KFH really helped us with our move from Liverpool to London and found us the perfect flat in the perfect location! Parisa was especially informative, friendly and helpful, could not fault the experience! Would 100% recommend.
Paul, the manager, and other team members failed to manage our expectations at every level. It began when we challenged the suggested asking price which we thought it was far too high. They insisted it was right, if not a bit low. We explained that the last thing we wanted was to put it on for too much, get excited, then have to come down in price and be disappointed. They said the market in Balham was awesome and talked of sealed bids and we should probably push for even more. We pressed the point but they insisted they had buyers waiting in the wings. After hardly any viewings and a failure of all these buyers to materialise they suggested we drop the price by £30k exactly the scenario we had said we wanted to avoid at outset, then tried to blame us! They managed to hit pretty much every negative cliche you can attribute to Estate agents. We changed to Purple Bricks, saved 5k in fees and sold to the FIRST person who viewed. My suggestion is you avoid KFH.
A huge thanks to Simone, Ismael, Nancy, Cleo, Josh and Samantha, dream team :)
Fantastic service from start to finish! The whole team were on hand to make the process hassle free and easy. A professional yet friendly approach to every question we had which made the experience of moving into myself and my partner's first home stress free and exciting! From viewings, to offering, to paperwork, it was all seamless. Couldn't recommend highly enough!
Don't bother with KFH. They really don't act in the best interest of the vendor. There are far better estate agents in the borough.
We had a great experience with KFH. Anton and Sally helped us every moment to get what we wanted. We made them rush a bit at the end, but they worked very fast and good to make it all ready on time. Now we have a beautiful house and we thank you so much for everything!!
Terrible experience working with Kinleigh Folkward & Hawyward. Having worked with a number of quality agents over the years, KFH charge the same type of fees but do not provide as good a service as the likes of John D Wood and Foxtons. They did not ensure everything we put in the agreement was completed before our move in, did not inspect the property enough to know it was full of damp, were slow on responses, did not even ensure a professional clean was completed before we received the keys, all of which was in the contract. To get respectable tenants, you need to choose agencies like John D Wood who provide high quality service.
We used KFH for our move and I can say with absolute conviction that they were amazing. It's all too easy to berate estate agents but without KFH we would not have move into our dream house. They provide the expertise, the calmness and the connections in a fraught and fragile process.
Our agent was Lee Hinds who I hope you end up with. He guided us through a very long move process in a very difficult market and helped us to make good decisions. He genuinely cared about us getting what we wanted as well and doing his job as an estate agent.
You need their understanding of the market to get access to the house you want. We did. We got the house which we wanted. I would use West Dulwich in KFH without hesitation if I need to again.
Victoria McNaught-Davis at KFH West Dulwich is an uncaring jobsworth who lost us a house we dearly wanted because she accepted another offer without even talking to us. We were registered buyers with KFH West Dulwich, looking for TWO YEARS for this perfect house. This estate agent couldn't care less about their clients, go elsewhere.
I had an excellent experience with Foxtons Streatham. Stephanie looked after reletting my flat, she was extremely attentive to my needs, found the perfect tenants and all in a matter of days.. thanks Stephanie!
Decided to sell our home and contacted local estate agents including Foxtons in Streatham the employee who i spoke to was called Thomas during our phone chat i asked him what the fee structure is and was told 2% this is double what all the other was charging when I challenged him to why it would cost me a extra £8500 to sell with Foxtons he was unable to justify I told him there was no point in going any further he called me an idiot and then put the phone down! of course i was shocked and called him back and he was just a rude. Normally i don't leave reviews but this is the most unprofessional behaviour i have ever experienced and thought i would warn others as if this is how the treat new business god help the customers who have signed up with them I will defiantly not be using the services of Foxtons Streatham and Thomas.
Paul and team were organised and friendly. They dealt with everything really quickly. Advising us as sellers they were also very realistic in terms of what they thought out property was worth when we were listing. I would recommend them.
Strange how all the great reviews are in the last month. It's almost like there is some kind of coordinated effort to bury the bad ones.
Had a dreadful experience with these guys. Promised all sorts of demand and delivered 7 people through the door in a 3 month period. Only when I chased them did I get a viewing. Feedback was non existent.
On two occasions my flat was 'sold'. Only it wasn't because both times these 'really solid buyers' pulled out the next day. When called to complain about the level of service they even admitted that they had taken over 20 people to a similar flat in our block (incidentally not sold either).
Having finally grown tired of the ineptitude of these morons I gave the listing to Foxtons. 2 days and 11 viewings later the flat was sold for £10k more than any offer I achieved with KFH.
I was sold on the lower fees. I would strongly advise any other seller to not make the same mistake I did.
