They managed my property for years. As is typical in this business, they profited from mediating services without adding much value—acceptable to a degree for someone who isn’t local. I gave them six months' notice to terminate our agreement, but they ignored it because the person handling my account had left the company. As a result, they continued charging me for two months after the contract had ended. When I discovered this, I asked for a refund, which they provided, but the amount was incorrect. After requesting a recalculation, they refunded the correct amount.
Overall, these experiences reflect a lack of professionalism. Given the low added value in this line of work, where fees often don’t align with meaningful service, I would advise avoiding them. However, the person who ultimately handled my case was very pleasant and polite, which is why I gave one star.

We sold my parents bungalow in Lincoln through BE. We live 35 miles away so entrusted BE with all the viewings. From the outset we received clear guidance on price expectations and buyer demand from Helena. Through the sale process Fabian kept us updated with viewings, possible buyer interest and then negotiated us an acceptable price. Following the agreement of a sale there was then some delays, as is often the case, but Fabian kept us informed and chased other parties when needed. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend BE to sell your property in Lincoln.

Great deal for landlords but a complete neglect towards renters. The review has nothing to do with the way I left your neglecting services. Repairs took months, bathroom got ripped out twice in two years because you don't check your handymen credentials. The fact that the reaction to this review is talking about personal account just shows you what type of company this is, my review has nothing to do with the way I left this scam adjacent company.

I have had excellent service from Saffron Naylor, based with Countrywide, who has dealt with our maintenance problems effeciently, promptly and always kept us up to date with any present position. Good communcation is 'key' and Saffron has this 'ten fold', unlike, sadly, laking in other areas of buisiness these days.
If every Estate Agents had a 'Saffron Naylor', there would sure be alot more 'happy' landlords.

Absolutely disgusted with the service provided by Bairstow Eves, Lincoln. My son has had a leak over his bed for the best part of a year, continous emails to the letting agent and lots of broken promises later he still has a leak, and it's not even from the facilities he uses but from the other tenants shower!!. I've advised him to take it higher and even seek legal advice but the lad works 60 hours a week and finds it hard. Bairstowe Eves seem disinterested and after he asked about ending his tenancy they told him they will look into it, no effort in trying to keep him as a tenant!. So be warned...enter into a contract with this letting agent at you're peril.

Rubbish, 20 weeks in1 viewing which was a complete waste of time. The Boston branch sold our old house, Lincoln, they suck you in then go on holiday, constantly!! Lucky to answer the phone or emails still advertising even though given notice and shouldn't be over a week ago!! Absolutely rubbish do not bother!!!!

Lettings team are lovely, property management are awful. I was left without heating for 3 weeks in February due to the property management team trying to illegally force us to pay for something that we never agreed to. It took a formal complaint and getting the council involved for them to eventually back down and resolve the issue. Due to this, I was out of pocket, having to pay to heat my home with an electric heater which was extremely expensive, and they've ignored all of my contact when I asked to be reimbursed!
Be very careful when renting with Bairstow, they seem to have a very poor understanding of tenancy laws and will try to pressure you into paying for things that they should never ask you to. Extremely disappointed with their cowboy attitude.

Very poor experience with the purchase of a property through Bairstow Eves Lincoln. Only provided reactive service with the sale process, constant chasing and no proactivity or forward thinking from the management. The manager did nothing but worsen any issues rather than resolve them - would not recommend. The only reason this is a 2 star review and not a 1 is because Keshia was particularly nice and did try her best at all times.

I still stand by what I've said before, however we are extremely disappointed with our property manager. Everytime I interact with them, I feel like I'm being constantly ignored and I have to remind them about my existence. We've submitted an emergency issue, and it took a long time for them to respond. They never keep us updated, we have to call them twice or more to ask about the situation. Absolutely disappointing. Hope it will be as good as their sales/letting team.

