What a nightmare -
From start to finish I wished I never brought through abbotts. My advice is if you are a young buyer or seller steer clear.
We dealt with a member of staff to begin with who told me my solicitors were not doing there job when in the end they are finished almost 2 months before the Vendor was ready. She spoke to me like a child every time I phoned - at 24 years old and buying my second property I was fully aware of the process and yet they still felt the need to patronize me every time I phoned. This staff member when we were first time buyers decided to phone my mortgage advisor to tell him I was scared to go any higher (in actual fact the property needed so much doing we were not prepared to go higher) but this time told me she wasn't allowed to phone their clients solicitor to ask a question!
We then dealt with Another member of staff who in case she does not tell you personally she does not have a magic button. I was fully aware of the fact that she didn't- but it was not unreasonable request to ask her to get hold of the vendors solicitor.
It took us from May until last Friday to move in. Even though they said of course by the end if august During this time baring in mind we brought through abbotts in Attleborough I was phoned 4 times to ask if I still wanted to sell my property or buy one using abbotts.
Never again will I use abbotts in Attleborough.

We have recently reached exchange on the sale of our property and I must say, I am so glad we chose to use Abbotts. From the very start, there was never any hard sell (unlike some other estate agents that came round to give us valuations!) and everything was carefully explained to us. We had a few hiccups along the way with a buyer pulling out etc but Diane was always at the other end of the phone or email whenever we needed her and more than happy to chase people up for us, provide clarification on things etc. Overall we have been really happy with the service provided and would not hesitate to use them again. Even after we had exchanged contracts Dianne was happy to meet us at the property so that we could take some final measurements prior to completion. Succeeded where two other agents had failed. The team at the Attleborough branch - notably Steve and Natasha - managed to sell my property within a couple of weeks after being on the market for over a year with other agents. They were both patient and helpful throughout the marketing and sales progression periods, and I really felt that they both genuinely cared about the sale. I would recommend Abbotts to anyone who has tried and failed to sell with other agents - I only wish I had instructed them earlier.

Natasha and Steve were simply outstanding, individually and as a team. forget everything you have heard about 'estate agents' This team treat you like a genuine individual. During a difficult move, they kept us informed , updated and smoothed out the wrinkles.
Didn't over price the property to 'test the market' like other outfits tried to do, sent over pre qualified viewers and sold the house within 10 days, on a flat rate commission based on the lower end of the range, even though we listed as offers in the region of.
Would recommend them in a heart beat and will be using them again for sure.

Cannot speak highly enough of Janet Charlton, the mortgage advisor. We were selling / looking for a year, and she was the only mortgage advisor (of many we saw) who regularly kept in touch with us over that time - She really cares about her clients. Thanks to her, we have a brilliant mortgage rate with a main stream lender. No-one else even came close to what she got us. This lady is worth her weight in gold !

This is the second time we have used Abbots to sell our property.
Staff always at the end of the phone to help with any issues. Their commission rates are very competitive compared to a lot of the other estate agents in the area.
We liked the fact that if we were unable to show potential buyers around that Diane or Steve were happy to do the viewing for us!
Would we use Abbots again??? Yes of course and would recommend to friends and family.
