The whole rental process was clear, smooth and handled with great care. Matthew went above and beyond to make everything easy — he explained every step, kept me updated throughout, and made sure the agreement reflected exactly what was discussed. Even after receiving the keys, he acted immediately when I reported small issues and arranged help straight away. It’s rare to find someone so reliable, honest and genuinely supportive. I’m very grateful for his assistance and highly recommend Matthew to anyone looking for a property or working with First4rentals. Excellent service!

Further to the great support they sold the property on the first day!! You could not ask for more ????????????????

27th May 2026 (20 days ago)Absolutely terrible communication and lack of response from emails, My partner had emailed and phoned numerous times in regards to a property to rent and we were sent a questionnaire. Upon filling out said questionnaire we had no response and nothing since despite us emailing and calling again!. Appalling service overall and would not recommend.

They took the time to get to know situation, me and my dog! I would recommend as a renter and I have recommended to sellers too.

12th Nov 2021 (4 years ago)Have been renting our properties with property direct for at least10 years now. I can honestly say they are one of the better if not best agents to deal with in cardiff.Proffessional and promt and always looking at ways to help the landlords aswell as the tennants!

25th Jul 2025 (10 mo. ago)Nick Director of the estate agent; doesn’t accepted he isn’t perfect unwilling to make any amendments to property brochure, even though they got a legal obligation to describe the property accurately. When questioned over why he’s refusing to say it is porcelain tiles when its ceramic tiles He says its semantics, They are working against sellers by not listing a property accurately and fairly and are working against sellers! Below is screen shot of their response which flat out says no to any amendments. Certainly not worth £4000+vat fixed fee