Do you think it is fair to refuse to allow a tenant to be a part of an inspection knowing this would give them a fair chance to address anything they'll later be accused of damaging before deductions are made to their deposit? All I can say is Bairstow Eves Sales and Lettings Lincoln are awful and my family described their boss after my treatment at the hands of them saying 'Simon Sewell is an awful man.' They obviously have someone burying bad reviews here. But have a look at all the one star comments, and on different websites where their rating is usually 2 stars. It's not just that Bairstow Eves get it wrong it's that they'll do anything to cover it up and insist they don't learn from their mistakes. The standard reply to reviews like this is 'we don't know what property this is in relation to.' Yes, that's because you know you have tenants over a barrel, tenants who want you to address your incompetence and you know full well they'll make themselves vulnerable if saying the precise tenancy they refer to!

I explained why I had popped in and was met with immediate attention. Scarlett (like Johansson, but much more vibrant) Jayne (like Mansfield but far classier) and the boss Helena (like Bonhem Carter but far more sophisticated) all super cheerful and chatty dealing with my query within minutes. Bairstow Eves bought the student property we were renting and they have to be the most accommodating agency when it comes to the special needs and disabilities of our household.
The staff on the phonelines are helpful, patient and kind; it's hardly stress inducing. In terms of house visits, they're always punctual and very friendly. Stephanie in particular has been very helpful and informative, along with putting us at ease with the whole process.

Bairstow Eves Lincoln didn't tell me about an inspection, no email or notice and the man who came to do it let himself in while I was getting dressed despite me being in the flat. He was then shameless about it and insisted I'd been sent a letter when Bairstow Eves later confirmed he hadn't. His only interest was in getting in and ticking off the inspection. This lot are shameless and offer tenants no sense of security. They also are known for trying to bury bad reviews by getting their tenants to post positive once as they did with me. Worst agency ever. Agents didn’t let us view the property physically and they lied to us saying property is in good condition. A property in Horton street, it had many issues and was not very suitable for the baby, property was very old and very stingy landlords. They never bothered to fix any issues we reported and even the agents were very negligent. Fix flow never worked. On top of that after we left property landlord done a false claim on us for about £1100. Luckily the adjudicator found this false but still we had to pay £300 unnecessarily. Never trust the agents blindly. view the property physically and take time and find the suitable property. Never fall in to the trap of Bairstow eves.

Great photography and always friendly to communicate with but a very poor choice in conveyancer made the whole process unnecessarily drawn out, stressful and unpleasant. I chose to support my local high street business instead of going on-line and they recommend a conveyancer near Birmingham, Talbot's Law, Dudley? I would advise you do your research before excepting this recommendation, you don't get that many 1 star reviews for being good...
Unfortunately for me, my buyer took the advice and we both had to suffer the lack of professionalism and guidance, and poor communication from Talbot's Law. Bairstow seemed to have zero influence over the recommended conveyancer to move the sale along and mismanaged expectations to increase the levels of stress and anxiety (and additional cost) in the whole process. I hope they do better in future as this experience was unnecessarily drawn out, costly and stressful for myself and my buyer.
A constant battle to get anything out of the conveyancer. If they were too busy and could not give any time to the exchange for two months why not be honest and give the option to go elsewhere instead of giving false hope that things would move along swiftly? Please support local business, maybe consider reading the reviews of a company before recommending them for your poor clients to endure!

CONS: They are bad at managing property problems. I have lived nearly 1 year now and have done all reports via fixflo.
When I moved in, the weather was great and wasn't too cold. I only used 2/5 radiators, little did I know all other 3 was not working. By winter 2022, weather was horrible so I started to turn on all of them then realised 3 out of 5 is not working, so I reported via fixflo, and guess what how long it took them to get it replaced? 1 month. They said my landlord has not approved all their quotations that is why it took a while, like really? 1 month and you are suffering from the extreme cold weather & mold build up? Unfortunately, my landlord is not the best. But BE is poor with follow up, you have to constantly call them to get updates and I never get a call back for ff up, very sad. We had a leak of water into the washing machine even if is off, they fixed it in a week, but after it was fixed, the pipe under the kitchen sink was leaking. reported it and got it done after approx 3 weeks. now I have problem with my boiler which is urgent. Monday, boiler was leaking a lot! at 500ml per/h, then got stronger turned into filling a 250ml tub in 5mins! and that is 6L in an hour if water is on. I reported it as soon as I found it out. Water leak is getting stronger filling 250ml per 5mins, that is 6L in 1 hour! Imagine paying all those wasted water that you have to put in the drain? we decided to turn off the water when not in use, that means not having enough hot water to shower, etc. no response or call back from Bairstow. I always have to call them first to follow up. they said my landlord has not replied about their quotations. Day 4 of the boiler problem, engineer came and took out the boiler, NO LEAK AND WE CAN TURN ON THE WATER CONTINUOUSLY BUT PROBLEM not fixed. NO HOT WATER SINCE THE BOILER WAS REMOVED. who would use ice cold water during the winter? it's gonna make you sick. i was told by the engineer to report it go fixflo as a new problem. If I should have known, I should have reported it earlier the week. Reported and called them again on friday morning, I was told by the agent to buy a temporary boiler for the weekend, I said am not doing that. if boiler is fixed, money wasted. I told them I need an urgent response today, the delay of response has caused a lot of hassle in my everyday life. Water is a basic need as well as being warm in the winter.

