We've been with BM for almost a year and unfortunately they have failed to sell our property. We've had a mixed experience with them in what is clearly a tough market. Their communication was very poor and took a lot of complaining from me before we received a weekly email and timely post-viewing reports. They did eventually achieve a low offer after 5 months on the market. They were helpful in trying to push the transaction through as quickly as possible, and it was not their fault that the transaction was aborted by the buyers. However, since that fell through their efforts have been underwhelming at best. They proposed a "relaunch" of the property online on Boxing Day, but this never happened due to what they admitted was their own oversight. They also confirmed they are unable to offer concrete statistics or insights - so, if they recommend a strategy to you, this will be the result of a hunch or anecdotal feedback, rather than data showing what works. They are a nice team, but 11 months in I think they just want us off their books. I would not work with them or another branch of BM again.

We originally bought our flat in Streatham through BM back in 2013. We were pleased with the service we received then so chose to use them again when it came to selling. James and his whole team (Michael, Nicholas and others) were professional and friendly throughout. The sale was not straightforward as our seller was very slow to respond to enquiries from our solicitor which delayed progress considerably. James and team were very helpful in coordinating solicitors and keeping both us and our buyer up to date. If we were to ever move back to the area we wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Wherever we move next, the positive experience of dealing with James and his team, would likely lead to us using others within the Sequence group.

Very tough market out there but that is no reflection of the efforts of the team at Barnard Marcus, who did an excellent job at getting people round to visit and following up with very prompt feedback. We previously used a competitor to market our property and their responsiveness wasn’t anything like Barnard Marcus.

James, Vivian and the rest of the team are proactive, sensible, quick to respond and straight talking, and we would recommend them to anybody looking to sell their home.

I was put in touch with Akill Patel at the start of my property journey when registering with the branch and given I was a first time buyer I was inexperienced and clueless to mortgages and the home buying process. He very clearly told me all my options in terms of mortgages and property, he also consistently went above and beyond to ensure I had the best deal and understood the process even with the legal work. He stayed in touch along the way and was always on hand to answer any questions I had - having seen numerous banks and mortgage advisers, none provided me with the same level of service as Akill due to his vast level of knowledge and due diligence. The team at this branch were very helpful and responsive at all times. We were first in contact with Marc Cox who listened carefully to what we were searching for in terms of our new home. He came back very quickly with recommendations and then further was able to book many viewings for us. He way always professional, not pushy and knowledgable. One of the houses Marc suggested as a wild card, was what we went for in the end! Marc was able to offer different types of advice throughout the buying process for us. A mention to Jill Parry and Amy for also assisting at the later stages too. A great team that we would firmly recommend using their services!

Great experience with James at Barnard Marcus Redhill.Always on the end of the phone and email when I needed him and really accommodating when I sprung a last minute viewing I needed to do with a builder on him,James went out of his way to make it happen even though I suspect it wasn’t very convenient,being such short notice.
The whole team at this branch is fantastic.
Very efficient and professional at all times.
I would definitely recommend this branch for a super easy,efficient and friendly service.
