Roger and Chantelle were our main points of contact and both were excellent throughout the process. The negotiations were handled professionally and fairly, and we always felt that both sides were being treated with respect. Roger in particular struck the perfect balance between being approachable and highly professional, which made a real difference when it came to securing the deal. A special thank you has to go to Chantelle, who was outstanding in keeping everything moving. She kept us fully updated at every stage, maintained clear communication between all parties, and worked hard behind the scenes to ensure the process stayed on track. Her proactive approach helped make what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and well managed, and the speed at which everything came together was a real credit to her efforts. Overall, the whole team at David Hill were a pleasure to deal with. They were responsive, organised, and clearly committed to getting the best outcome for everyone involved. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell, and we are very grateful for the part they played in helping us secure our new home.

We were impressed throughout the process by their level of knowledge, kindness and professionalism. In all our years of buying and selling houses we have never received this level of support and outstanding service - prompt updates, considered advice, superb communication, all leading to a sale. 19th Mar 2025 (1 year ago)After five long months of stress, we finally moved out of our property on January 27th 2025.We had no help from Neil Wright whatsoever.We did all the negotiations with our buyer ourselves.Feedback on initial viewings was poor or none existent.Requests for telephone calls from them, were ignored, even after calling into the office.Neither our Solicitor or ourselves heard anything from them until two days before completion, which we had arranged ourselves.Extremely poor service and I am sorry to have to say, we would not recommend this estate agent.

Everyone I have dealt with there has been friendly, responsive, professional and knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending you to others and I just wanted to say a huge thanks for being so fantastic at what can be quite a stressful and demanding time of trying to move house.

24th Apr 2026 (7 weeks ago)We decided to go down the professional let route, due to the complexity regarding the new laws, some of which is clear as mud! I spoke with Andrew and went in to meet him and Eleanor, both I have to say were totally 'on it'. Really professional approach, this has taken so much stress away from the whole situation. We had a glitch halfway through the process, but it was sorted. If you are looking for a fully managed, stress free professional let, go no further! ??????
20th Nov 2025 (6 mo. ago)After being with James pye for 1 and half years and now leaving the property I thought it would be an easy process. Paul was rude when doing the check out process apparently he was too poorly to deal with this and made me feel very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend as I’m not the only tenant that has said this about Paul he’s very hot and cold. They will do anything to not give you your bond back.
3rd Jun 2026 (9 days ago)The team at Cobble have managed Sheep Fold Cottage for a number of years for us as a full let and have always been very helpful and professional. They have managed the major upgrade, which has not been easy with an old cottage, pulling all the trades together for the new phase as a holiday let. Special thanks go to Sue and Felicity for all their incredible hard work, parcel pick up and so much more! We look forward to working with Amy at Dales and Lakes Getaways, visiting Sedbergh again ourselves, popping in to Cobble to catch up! Lovely friendly people in a beautiful little town. Thank you.
