Throughout the process all the staff were friendly and professional. The service this agent provides is top notch, they thoroughly check proceed ability of buyers, keep in touch with the other agents in the chain and are with you right through to completion. I can’t thank Polly and her team enough for their support, Infact I’m missing my weekly catch up’s with Polly already! I highly recommend this agency.

13th Nov 2024 (23 weeks ago)Disastrous. Worst experience ever! Unfortunately Martin's "manage" the tenanted flat above me where the bathroom was in a very bad state. In July I reported leaks into my bathroom and bedroom. Martin's sent a decorator to my flat who made a note of the redecoration which would be carried out when the leaks were solved. In September, when their bathroom floor was lifted, the leaks increased unbelievably, pouring water into my bedroom & bathroom, causing bedroom & bathroom ceiling repairs, bedroom redecoration, bathroom re-plastering, and re-tiling, etc. Upon being advised of the disastrously increased water leaks, Martin's (a five minute walk from the block) not only refused to view the damage, but suddenly changed their mind and advised that the water did not come from their flat above! Although obvious, a building surveyor has confirmed the route of the leak - and even advised that the water would have continued down into the flat below me - it has!

The odds against completing within the desired time were not great but thanks to Lloyds and specifically Nicholas, we completed on the desired date. Great communication and proactivity throughout. Thanks very much Lloyds!
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Although we weren’t his clients, we still felt like he cared and would always endeavour to respond to any queries or concerns we had. Can't believe if you ask for a viewing after 5pm on a weekday or anytime at a weekend its virtually impossible! Not sarah - she did viewings 7 days a week. I'm sure she'd do viewings at 4am if I asked her! Really friendly and always kept in touch.
