and a floor plan in one visit. Instead when arranging the third party company to carry out photography and a floor plan, she actually notified the company to carry out photography and an EPC in error. We didn’t require an EPC as our current EPC is valid until 2028. This meant it was going to be necessary for a second visit by the same company to complete a floor plan so wasted time for us and the photographer.<br><br>We had dealings with two other members of staff from Laing Bennett when they came to get an overview of the property and we must say what a contrast, both very professional and switched on which unfortunately wasn’t the case with the Head of Sales. The many positive reviews of this company are undoubtedly genuine, as is ours but on our experience we would have to suggest to any of our friends or colleagues looking to move, choose an alternative agent.

8th Oct 2026 (24 days ago)After finding our dream home we had two properties to sell, Lawrence and Co sold both our houses in timely fashion.<br>Mark and Alexa came to visit and gained a full understanding of what it was we had to sell, one was very small and quite quirky, I worried it may be a hard sell but due to the beautiful photographs and good marketing it found a new owner. The other larger house again was presented beautifully for sale and we had one day of viewings.<br>They priced them appropriately meaning we had full asking price offers in both cases.<br>Jo and Sophie kept us updated on progress the whole way through, nudging solicitors along where necessary.<br>I really could not have asked for more, thank you so much

The downside for me, and others that dislike dogs immensely is that picture on the sale board. 21st Oct 2026 (11 days ago)I can't say enough nice things about Folkestone Hunters.<br><br>We had an incredible run of bad luck (through no fault of Hunters, I should stress!) while selling our property with them - time wasters and chain collapses that really caused a lot of stress and would have caused lesser estate agents to give up on us and leave us languishing at the bottom of rightmove's listings.<br><br>But Geoff, Joy and David never stopped working hard on getting our house sold even when things looked bleak, were always available to talk things through (I'm sure they were sick of hearing my voice by the end of it all!) and were always so patient, kind and good-humoured throughout the process.<br><br>Working with them was a 10/10 experience during a really stressful time and I can't thank them enough. Highly recommended.

Their attention to detail, knowledge of legislation and expertise within the market, allied to value for money makes them a go to provider for anything and everything to do with property sales and lettings.

We were always kept up to date on viewings and feedback and during the sale process Joy was outstanding. I would recommend them and use them again if I were planning a move.

We met with 3 agents for valuation and felt that Damien gave us the best advice re listing price. The app they set up for all communications between us was excellent. They also were easy to get hold of if needed a call.

From beginning to end, the experience has been absolutely fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with the service I've received.<br><br>A particularly special mention has to go to Will, who has been nothing short of exceptional. He has genuinely gone above and beyond throughout the entire process. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about making the experience as positive as possible for me.
