DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR RENTAL SERVICES. I have tried over 25 times to call through to the lettings department. They are under staffed, they do not answer the phones. If you are lucky enough to get a call back from anyone you get a poor attitude 0% customer service and the manager Damian as about as useful as a chocolate tea pot. No replies to countless emails and answer phone messages. Do yourself a favour and go with another estate agent as you will be paying for a service that you will never recieve.

Damian found us just what we wanted for a short term rental in a convenient location. He was always helpful and understanding and sorted out the initial problems of the conversion work encountered.

I did put an offer for a property with Abbotts, I've asked to provide decision in principle which I did and again I was asked to see their mortgage advisor with all the documents if this is correct. My mortgage broker is from a renowned company, I've provided my mortgage advisor phone number email etc. Still sales negotiator wanted me to go with all the documents. I found they are too pushy and they do not believe the paperwork I've provided. They think they are better then other estate agents in Ipswich. If you have to buy or sell via them, I would advise to avoid them.

I relocated to ipswich 6 months ago with my family for a new job and a fresh start and Abbotts helped to make this daunting process a lot easier. Although there have been a few teething issues with the property (which I suspect were mainly due to the previous tenants not reporting issues or looking after the property) These have all been resolved swiftly and I cant thank Olivia and Damian at the Ipswich Branch enough for their support and understanding. My family and I are now looking forward to a happy tenancy until I am able to buy our own home in the area.

I have had my property managed by Abbott’s since 2016 through their agent Damian Brown. Damian is the main reason why I will always remain with Abbotts in Ipswich , as Damian has been a huge support and I rely completely on him for the management of my house. Damian has not only always introduced excellent tenants, but has supported me through resolving a lot of difficult situations with previous tenants, prior to his management. Damian always represents and conveys my interests and has helped with negotiations in various situations. He thinks outside of the box and has always suggests constructive options. Even when there has been difficult situations, once involved Damian has a special skill of resolving problems. Damian is also a good listener, is very reassuring and accountable. He keeps to his word and I have always felt comfortable talking to him about whatever difficulties I may have. My experience with Abbots and with Damian as my agent has been in both the position as landlord and tenant and I completely recommend this estate agency for the excellent staff they have. For the excellent service I have received over the years, I am happy to pay full management fees as I know my property is fully protected and managed well. Thank you Damian and Abbotts Ipswich !!

I cant thank Pat enough in the sale of our property. We had a number of bad conveyancing companies within the chain. If it was not for Pat's chasing I honestly think the sale would have fallen through.

Pat, David and Rebekah were all very friendly and approachable and answered all my questions. They also listened to my frustrations with how long the process was taking and spent hours of their valuable time chasing solicitors on my behalf.