it is taking over a month to get my deposit refund and over 10 days after i gave them my account details after series of back and forth when I had personal bills to pay. No animal deserves to be treated like this, not to talk of a human being. I keep contacting them to get my refund. They never contact first. This is a place i never defaulted any payment.

Even before we found the property we were helped a lot through the various viewings. I have to say the process was very smooth. Such a poor rental team it beggars belief. I am the partner of a tenant and have been personally affected by how incompetent they are and seen the stress it causes him with all their sloppy, empty promises. These reviews give me the impression their sales team might be better than their abysmal rental team but I also know, as others have mentioned here, that five stars reviews are because people are pressured by the team as I have seen personally happen. Like Bryan L, Angus Drew , Evan, Poppy, Dean and many many others on here I found Bairstow Eve's service for rental poor and unprofessional. Jade was ok but Jayne awful. They are all over you when they want something but when you need to step them in they side with landlords and have zero interest in representing tenants. Too many bad reviews on here to indicate anything else. I notice there are also bad reviews on Glassdoor speaking to the experience of working FOR Bairstow Eves Lincoln. Apparently like with tenants, they promise their employees the earth and don't even honour their promises with them. A lot to fix!

I don't think we will ever be able to thank Jade and Kieran at Bairstow Eves enough for both guiding us and getting us through our very first property rental. Their service was exemplary, both Kieran and Jade took us through each step of the process with a kindness and professionalism we hadn't received through other agencies, especially when most of the others made almost no effort with us or our situation. !EDIT! I unfortunately wrote a review that was 5 stars and very positive. This was before the long and frustrating process of buying and selling had taken place. I was pressured by the team to write one as their area manager, Lisa would be checking and they wanted to appear that they had done a good job - acting on good will, I did but I wish I hadn't.
With the exception of their mortgage advisor, Morta, who was brilliant, working with the Bairstow Eves sales team was a frustrating experience. The sales team were never consistent with what they said and they had the best interests of the buyer at all times, meaning they had very little time for us and we were always the ones that had to compromise when they couldn't do they're job in order to move things forward.
The perception was that there was very little selling done for our property and once they'd got those offers across, the work was done.
Their conveyancing firm are also not worth using, they just add to the frustration with no communication, not listening to the requirements or acting in the best interests of their customer.
I wouldn't recommend using Bairstow Eves. Take your time and look elsewhere.

I recently arranged a rental property through Bairstow Eves and found the help and advice from Jade Exton made the process easy and a lot less stressful! Jade arranged a viewing at quite late notice and updated me fully on the property and any work that was going to be carried out prior to agreeing a tenancy. My sale wasn’t straight forward as other factors needed to be considered. I approached Helena, the manager, who came out to discuss the issues but she was more than happy to take on board listing my property. She was very thorough and also (which is a first in all the estate agents I’ve dealt with in the past) had her staff come to the property prior to listing to be shown around! I believe this was very beneficial as no 2 houses are alike.
This enabled Mia and her colleague to ask me any questions which potential buyers may ask and to familiarise themselves with the layout.
Following listing I had 5 viewings and an offer for the property made in less than a week (that was the asking price too)!
Unfortunately I had to remove the house from her listing which but I won’t hesitate to use Helena and her team again.

