12th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)We were having trouble with selling our flat. After 2 offers that pulled out, we changed state agents to Acorn Sydenham. Harrison White took the lead. He has always been very responsive, very good at communicating with us, and extremely professional. He went above and beyond, to the point that he got us our buyers when we had finalised our contract with Acorn 1 month before. After all the struggles, we have finally exchanged. And wholeheartedly, this wouldn't have been possible without Harrison White. superb!!! thank you again!
16th Jun 2026 (2 days ago)In the end Acorn Dulwich took over temporarily but managed to sell our property within a week, listen to our wishes and had great communication. The manager from Acorn Forest Hill Nellie left and someone called Carly took over and her communication was absolutely rubbish she booked in viewings and didn't turn up. Forest Hill Acorn needs more training with knowing how to deal with their clients. Acorn Dulwich the gentleman name Harry gets a 10 star from us!!!
22nd Jan 2026 (21 weeks ago)We saw a property for let online, and last week my partner reached out to the agency to request a viewing and ask what documents were needed for the application. We were told we’d get an email with the details, but never received a response. After ome week I followed up asking for both a reply and a viewing, but again, nothing. Honestly, it’s not surprising the property has been on the market for almost a year—prospective tenants shouldn’t have to chase basic communication. Because of this lack of professionalism and responsiveness, we decided to look elsewhere and won’t be dealing with this agency.

4th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Our first review mysteriously disappeared, and I wouldn’t usually go to the trouble of leaving another were it not for the genuinely fantastic experience we had with Hamptons. The entire team were incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. We were buying a home and Callum was the agent, and we really couldn’t have asked for a better service. He provided us with excellent advice throughout, and we really appreciated the depth of experience he has with the market and the local area. It made such a difference having him and the team to call on. They were genuinely brilliant! We would gladly go through them again, and would recommend to anyone looking to buy in the area.

26th May 2026 (23 days ago)I would just like to express our thanks and appreciation to Simon and Byron and all the team at RJ in Sydenham. They were very professional from start to finish dealing with the sale of my deceased mothers home. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were always on the end of the phone to help with any issues we had along the way. They also got us the sale price they said the could get us. All in all a brilliant service and I have no hesitation in recommending RJ for your house purchase or sale. Thanks again Tony

11th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Should have looked at the negative reviews about the return of Deposits. Susan dealt with our rental and shes blunt and doesn't really care. Happy to rent us a house that covered in marks, scuffs, cracks, broken blinds and mysterious dirt around the toilet but as soon as it comes to check out, shes happy to put forward an extortionate amount to be deducted from the deposit. Do yourself a favour, if you're going to rent through Stanfords...Don't. UPDATE: Got £190 back from a £210 dispute between stanfords/landlord. They tried about 4 times to tell me that its going to take months and just pay a reduced price (tried charging around £500 for betterment of the property) and said they would do £450. Either way, we ended up paying less than half of that, dont let them bully you into thinking youre wasting your time and NEVER just pay the random prices they pull out of their ( ( ) Luckily TDS listen to tenants and listed out that Stanfords/Landlord was trying to get money for betterment.
23rd May 2026 (26 days ago)Extremely disappointed with the service from this agency. I arranged a same-day viewing with Yovin. I arrived on time and parked directly behind his vehicle. The viewing took no more than 5 minutes, but when I stepped outside, a parking attendant was issuing me a ticket. Shockingly, the attendant was speaking with Yovin and did not fine him, despite Yovin not displaying a permit either. Instead of looking out for a client or speaking up, Yovin just stepped in his car without bothering, showing a complete lack of basic professionalism or care. The double standard and indifferent attitude from the agent were incredibly unprofessional. Looked almost like collusion. I will certainly not be dealing with this agency again. Edit in response to the below: Your response response shows the callous attitude of the Estate Agency not just the specific agent. I understand the parking ticket is outside the remit of the EA, what I'm surprised about was the estate agents response. The EA was there when I got the ticket he was just parked ahead of my car, he spoke to the parking attendant as though he knows him and didn't get a ticket not moved his car, so tour response below, holds no value.

28th May 2026 (21 days ago)We really recommend Bradley from Hunters. His professionalism was completely unmatched. From start to finish, he was personable, attentive, and absolutely brilliant. He truly went above and beyond to help us sell our house in Forest Hill, and honestly, we wouldn’t have managed to get everything over the line so smoothly without him. What really stood out was Bradley’s ability to sell the vision of our home. We were selling a large five-bedroom house that was quite complex and needed a lot of work, so it took someone very skilled to help potential buyers see its potential. Bradley was fantastic during every viewing. He really took the time to understand our vision for the house and communicate that to buyers in such a genuine and effective way. Before choosing Hunters, we spoke with two other estate agents that were nowhere near the level of service Bradley provided. The difference was incredible. Another thing we really appreciated was Bradley’s dedication throughout the process. He always arrived well before potential buyers to prepare for viewings, and afterwards he stayed to give detailed feedback to me and my fiancé, which honestly felt unheard of compared to our previous experiences. He always removed his shoes too without asking, and was great with our dog and cats. We are so grateful to Bradley because without him, we truly don’t believe we would have sold the house as quickly or as smoothly as we did. We couldn’t recommend Bradley and Hunters highly enough.

14th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Really terrible experience. Had to report to property ombudsman following the agent calling me “little miss impatient”. Before this the agent repeatedly kept pushing me to post reviews and share recommendations of him on Crystal Palace locals facebook page.

16th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)Buying and selling a property is already a very stressful time and I found this estate agents overall poor, and general lack of communication exasperated what should be a simple part of the process in relation to viewing properties. I contacted the agency a number of times requesting a viewing to not get through to anyone or told to wait for a callback. When I did finally receive the confirmation, communication issues persisted with no replies to queries, a dead phone line when trying to call, and even a closed office even though we could see someone sitting in there. I was often given the excuse of a tech issue, but no other route to contact them was offered. We were left standing in the cold waiting for the viewing and 15 minutes late the door opened and it appeared the estate agent was waiting inside the whole time. I was very disappointed in the service and even if I was interested in the property I would think twice before buying in case the poor communication carried on delaying the sale.
