17th Jan 2022 (3 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

Throughout our journey with her from initial viewing to completion we found her to be very approachable and helpful and she could not have done more to facilitate a highly satisfactory conclusion for both ourselves and we believe also our sellers. On the rare occasions when Tash herself was not available, Jeremy was always on hand to ensure an informed and seamless experience.
2nd May 2023 (1 year ago)Very pleasant, friendly and well presented and punctual agents but lacked experience which I felt contributed to poor marketing and incorrect information being passed on to prospective buyers. Communication could also have been better.

24th Feb 2025 (8 weeks ago)Rang here to enquire about houses and was greeted by a lovely lady named Polly. She was absolutely fantastic in helping me find what was within my budget, understand what steps I needed to take to get my house on the market and walked me through the entire process. I honestly didn't expect such great service from a simple enquiry call: It felt like Polly really cared about me and my house. Over our short phone conversations she poured her heart and expert knowledge into thinking about what would be best for me, my mortgage and finances and the unique difficulties of my family situation regarding my mother in-law and her unruly dog (despite me essentially being a complete stranger to her!) After speaking to Polly, I honestly felt so much better about moving and will definitely be selling and buying my house with Hunter French once I've taken the steps to get my house ready for market. I've been speaking to a lot of agents recently and I honestly cant say how refreshing it was to talk to an estate agent that took the time to treat me as an individual and not see me as a number and just another house to "flip". I would recommend Hunter French (especially Polly!) to anyone looking to sell their home. If you want an unmatched service that you just don't get these days, give these guys a call. It felt like they understood that I was selling more than just a house, I was making the decision to sell something that has been a cherished part of my family for so long and that they would help me to find the place where we'll be able to put down new roots; and not be rushed into buying and selling like most estate agents do so they can "take their cut". From the initial visit by John, through to completion, the whole team were supportive, friendly and extremely professional. We dealt mainly with Ryan and Tom, who were superb, but all of the team made us feel welcome whenever we called in. Would absolutely recommend without hesitation.

My agent Ben really went above and beyond for what turned out to be a difficult conveyancing experience but we got there in the end! I would definitely recommend Nested for a bespoke service you don’t get elsewhere.

The viewings seemed to be done very professionally and the staff always seem very professional. However, not sure why so few viewings, if it is the market, wrong evaluation of our house or whether agents could have been more proactive.

From the start, Appleby and Townend made a big effort to understand our needs and were massively supportive throughout the whole process. We would definitely recommend Appleby and Townend if you want the personal touch!
31st Jul 2024 (8 mo. ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

Jules negotiated an unexpectedly good sale price for my house and, with the additional support of Nicola at the Whitfields office to progress the sale, really helped keep everything on track. Both buyer and seller are treated with respect and honesty and there is regular communication with both parties right through to completion.

Michael is properly tenacious being very active in terms of open communication and proactively chasing all parties (buyers, sellers, solicitors other agents) as need be to get the job done as cleanly and quickly as possible. (We had immediate responses from him at like 22:00 at night to some of our questions!). Easy to work with but professional. Made the whole experience of moving house much less stressful than it could have been.