A tenancy was agreed pending documents and a move in date agreed. A few days delay with documents but Morgan said that was fine and agreed a date to move in. Bairstow eves, I feel took money unfairly and I feel made a judgement on a tenant but have unfairly discriminated under DDA . I am furious, upset and perplexed all in one. Shocking service and I want money back, all monies spent on certificates, documentation and changing providers of services, furniture, removal men etc… and then not even the courtesy of a phone call but an email.

The worse estates agency I’ve ever seen in action. No communication amongst the team, no organisation, absolutely appalling service. I was lied to on several occasions by these people. To start off with we had No hot water for 4 months of a 6 month tenancy. JAYNE has being appalling and lazy, I won’t mention any other names but Jayne stuck out as one that didn’t care about the tenant. Took an extra £360 at the end of tenancy that she shouldn’t have (which has now been refunded 2 months later). Now my overpaid rent is being held back until the new tenant pays their rent? Wouldn’t recommend this estate agency and neither would the contractors working for them! Not Brian.

Whilst my experience has been bumpy it’s through no fault of Bairstow they have reacted towards solicitor going bust (countrywide solicitor from their own panel), causing delays and problems looking for solutions. Owen is always helpful he really can’t do enough, Hannah chased weekly and Helena the branch manager over saw the completion. The team are always smiling and looking to help.
I wish to add don’t expect everything to be in working order - heating was not working when I got the keys for the purchase. Bairstow accept no responsibility! Luckily my bill was not bad but could of been worse.

I am afraid is a no for me. Speaking from my personal experience over the last 3 years with them. Obviously there is always 2 side of story I am sure BE will dis-agree on the things I posted. As a tenant, below is what happened and how I feel.
First of all, moving in was easy. No trouble whatsoever, the girl who used to deal with us actually left after we moved in.
Only then the trouble starts, after moved in we found the property has the poorest internet coverage ever, 0.8mbs means it is petty much zero. I cant really put this down to BE's fault as we should be checking the network speed. The next 3 years we are rely on mobile wifi and again it is a poor signal area.
After a few months, BE has process against their agreement with Landlord that check the property every 3 months. I work aboard most of the time and only come back to UK every 4- 5 month for a week. I have always let them use their management key and even they give you VERY SHORT NOTICE?less than a 3 days sometime). I have always agree for the visit. Nature of my job makes it very difficult to maintain the garden (pure grass) and I have explain this to BE multiple time that I am aboard. Nevertheless, they will only pass part of the information (from what I understand) to landlord and try to evict as "you didnt cut your grass over the summer when you are not in the UK". Then they will recommend you a gardener and who they recommend will charge you twice the market price for 15 mins of trimming the grass.
Later when I had enough of this, I start to refuse their visit until they pass on correct information and give correct amount of notice for visit. Then on one Sunday 9:30 in the morning, I had my landlord knocking on my door telling me that BE has told them I refused their property visit and what is going on.
This is not the end of this, and conversation start between me and BE, it was pointless speaking to their "property manager", escalated to their brunch manager then it gets resolved.
After another few month, the security alarm start play up and it is constantly making alarming sound in the house. I reported it to BE, with countless number of phone calls and emails. 4 weeks later they decided to get someone to fix it. That I have to stay in a hotel at my own cost.
When the lockdown started this year, the network speed at property makes WFH impossible that trigged the move as I was always a bit lazy to move house unless it is necessary.
Only when I gave notice to leave, suddenly all the repair that turn out very quick such as blow windows etc. Seems to me that during my 3 years in the house they never had thought of "lets do repair that we should be doing".
Currently have on going dispute with deposit with BE that is still outstanding.
As I said, above are my side of story over last 3 years of dealing with BE Lincoln. I am sure there is a well explain reason from BE side but asking if I would recommend them to anyone? Answer is NO.
Did I had a good experience with them? Answer is NO.
What I think of BE lincoln? If you are a landlord, I think they will be fine, as they will possbile look after you the best way they could to impress you. If you are a tenant, sadly no. They dont treat you like customer(at least from my experience), they can quickly turn their gun against you rather than balance between landlord and tenant and actually "manage" the property. If you look at most of the reviews, happy 5 stars from buying/selling, sad face 1 star are mostly renting. Hmmm, think about it.
Should you avoid them? I cant advise but if I knew all the trouble I need to go through I will definitely avoid.

