An agency that has a good property portfolio and who were easy to get in touch with throughout the process and post completion. I would recommend Kingstons.

From the very beginning, they were incredibly kind, positive and understanding - something that truly set them apart from what people often expect of estate agents. They approached everything with such sensitivity, recognising that this wasn’t just a sale, but something tied to a bereavement. Their support and thoughtful communication made a difficult process feel much more manageable. Their professionalism was equally impressive. The property was sold to the first viewers, which speaks volumes about their expertise, preparation and approach. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sam and Russell to anyone. They combine genuine compassion with outstanding results, a rare and invaluable combination.

Hannah was quick to answer any questions I had and kept me well informed at every stage, which made everything feel straightforward and stress-free. The viewing was well organised, and the property was exactly as described. Referencing and paperwork were handled efficiently, and I appreciated how clearly Hannah explained everything.

But if you're really lucky you may cross paths with Michelle at the Chippenham office, who very generously gave up her lunch break to show us a fabulous house during our very limited time in the area for house viewings. Michelle gave us exceptional service and I hope Allen & Harris appreciate such a valuable member of staff.

Fed up with This agency, we keep chasing our deposit , no response and no clear communication; false and irrelevant checkout report , they do not deserve any star

30th May 2026 (21 days ago)I don't understand why you phoned me and took all my information, only to still ask me to call you to book a viewing because you can't be bothered to check your emails. I specifically told you to auto-book me for a viewing if a property becomes available. Within five minutes of me getting a notification about a property, it's already gone. It seems like viewings were pre-booked. Also, I can see that you reported this as a fake review to Google. You have no shame in lying. You must be dreaming if you think this review will disappear.

15th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)As a first-time landlord, I expected clear communication, professionalism, and competent management. Chancellors/Oxon Property Management failed on all three. They were responsive until the paperwork was signed, but after that communication became slow, inconsistent, and unhelpful. Payment issues went unresolved for months, and staff regularly contradicted each other with different information. Their poor handling of the tenancy and failure to clearly communicate key requirements ultimately left me out of pocket at the end of the tenancy. Overall, an extremely frustrating experience. I would not recommend them to any landlord looking for a reliable managing agent.- 23rd May 2026 (28 days ago)“Excellent service from start to finish. Left us standing in the heat for 30mins with no explanation. Unprofessional!! We drove all the way from southampton.

Moving can be a stressful experience, but Northwood answered our queries promptly and gave all the relevant, helpful information we needed. George Dow, in particular, was extremely friendly and knew the answers to all of our questions when viewing the property. We even had a little care package for us when we collected the keys, which was a lovely touch! Thank you, Northwood
3rd Jun 2026 (17 days ago)Jacqueline at McFarlane has been looking after my property interests for many years now. The time has come to sell my rental property (due to my ill health). She has a difficult job managing my expectations, the tenant and the contractors. She has demonstrated reliability and persistence. Moreover she has been respectful, efficient and reliable occasionally in difficult circumstances. I would have given 5 stars if I was reviewing Jacqueline alone, however this review is of the service as a whole and some of the contractors have disappointed the tenant.
