6th Oct 2026 (26 days ago)Far more than just a local estate agent in the Cotswolds area, Murrays punch way above their weight and run a first-class operation that matches buyers and sellers with remarkable precision. A buyer for our cottage was found pretty quickly from their list of quality clients, but the subsequent sale process was far from straightforward - listed buildings (as most are in Painswick) throw up all sorts of complications, such as missing consents & permissions that cut-price conveyancers pounce on with glee. James Murray and his colleagues displayed infinite patience, charm and diplomacy to keep the sale on track. Thanks to them the unncecessary legal obstacles were overcome and our sale went through for a good price in a weakening market.

Raph took care of me through the whole process and was very supportive through some conveyancing complications. Having dealt with a lot of local agents while viewing properties, Murray’s from first contact felt the most professional & attentive. I instantly felt in safe hands and was very happy they had the property I ended up going for ! Which is no surprise as they always represent the most gorgeous properties in the area. Thanks Murray’s , would 100% recommend and will return when it comes to moving on without a doubt.

Charles Harding knows the Swindon market very well and will respond rapidly not to waist anyones time! It is highly recommended to anyone who wants to sell house quickly.

18th Dec 2023 (2 years ago)Unfortunately English Homes only considered a price reduction as the way to stimulate market interest. We had 3 viewings in 12 weeks. Feedback from the viewings was that they had properties to sell but weren’t put off by the property or the price.