We were selling my mum’s house to help pay for her care home fees.
Her home is a bungalow in the highly sort after village of Branston, it was formerly the “Show House” in a quiet cul-de-sac.
After 15 months with another estate agent in Lincoln – we decided try a different agent.
We first met Helena Jones, Bairstow Eves Lincoln office manager, at my mum’s house – what a vibrant personality. She said that her agency could sell the bungalow in 3 months. As you can imagine after 15 months of virtually no interest – we had our doubts! But Helena was determined that she and her team could sell quickly. We visited the office in Lincoln and were immediately impressed with the hive of industry and the way in which everyone working there was eager to help. There was a friendly competitive spirit and we were encouraged by this warm, busy environment which was so different to the first agent offices.
I think we have had contact with nearly everyone in the office and they were all very friendly, willing to help and also, if they couldn’t help, it was followed quickly by a phone call from someone who could help.
We were kept in the loop at all stages of the process, without us having to do the chasing. We would love to pat them all on the back, but special thanks has to go to Helena because she must be doing an excellent job in choosing the right people to make the whole process as painless as possible.
Secondly our thanks and appreciation must go to Hannah who has been our main point of contact. Her performance has been flawless. She answers the phone with a sunny disposition, constantly giving updates, easing our minds when little problems arose as they always do in these processes. She listened to my worries and I always felt supported. Hannah – thank you, you are a star!

Putting this under a pseudonym as still in contract with Bairstow Eves and don't wish my tenancy to be affected but people should be warned. I wouldn't go with them again. They have no interest in customer care and are unresponsive, except when they want money from you. Can see here they also bury bad reviews with lots of over the top positive ones. Shoddy.

No hesitation in recommending Baistow Eves at Lincoln to sell a property in Lincolnshire. Service, from valuation to completion, was faultless, far better than expected. Customer service from the Lincoln office was just right, handling viewing appointments and offers skillfully, and communication was really good. They stayed in contact throughout, giving confidence that they were in our corner.

I contacted Sammy to find a tenant for me. I wanted to manage the property myself so didn't expect to be top of their list of priorities, but I was very impressed at the service I received and for a very reasonable price, including providing a valuation, taking photos, advertising the property, showing around tenants (and then repeat the whole process a second time when the tenants pulled out two days before they were due to move in). I had a complaint upheld against Bairstow Eves when Daryl Myhill took 950 pounds out of my account without my permission. In a second complaint they also accepted Jayne Dillon should not have told me I could not be present at my flat inspection when Countrywide had offered for me to be and later accepted that was my right. This ridiculous lack of cooperation from her led to 300 pounds being held back from my deposit for marks on a wall that had in fact been addressed. I also had to complain about Jayne Dillon repeatedly hounding me over whether I wanted my flat extended by phone and email when I had a third of my tenancy still to go and she knew I was dealing with a Covid issue in the family. Countrywide also accepted Sara John was wrong to say refunding my deposit via BACS could take up to 10 days when it takes three. They might look amenable on here but Bairstow Eves do everything in bad faith and their mistakes run on and on. As a result I currently have a formal complaint about them with Countrywide, the Property Ombudsman and My Deposits for the time they have wasted of mine as I don’t want them treating other tenants like this. Do yourself a favour, go with another Letting Agent. King and Co- a few doors down- are much more professional, respectful with your money and frankly kinder.

If i could give this awful company no stars i would because of the way they have treated my son , having helped him move out on the day , I personally cleaned from top to bottom a already clean flat so there would be no excuse for them to deduct any of his hard earned money from his deposit , but guess what , having not found anything , they want him to pay 300 pounds towards repainting the already white walls !! , even te removal men commented that they had never seen such a clean flat , beware somehow they will find something , go to another agent , the stress they have caused my son has been unmeasurable .

I was previously with another agent for a very long time, wasn't getting anywhere and lost a bit of hope in selling my property as it was quite a niche property. So I decided to get a fresh perspective from a different agent.
When Helena came for a valuation she was very friendly and professional. She had looked into the area properly and was able to give me an actual valuation, whereas other agents couldn't. She gave me alot of confidence that they could help me sell.
When it came to viewings, they were booked well and an agent always came to do them, I was never asked to do them. I also had alot of viewings so the team were marketing the property brilliantly!!!
When I did sell Owen was there to help me find a suitable property for myself and dealt with all the correspondence which was such a big help. To me it was above and beyond.
Mia and Helena also kept me informed regularly on the progress of my sale which was greatly appreciated, I never needed to chase anything up.

