The staff especially Scott and Laura are very professional , knowledgeable and helpful. What was most appreciated was their sincerity, genuine concern and also that continuously they went beyond the necessary to assist. Thanks for everything
They were very friendly and personable before contracts and money were exchanged. However, their responsiveness (and politeness) has rapidly fallen off afterwards. Internal miscommunication meant that our rental property was not inspected in time after the previous tenants moved out, and the flat was filthy with mildew throughout hidden behind the furniture. Despite “managing” the property it seems nobody could visited the flat in years for it to have been in this state. We had to extend our rental on our previous flat and hire a van for another day as we were not able to move in on time. Getting anyone to take responsibility has been very difficult. The telephone is never answered. Requests to call back are not answered. Multiple emails have not been responded to. One member of staff still had their out-of-office reply from three months ago. In fact, the only email we have received from them since moving in (despite these problems) was to ask for a Google review!
I sent them a draft of this review, hoping that it might prompt them to take responsibility and make good. Having ignored four emails, they did eventually reply after seeing it. However, even then - they continued to fail to accept responsibility for their errors, and I had to tease an apology out of them for ignoring my previous correspondence. They only provided details of the complaints procedure after I had asked for it three times.
Basic manners, integrity, and honesty are missing from this organisation -I would not recommend them to tenants nor landlords.

Yes people there were friendly, but that's about it. First off, paid a 'reasonable fee' of £300 and spent 30 minutes writing down every personal detail for a background check. Then paid another £125 for contract drafting. Took them almost 3 weeks to draft the contract. Finally they will frequently close early or have no one in the office during opening hour. I would rather take the risk using Gumtree next time than use BE again
Due to the short notice Debbie was able to get everything up and running within a short period. I am happy with my new place and great service received throughout the process.
I pass credit check, left 500£ deposit , register my doughter to local scool, my wife change job in Romford, order new king size bed ,and when left one week, agency ( hornchurch) call me and told this house is not avialable longer....
Nice place to purchase a property from they look after you to the end. We will be recommending Reed if anyone is looking to buy or rent.
Very poor service. We visited and explained our interest in some properties. We were told we’d receive phone calls to arrange viewing. Never received a call. Phoned them back to explain we’d never had a call, simply said they didn’t have keys because they couldn’t reach the tenant. So phoned them back a day later to express interest in another property and were fobbed off again saying we’d get a call to book in. We never did get that call. They weren’t interested, incredibly lazy attitude, the staff show very little genuine interest to help, probably chasing bigger money from sales rather than lettings. My advice: don’t bother with them, They’re not bothered with you.
