25th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)Overall, the feedback was when agent was chased for updates but didn’t find them very proactive. The agent didn’t sell the property despite being on the market for over a year, however other market factors were in place so it’s not all attributed to agent’s performance.

10th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)While the initial engagement was positive things went downhill. The listing was incorrect on some portals and the links to the virtual tour broken. This took numerous calls to get sorted. Communication back to me following viewings was poor and despite requests for statistics regarding online adverts I only received a basic summary as a one off.

10th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)Well I must say that after all the negative stories you hear about Estate agents I can honestly say that my experience of Brian Thomas Estate Agents was completely positive. From initial engagement of their services, marketing, viewings and communication, all aspects were excellent. We would like to personally thank Paul Wallace who helped us through the sale of our home, who went over and above what was expected of him as far as we understood, nothing was a problem for him. During this very stressful time he kept us fully up to date, reassured us and guided throughout. He protected us from the start with regard to finding the right buyer who was ready financially to purchase our home. There were quite a few hurdles during the process that Paul helped us through as well as advising, liasing and negotiating. He also chased very poor solicitors on our behalf that had caused unnecessary delays in finalising exchange and completion of contracts. I can honestly and wholeheartedly say that I recommended Paul @Brian Thomas Estates in the Woodford, Wanstead, Buckhurst Hill Chigwell areas and around N/E London and borders of West Essex. You will not find a better person for the sale of your home. Thank you again!!

Heartfelt thanks go to Victoria Peters and Laurence Lai for their outstanding professionalism and patient guidance throughout the process of selling my Notting Hill apartment. A friend who has known Laurence for many years first put me in touch with Youhome and from my very first meeting I felt reassured I was in very experienced and knowledgable hands. That impression never wavered. Not only was the marketing of my apartment very professionally done, but throughout the conveyancing process both Laurence and Victoria were extremely helpful, calm, responsive and kind with Victoria always on hand to liaise with the buyer, smoothing the whole process considerably.
3rd Feb 2026 (7 weeks ago)I certainly had a number of issues selling my property.Dave and the team were brilliant in solving problems and moving the deal along. When the buyers' surveyor recommeded some structural work, Northwoods found a builder and made sure the work was done quickly and to a high standard. In the end we had a very good outcome, with all parties more than happy. I would highly recomend them for their support and expertise. They were also really impressive in dealing with both sets of solicitors. A very big thank you!
12th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)I chose Steven to sell my flat because he seemed so honest and straight when I first met him -- and he proved to be exactly that as the sale progressed through all kinds of unexpected headaches. I can't recommend him highly enough; he was always responsive, never unrealistic and very attentive to details. He was also very supportive and comporting when necessary. Trust him and his judgement, it's worth it!

8th Mar 2026 (15 days ago)When i put my property up with Martin & Co. In Kingston. I told Manjit that I wanted to market my house fir interested developers as my house was a corner plot and had potential to build on to make a couple of apartments on it. Manjit got me the buyer’s I wanted, although it did take a bit of time due to planning permission etc. we got there in the end and I got the asking price I wanted. I am very pleased with the overall experience and would recommend anyone to give Martin & Co a chance to market their property to achieve their asking price. Good work Manjit and your team.
9th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)I am disgusted by the way [Cranbrook letting Ltd] treats people. We viewed a property and were explicitly told by the agent that the house was ours and we could proceed with the rental. We started making plans and stopped looking at other places based on their word. ?However, shortly after, they went behind our backs and gave the house to someone else without a word of explanation. This level of dishonesty is appalling. ?To make matters worse, the stress and disappointment caused by this agency's lies literally made my mother sick. We spent time, energy, and hope on this, only to be treated like we didn't matter. They are unprofessional, untrustworthy, and have zero compassion for the families they deal with. If you want an agency that keeps its promises, look elsewhere."

He also went above and beyond his duties as an agent, giving advice and help with preparing the property for sale. I would recommend him unreservedly to anyone looking for an agent.

You couldn't ask for a better company to look after you when it comes to selling a property from the very start to completion The communication from Mac & Ellis is 5 Star ++++++ I would absolutely recommend Mac , to anyone who's looking at selling. Ellis kept us up to date with his emails insuring we had all the information, 5 star +++++ I've used a high st estate agent once and they don't come no where near the standards of Meldone Estates Their hard work deserves more than 5 stars .
