Moving home can be incredibly stressful, but having Jo in our corner made such a difference. Her care, support and determination meant so much to us throughout the whole process.<br><br>When completion day arrived and problems arose elsewhere in the chain, Jo was an absolute diamond. She went above and beyond to help keep everything moving, and I honestly don’t think we would have got it over the line without her.<br><br>Jo, thank you for everything you did for us. We are so grateful for the part you played in getting us into our new home. You are a real credit to Bramleys, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you and the team at Elland.

Their communication was excellent they kept me fully in the loop with regular updates and took the time to clearly explain every step of the process so I always knew exactly where things stood. They were genuinely proactive, anticipating issues and keeping everything moving smoothly without me having to chase.<br>What impressed me just as much is how well they look after my rental portfolio. As a landlord, I really value the care they show both me and my tenants. They handle everything professionally and thoughtfully, which gives me complete peace of mind.<br>If you’re selling a property in Halifax or need a reliable team to manage your rentals, Redwoods are the ones to go to. She is absolutely brilliant at her job, and the care, effort and dedication she put into helping us made such a difference. Buying a home can be incredibly stressful, but having Sam supporting us made everything feel so much easier.<br>I can 100% see why Charnock Bates get a lot of the higher priced & luxurious houses, as they know exactly how to sell them and see it through from start to finish. They’re another level to other estate agents u have dealt with. There is no comparison.<br><br>We are now settling into our beautiful new home and are so grateful to everyone who helped us get here. 22nd Oct 2026 (12 days ago)We bought our house through Dawson's and Matt was incredible, l we had a very slow and lax solicitor and Matt was incredibly proactive and chased him regularly, keeping us updated at every chance and ensuring the agreed completion date was met. What could have been a stressful experience was a really positive experience thanks to Dawson's and Matt's hard work. If I was ever to sell, I would 100% use Dawson's for the sale. Cannot recommend enough

20th Oct 2026 (14 days ago)The team did an excellent job selling my house.<br><br>Always there to answer questions or discuss things, always on the ball trying to make sure things are moving at the right pace.<br><br>What made me decide to use Prothero in the first place was Adam's straightforward, honest, way of doing business and his passion (obsession??????) for anything property related. I didn't see that in other estate agencies.<br><br>I highly recommend this estate agent, and would definitely use them again in future.<br><br>Thanks ??????

3rd Oct 2024 (2 years ago)We knew we were selling at a lower price but they found a buyer quickly and knowing there were no estate agency fees or solicitors fees brought the price closer to what we had hoped for.

21st Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Property is marked as sold, initially they valued my property price very low if I hadn’t argued yet it sold within two weeks after being put on the market. Communication is very slow, no updates at all, everything is just at stand still no updates of what’s happening, Ella doesn’t respond to emails at all sometimes.

From the start, Katie impressed me with her prompt reply to my initial enquiry on a Sunday. She may not have the experience of some of the others I met, but she certainly showed enthusiasm and understood the complexities of selling a holiday cottage. I was able to contact her easily and she kept me fully in the picture. A buyer was found within a month. Highly recommend.

17th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)Polished marketing and a “boutique” label did not translate into the service or value we expected. The photographs and brochure were well presented, but our overall experience was disappointing. We trusted their initial pricing advice. Although the starting price was proposed as a short trial, the substantial reductions that followed and the eventual sale price left us questioning, in hindsight, the realism and quality of that advice. The eventual buyers first viewed through this agency. We ended their instruction without an offer having been secured through them, and another agent subsequently negotiated the sale and handled its progression to completion. Given the high fee, we expected much more from the advice, personal support and service provided. In our view, the fee was disproportionate to their contribution to the completed sale. Based on our experience, we would not recommend them.
