Suzy at Abbott's kings Lynn, was fabulous. From start to finish, she was all five of the stars i have given. She has a lovely demeanor, which helps massively in her agent role. I would be very happy to deal with her again, if the opportunity ever arises. Also the other ladies who i had spoken to in Suzy's absence were also very helpful, nothing was ever too much bother for them. I would definitely recommend Abbott's to anyone.

3 years ago Abbotts Countrywide sold our house with only 1 viewing! Great. We would recommend this company to anyone. We are now ready to move again and didn't hesitate to use them again. They have already done 2 viewings. Keep up the great work Abbotts.

After a few initial problems because of a staffing issue, I was very pleased with the tenant that Abbotts then found for me. It took a little while but they fulfilled my remit and obtained me a very good market rental. The staff that I spoke too were really friendly. The inventory and meter readings were very efficient. Statements are clear. I did have to follow up on final bills myself, even though it was fully managed, as companies had not heard from the tenant direct and I found that a bit surprising as I expected this to be handled really. Mine was a furnished place and another local agent had been really worried he could not find the right person, so Abbotts did well. I am very grateful. I would recommend them.

If I could give you a zero star I would. Leaving you in charge of a property and our lives was a massive mistake. The lack of communication in your company is by far the best - in that you come top of the table. This is the most unprofessional group of people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. To anyone who is debating whether or not to have them "look after" your property I would not even give them a second glance let alone a first. I would say unfortunately but it is your own doing, even the lettings manager doesn't seem to know what is going on with her staff and despite us being more than cooperative she has actively destroyed our reputation with the landlord because it is easier to blame tenants than to admit that they can't let a property. Stop lying to landlords and maybe do your job properly instead.

I think that Abbots may need to move into the 21st century and improve their form of communication. In the time of Emails and instant correspondence, they appear to still be using carrier pigeons for their internal communications. And even these need some serious attention because given the amount of messages that don't actually make it anywhere, I'm assuming most are dying mid flight.

No one either in branch or between offices seem to acknowledge each others existence. Messages are relayed and you can speak to 5 different people about the same issue before you find someone that has the ability to talk to colleagues.

Whilst they are taking your money in rent, all is well and you are left alone as expected. As soon as notice is handed in, that's it. The Landlord is under the impression that we are being difficult about viewings, despite taking time off work for no shows and 'dummy' viewings that were booked to make the landlord feel that they are getting people viewing the house and the lettings agent are doing their job. Which they aren't. We have had 3 viewings in as many months. The landlord believes we have had many more than that.

We were given a weeks notice to vacate the property because the landlord was clearly told that there would be a better chance of letting if the place was empty. The carrier pigeon that sent the notice must have got confused because it brought a message that told us we had a week to move out. Our tenancy agreement had lapsed and the lettings agent hadn't sorted a new one. So they somehow managed to forget that they actually needed to provide one months notice. Not a week.

On top of this, they have been pestering for a screenshot of our bank statements to show when rent was paid. Because they had some money that had been sent but wasn't allocated anywhere. This obviously wasn't going to happen and they were provided with transaction numbers to show we had paid. But still screenshots were required. Many diseased carrier pigeons came and went and eventually a healthy one made it through and it was sorted.

I've never come across a company that lacks basic communication and customer service on this scale.

I would like to suggest that as a company they either invest in some working telephones or employ a vet to manage the flock.