As a landlord that paid BE to manage my property, I found the maintainence team (that is not even based in Lincolnshire) an absolute disgrace.
I paid for repairs that they told me had been carried out by the contractors they got in, only to find out months later that half the job hadn't been done and the resulting damage caused then cost me thousands to put right. Despite having a trail of emails to evidence what they told me had been done and the invoices I had paid, they completely deny any liability and the customer care team don't give a monkeys!
The result was that the tenant breached the contract and left, owing rent money, council tax and a left load of rubish in the property, which I wasn't then allowed into just in case they did pay the rent. So I was left with an uninhabitable property, no income and thousands of pounds out of pocket. The deposit doesn't cover the rent owed or the other damage caused by the ex tenant, so they haven't lost out.
I would suggest to any prospective landlords looking to use Bairstow Eves that they look somewhere else first. I was blatently lied to over the last 18 months. At one point they instructed a roofer to assess a water leak in the bathroom!!
They need to have a zero stars option for reviews as one star is credit that's not due to them.

Bairstow ended up not doing most of the viewings, often they would fail to inform me that they expected me to show round the prospective buyer.
It didn't seem that they put much effort in selling the place until my period was up and I told them I didn't want to sell with them anymore.
Better to go with strike or purple bricks as Bairstow will charge you more and barely give you anything extra.

The man (Owen) on the other end of the phone was rather rude and unproffesional. Asking if I could borrow £5,000 from a family member or friend to put down as a deposit.

Always quick to respond to emails and calls, its a big long distance move for us, and with covid we werent able to physically see the property before biting the bullet for it, and Jayne could not have been more helpful if she tried, sending every bit of info on the place, & videos of the property. Update. Whilst my property was on the market, I used Bairstow Eves to rent it out. Some aspects were problematic (tenant related), The agents could not have been more helpful in resolving the issues. A year on from selling the property, some of the problems regarding unpaid bills came back on me. Matthew Fido helped me to get them resolved, a task he did with good humour, professionally and very efficiently. I cannot thank Bairstow Eves and Matthew in particular, enough for their help and support, despite the fact that they were no longer being paid to do so.

My partner and I have just had our offers accepted on two properties on the same day, Mia did a great job on the sales side of things and Morta was very helpful with mortgage advice, allowing us to demonstrate that we were serious purchasers. Both were very friendly yet also professional and confidence inspiring. Mia kept us regularly updated throughout the negotiations with the vendors, which was reassuring in the current, fast paced, market where many people are chasing the same houses. We’ve still got to get through the conveyancing procedure, which is tortuous at the best of times, let alone in the current Corona climate, but from what I’ve seen so far I’m confident that Mia and the Bairstow Eves team will do their best to make it as smooth as possible.

She was very professional, friendly and polite. She attended to us, but also gave us space and time to look for ourselves. The viewing went very well, we felt supported and welcome. We were amazed to learn that Mia was new to her job. We spoke about the house with Helena by telephone, and again, we received excellent service, in a relaxed but professional manner. We went on to make an offer on the property by telephone, which Mia handled, with Helena in background support. What a great way to train your staff; by giving them space and time, with unobtrusive support, you are surely developing your successful young professionals of tomorrow. Our Landlord is selling our house so we need to find somewhere quickly, especially having two children it was a huge worry to find a location safe for them; whilst also quickly. If you are thinking about buying or selling your home, bairstow eves is the one to go for. Leo gave me a valuation last year but i wasnt ready to sell. Helena Jones who is the managing director of the branch sales team did a revised valuation in the current market and was extremely pleased. I have dealt with Owen over the phone over the last couple weeks and have felt nothing but excellent service worth 6 stars, but sadly 5 is the highest i could give. I always hated the time when it came to having to sell my family home as estate agents do not make you feel welcome yet I am the one who pays them.. never the less, bairstow eves has really changed my opinion and have been fantastic. It was a bit annoying that we didn't have the same mortgage advisor all the way through, as our first one left the company on us, then we had a second to finish off the purchase which never happened, but when we pulled out of that purchase and jumped into another one we ended up with Morta Kazenaite who was brilliant.
We just wish we could have had her as our mortgage advisor from the start as she was really proffesional, knew what she was talking about and got things done quickly.
If we hadn't have had Morta as our mortgage advisor, and had just had the other two then we would have left 2 stars, however with how great she was its 5 stars all round.
When we remortgage in 5 years time hopefully Morta will still be there to walk us through it.

