11th Apr 2026 (8 days ago)We bought our Cottage through Savills, Emma was very helpful and friendly with our viewings and negotiations. She was also great at keeping the conveyancing process going and getting us moved in.
4th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Very friendly and easy to get hold of. They communicate well with you. Had a very quick sale. Slighter higher commission than a lot of local companies but worth it for the attention and care.
19th Mar 2026 (4 weeks ago)DOMVUS, what a great company to sell our house. Under the direction of Greg Carter and his team DOMVS sold our house twice! Immediately after we had given DOMVS the instruction to sell, Spence and Imogen visited to familiarise themselves with our house prior to showing potential customers around. Before the adverts had been published a couple, from the companies “Whisper” list were shown around. Spence negotiated an acceptable price, only for the deal to unfortunately fall through after a few weeks. However, within days Imogen visited with another couple who also liked the house, Imogen negotiated an acceptable price, and the sale proceeded. It took a few weeks, and then the very a determined Marcus became involved to assist getting the sale completed. After a number of very difficult calls to solicitor he did it, and we completed the next day. So well done and thank you for your determination. Finally, whenever l called, no matter who answered the phone they knew immediately my name and the relevant property, very refreshing and showing the professionalism of DOMVS So well done and thank you to all who helped to achieve this sale. From the first contact with Laura Holt to the progression team of Nicky and Marcus and all the other agents Christina, Craig, Julie, Holly and Gillian they were absolutely brilliant. We had one failed sale (chain broke) and one completed and I never had any doubt that they were working in our best interest. Professional and good communicators throughout. Worth every penny of their commission and their service was second to none. Can't fault them and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of selling in Weymouth/Preston. Thank you!

3rd Apr 2026 (16 days ago)The team at HGH have arranged a 6-month let for my house on Portland for the last three years. The advice and service from them have been exceptional. They took great care in how they advertised the property, screened potential letters and supported me in the viewings. The tenants have been just the right people, and I have felt in safe hands with HGH's management of the contracts. I highly recommend the HGH Lettings Team. Ruth Payne
16th Dec 2025 (18 weeks ago)I've recently done a mortgage with Henry at Morris Dibben and it's been such a smooth sailing process. He's answered every question I've had, explained everything in detail and has kept me updated the whole way through. Everyone in the office has been very welcoming and polite too - I would definitely recommend.

2nd May 2025 (11 mo. ago)I was very pleased with the service provided by my estate agent. Their local market knowledge was excellent, and the valuation of my property proved to be spot on. The advertising was professional, with great photography and well-handled viewings, helping the sale progress smoothly. I felt the service was good value for money, and overall performance was strong throughout. The only reason I haven’t given five stars across the board is due to occasional delays in communication, though when contact was made, the responses were helpful and professional.
25th Jan 2024 (2 years ago)Viewed properties on Markham and Curtis Fields. Mark was so patient, approachable, polite and professional during our viewings. Highly recommend the agency and also the beautiful homes. Bigger than your average new builds.
9th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)Had a valuation today from Paul Barron of Connells Weymouth…… I was very impressed. He arrived on time, was impeccably dressed and polite and also asked if it was ok and then removed his footwear as he entered my property…. What a gent ! He had obviously been working hard since I booked the appointment. I thought he would just turn up , look around and give a market “ guestemate ” !!!! He produced a dossier of other properties that were recently on the market, similar to mine and of what value they were on for and on what the initial selling price was and time periods of sale. So I could get a guide of the current market situation. He explained what Connells was all about and also future costs if I decided to go ahead with them , and put my property on the actual market. There was no pushyness, no sales pitch, just straight honest information, making me feel at ease in what can be a daunting situation. If you can’t decide what estate agent to choose, as there are quite a few in Weymouth. I would definitely suggest you give Connells a try. In my opinion 100% professional. Pleasure to meet you Paul. 19th Dec 2025 (17 weeks ago)We purchased a property through Lloyds in Lilliput. Julia was amazing. She was incredibly helpful, approachable, understanding, and very professional. Julia even went out of her way so my parents could look around the property prior to our completion to settle their curosity, and she was delightful and patient with my elderly father. She even went out of her way to help us with a legal aspect to speed us up on completion day. Even after we completed she kept in touch and genuinely seems to care about people.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

27th Mar 2026 (23 days ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!

Although we weren’t his clients, we still felt like he cared and would always endeavour to respond to any queries or concerns we had. Advice offered, honest experience led answers given to questions and a friendly voice at the end of the phone during a stressful few days of closing the deal. This is an estate agent run by people who care, know their stuff and work to ensure all parties are happy with the result. Communication was on point getting answers from the vendor quickly as well as answering questions outside of ‘normal’ working hours all to help ensure the process went smoothly. Thank you.
