13th Oct 2021 (5 years ago)Very professional company. I was looked after by Suzy and Emily who I'd recommend to Landlords as they really respond to potential tenants.
5th Sep 2024 (2 years ago)I had a very bad experience with them - looking at other reviews here, I am not alone. If you're consdiering this agency - as well as looking at those reviews, do ask yourself - if they cannot even be bothered to reply to any of these bad reviews, what are they going to be like if you give them your business?
There are so many estate agencies out there, some of which are great, please do invest 10 minutes finding one...
24th Jun 2026 (19 weeks ago)Disappointing experience with this estate agent. I called to ask about a property, they accused me of being an estate agent! No I just know what I’m looking for… and then never called back.
19th Aug 2026 (11 weeks ago)Great agency, very quick in responding and sorting any issue.
Will be happy to deal with them any time
8th Jun 2026 (22 weeks ago)Tenacy terminated end of March . Still no refund of deposit AND NO REPLY TO REPEATED EMAILS! Very embarrassing and disappointing!!
4th May 2026 (6 mo. ago)I strongly advise against renting from this letting agency. I’ve never dealt with such an unprofessional and unpleasant company. They were inconsiderate and rude, failed to return my full deposit even though the property was left immaculate, and repeatedly showed up at the flat unannounced. It was an extremely negative experience from start to finish.
22nd Jul 2023 (3 years ago)Were unsuccessful and didn't have coverage of the successful estate agent
18th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)I have always found Jonathan and his team at Valley Homes to be professional, kind, courteous and timely in their responses when managing property on our behalf. I can recommend Valley Homes without hesitation.
25th Sep 2019 (7 years ago)This estate agent was worse than useless, very rude and slow. Messed me about with the house I was supposed to buy and move into and was I chargeed £2,500 before they could take the property off the market. Then the sitting tenant refused to move out and it took over 6 months get our money back and only achieved this by report
ing them to the Property Ombudman. Lost close to £ 3,000 in findin
g an alternative property to buy and had to take them to court. Now they have movrd from their Orsett road premises after they got expelled from the property ombufsman membership and are nowhere to be found...
BeEWARE AND DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL
30th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)Kate and colleagues were really helpful when selling our home. I would certainly use them again.
21st Jun 2026 (20 weeks ago)Depak was great throughout my tenancy, very responsive to issues and was very personal and patient. Thanks to you Depak & the team for everything.

27th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Scott is a very responsible agent. He started buying and selling properties with me. He explained every detail of the transaction very clearly and took good care of me. I highly recommend him. He will definitely help you.
7th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)Leanne handled our house sale very professionally and, to our great satisfaction, successfully! Her agency identified a good number of potential buyers utilising her first -hand knowledge of the local area, schools and community. We would have no hesitation in recommending Leanne and Barrett Move if you are looking to buy a property in the area.
