Unfortunately following Ken’s death it was clear my sister was unable yo look after herself, thus she was moved to a care home and the property marketed. Owing to their ages the property was not maintained
to original standards which created difficulties for some potential buyers.
During this period the staff at Auckland Estates, particularly Grace and Paul, worked tirelessly in achieving a sale at an acceptable price, while acting fairly with both myself and the ultimate buyer. As such I am happy to recommend the service provided as professional, friendly and supportive.

Dealing extensively with the Brookmans Park office the whole team was always responsive and insightful - particular shout out to Nicola - the branch manager. Attentive and informed - I'm almost sorry to see the transaction complete. Not all agents in Brookmans Park are equal - choose wisely if you want a stress-free process.

he sounded professional and very eager to assist with the selling. Overall Winkworth tried their best to sell my property but unfortunately was unsuccessful.

Communication was great, and we really appreciated the time, effort and guidance given to us along the way.

20th Oct 2025 (1 year ago)When I enquired about a property’s asking price and the seller’s position, I was met with terse, dismissive replies from the female agent I spoke to on the phone - a remarkably unhelpful attitude towards a serious buyer. I decided to proceed with the viewing regardless, but communication remained poor throughout.
Afterwards, I submitted a formal offer, which was completely ignored. I never received any confirmation or follow-up, and it appeared my offer may not even have been passed to the vendors - which, if true, would be a breach of legal duty.
The overall experience suggested a lack of basic organisation, professionalism, and integrity. For sellers, that should be alarming; for buyers, it’s simply exasperating. I would strongly advise caution when dealing with this agency.

I have found them to provide excellent service right from the start in quickly finding a very good tenant and then managing the let. Very responsive. Highly recommended. I would use them again without hesitation.

She took the time to assist us and remained kind and helpful throughout the process, which we genuinely appreciated.
