4th Oct 2023 (7 mo. ago)I advise everybody to avoid Carters Letting Agents and local Landlord William Bruce. This year I was seriously ill for six months, resulting in emergency surgery to save my life. During this time they issued me a section 21, and I moved into a new property the day after I was released from hospital afyer being there for 4 weeks, still with two surgical drains attached, and incredibly limited mobility. Being fully aware of this information they went after my deposit and have today been awarded just over 1000 pounds, after the section 21 cost me nearly 3 grand, and rinsed the rest of my savings. During the time I was in hospital they issued notice to my landlord without my consent and before my new property had been confirmed. I questioned this whilst I was in hospital and was told 'not to worry' despite this being a move that could have made me and my 15 year old son homeless, and given on a date that left me no time to have the property cleaned properly. They have made no allowances for my very serious illness desite being fully informed, and created extra stress and financial worry. In the meantime the house has been renovated for sale, and I believe my deposit is paying for that. Their behaviour towards me after 5 years of tenancy has been disgusting, and they have used my vunarability as a tool to extract more money. Apparently this landlord owns numbers of houses in wolverton. Beware.
1st Feb 2024 (15 weeks ago)Overall experience was great. Original valuation was quite over what I expected but the housing market near the end of 2023 was difficult to predict. Mo and Joe were both very supportive and had great communication in regards to the sale.
29th Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)On first impressions came across as confident of a very quick sale. Then once this didn’t happen started asking me to reduce the property by £10k increments on a fortnightly basis (you gave the price recommendation) I was dropped like a stone and passed over to the office junior - no weekly calls as I had requested and virtually no feedback from very few viewings - if any, I had to chase !! Once I could get out of the contract I even had to call them to get my property removed from right move !! Talk the talk but dont follow through on what they say they can offer. Don’t waste your time or money !!

18th Dec 2023 (21 weeks ago)Deakin White were efficient and proactive in searching for properties for me. Both Sarah and Elliot were very good, made appointments at short notice and their sales style was not pushy at all (which I really liked). Communication is an area for improvement, it became apparent when talking to the seller directly that information wasn't always being passed on and the manager of the branch was able to progress things that had stalled for a few weeks. Overall a good experience.

29th Apr 2024 (17 days ago)Despicable company throughout. Even sent us a solicitors letter threatening court action if we did not remove an honest Google review. Took our complaints about the way they operate to the property ombudsman who agreed most of our issues and awarded compensation.
31st Dec 2021 (2 years ago)Marie’s remarkable work ethic We were with another agent for 6 months, they showed know interest or drive to sell our house. We decided to go with a different agent. We went with Marie from fine and Country Marie had the drive and a different outlook on the selling of our home . She booked one open day for potential buyers to view, on that day we had a disaster, a water leak!!! (we were away at the time) Marie not only sold our house in it’s worst state , she helped with the clean up !! We were kept informed all the way through out the sale of our home . We would highly recommend Marie for her outstanding service , positive attitude and her remarkable work ethic!!

Their very competitive rates, and friendly, personal touch, we're instrumental in us choosing to go with them. They offered excellent advice regarding solicitors, sale price and staging, and nothing seemed too much trouble. They marketeted my house extremely well, with the pictures and video tour really showing my house in its best light. Mike and Gino were always available during the sale and purchase with advice, encouragement, and personal support in what was a unique, often stressful situation with my buyer.