After deciding to relocate to a whole new area, you can imagine how many letting agents we called, emailed or sent online enquiries.
I can honestly say after dealing with people, who either didn’t respond at all, were supposed to call us back, no responses to emails sent, it was so refreshing to find someone who genuinely cares about not only his job but the customers needs too!
Darryl was great during our first contact, he asked lots of questions to get a feel for what we really needed. He found us properties to view and kept in contact every step of the way. He would call unprompted, email when he said he would and have a fantastic service.
We met Darryl on Friday, to handover the property and again, he was thorough and even left us a lovely card. Once again, excellent service.
We even got a courtesy call on Saturday to see how we got on during our first night in the house.
We would 150% recommend Darryl and the team at Bairstow Eves, if you want an efficient stress free process.

Iv just moved into Belmont street, I couldn’t have had an easier time doing so with the help of Samantha mummery as my letting agent making things quick and easy, from start to finish, it was only a 3 week period to getting the keys to my new place, Samantha did an amazing job and I would highly recommend her.

The last two years with the lettings management team has been a shambles, resulting in us moving to a different letting agent we have used previously. Our apartment in Lincoln was 'managed' by Bairstows, for a sum of 10% of the monthly rent. Bairstows actually did very little for this fee resulting in us constantly chasing them up to carry out quarterly visits and late rental payments. We have also just found out that our tenant has family members living with her on a sole tenancy agreement, which Bairstows obviously had no idea of or werent doing their job properly. When living overseas we hoped the apartment would be in capable hands. Sadly this wasn't the case. There are other letting management businesses in Lincoln that I recommend people consider before using Bairstows.

Darryl brought us peace of mind and a smooth transition to our amazing flat. I decided to sell my house through Bairstow Eves after reviewing the competition and speaking with Robert who clearly has a wealth of invaluable experience & knowledge at his disposal. I didn't just want a 'buyer' at the right price, it was equally important to have the 'right buyer' to progress with the task at hand. Although It took almost 4 months (over a usually slow Winter period it has to be said) but then a relatively uncomplicated sale was agreed and completed in a little over 7 weeks. The entire team are highly competent and professional, Morta and Leo both deserve a particular mention too for their diligence & patience throughout. Well done to everyone! I have used several well known high street EA's over the years, but would have no hesitation in engaging once again with these guys in future.

I used the online system to sell my property and found it a simple and straightforward system to use, I was able to agree viewings and deal with offers I had on my property.
Prior to signing up to the portal I was given advice by Leo from the Lincoln branch and was also given support during the whole process
Would happily recommend the online system and would use it again for any future property sales I may be involved in.

We originally enquired about letting our home in Oct 2015, we had numerous letting agents and Alicja stood out from the start. She explained everything in English and really cared about us finding the right tenant for our home and gave us great confidence we could let our house quickly. She gave us some invaluable advice and we trusted her instantly. We knew we wouldn’t be able to let our house until the new year but Alicja kept in contact and always e-mailed when she said she would which is something we really value! In Feb we were in a position to market out property and Alicja came straight out to talk us through the process and take lots of pictures. Within a few days of going online we had two offers at full asking price. What we like about Alicja is she cares about her landlords but equally cares about her tenants and she did everything to help the tenants we chose we wanted to be able to move into our house on date which suited us and them. We couldn’t speak more highly of the service we have had from Alicja and would gladly recommended her and Bairstow Eve’s to anyone looking to rent out a property. She has made was could have been a very anxious time really calm and stress free!!!’

Alicia has been good from the start, helping us to get the house back onto the letting market, no job was too big or too small. She explained everything very concisely, and when we have problems (which we do) she is very quick to sort.
