While my sale hasn't yet completed, I had the pleasure of meeting with a fantastic agent. I'll tell you my previous horror story with another estate agent in short -

I previously was trying to complete a sale with another estate agent but they "forgot" to send me the purchase link. When I chased it the next day at 9am, they assured they would send it. When they didn't get back to me, I called them at 1pm that same day, and they said they had already had the property taken! I just wish they had got back to me, or had sent the application first time, and wouldn't have left me disappointed. Not only that but at my viewing I was rushed in and out of the property, no room for questions. I had to check my phone to be sure, it had only been 3 minutes.

I wanted to provide this context because your agents at Atwell Martin were no where near that. They were approachable and personable, and helped me understand what it was I would need to rent my first flat. They also made reasonable adjustments for me I wouldn't have expected!
It really changed my opinion of estate agents in general so thank you once again. Whether or not the letting is successful I wanted to let you know that I'm very happy with what you do.

I had the pleasant opportunity to rent a flat with the help and support Atwell Martin in Swindon, UK. I was there in the flat for about a year and half. I must say, it was an Absolute Pleasure to deal with Atwell Martin team. Atwell Martin team is very professional and at the same time very friendly. I had the pleasure in working with several team members of Atwell Martin. To name a few Mr. Trevor, Ms. Daisy, Ms. Courtney. All of them possess a high degree of professionalism and very friendly, positive attitude. I was never disappointed by the Atwell Martin team for whatever the issue may be. Atwell Martin team always jumped in and helped me. We would definitely recommend Atwell Martin as your estate agent. We had a worry free, peaceful 2 years with them, they are very professional and such a lovely team. I have received very good and prompt service from Atwell Martin.
Tom has always responded to my queries and reassured me that the process of my letting the property was going smoothly.
The initial " walk through" of the property is a good idea, I think and is a more informative tool than, says, photos.
I was able then to view the property with Trevor who was also very helpful.
I would certainly recommend Atwell Martin.

Absolutely the worst estate agents I think I have ever ever encountered!!! 1 star is not even good enough for these guys!! Found them to be very very unhelpful and these guys have cost me alot of money! Avoid at all cost and in particular an agent called Trevor!

I am delighted with the support the agency provides , communication is excellent and all the staff members are always helpful and act in a very professional manner . As the property I rent is in a perfect condition I do not normally have any queries , however , as the problem occurred with the washing machine , I had to report it and the response was immediate , the contractor visit was arranged straight away , all sorted out by the agency ,including the key collection ( dealt with by Sophie Guest , Many thanks ! ) . I am very grateful especially to Trevor Smith and Sophie Guest , the managers who I usually contact , but I also appreciate very much the whole team , everybody is very polite and friendly .

Completely rubbish agents - would definitely NOT recommend using. We wanted a local agent with local knowledge of the area to represent the house. They told us that they could definitely sell the house within the 12 week contract and gave the impression of waiting buyers. They failed to mention that their local office closed within a couple of weeks of them taking on our business. One viewer in 3 months - and we’re definitely not sure that was genuine. Couldn’t wait to get out of contract. Don’t use if you can help it.

Tom Smith the Letting Manager is super professional, going out to the property the same day. He had the property advertised online that day with a perfect description. He manage to get many viewing booked and property let within a week to a great tenant. Constantly giving me updates throughout.

We viewed and placed an offer of £250,000 on house in ironside close way below asking price but as we would have to extend was what it was worth to us. Received call from them asking why such a low offer
Upon my explanation she begrudgingly said the offer would be submitted but she would tell me now it will be turned down. I was then asked if I was proceedable I
explained my house was not on market but was valued and we would sell once we had a property in mind. Was told by this unhelpful woman I can't submit an offer I not proceed able no the wonder they struggle to sell I would not be proceed able if my chain broke down for instance. Really bad attitude and customer service. I would not sell my house with the Swindon branch and such a shame as previously I sold my home with the branch that covers Lyneham and had a really good experience.

Likes of Atwell Martin are the reason why estate agents get a bad name; what do they actually do for the money you pay them? Poor sales service from Atwell Martin and a high degree of incompetents. This company has gone down hill in comparison to what they use to be. If you want to rent an internet space, then choose Atwell Martin to sell your house. Don't expect any level of communication from this company if you're selling a house.

If only there was a zero star option. Like most Letting/Estate Agents, happy to take a ridiculous amount in agent fees, costs, etc. but once you're in the property they don't care. After receiving a physical abuse threat from our Landlord, they wouldn't even step in and help us out - DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Rude & arrogant if you are renting from them. They will also lie to you about the condition of the property you are about to move into, then allow cowboy builders to come fix electrical sockets even though they are not electricians. Also leave themselves 5 star reviews to make themselves appear better - Isn't that right Trevor Smith ;)

Rude staff who try to claim too much of your deposit with ridiculous check-out expectations. Take them to the tenancy deposit scheme dispute resolution service (free) if they try to retain too much of your deposit. If your experience with these clowns is anything like mine, you'll win.
