Steven is a credit to Barnard Marcus estate agent. He’s professional, informative, friendly and posses’s a great personality always communicating with a smile. I found all the staff at Barnard Marcus extremely friendly, helpful and professional. This is true also of the Progress Team and the solicitors I was appointed. Everyone did a great job and I am extremely grateful to them all.
I am a woman on my own without a clue about how you move house and not very HiTech, but they made my experience of moving stress free because they were so supportive and always able and ready to assist!
I would certainly recommend them to others (already have, actually!)

I don't generally post reviews online, but will make an exception. Barnard Marcus, Thornton Heath Branch were absolutely amazing in the sale of my property. A big shout out to Romael Taylor and Jill Parry, for going extra mile & helping me with tasks I couldn't do due to being remove. Romael, thank you ever so much for going above and beyond, it's a real testimony to your dedication to the job. Also thank you to Steven Bakare & Danni Thorpe for being firm in the price negotiation with the buyers, much appreciated guys. Lastly, thanks to Tasha for convincing me to go with you guys, it was the best choice I could have done.
To anyone looking for an estate agent, these guys have been brilliant in every aspect and supported the sale of my property from start to finish, I would 100% recommend them.

Jill Parry was an absolute star in the exchange and completion of the sale process. I found her so approachable and her and assistance was invaluable particularly with getting information and meeting deadlines on key events. Jill was never tired of my enquiries, I probably spoke to her more than my solicitors at Muve UK. I would definitely recommend the team including Steven and Romael

Rebecca Southwell helped us in purchasing a property right from the scratch. We started working together around December 2022 and for almost a year Rebecca has supported us and as we were first time buyers she helped us understanding what moves are good and what are not. She even helped us in understanding what is key in buying a property. She goes the extra mile of doing background search on properties we were interested in and help us in understanding the pros and cons. It is only because of her we are now in the right place with our own home. Thank you Rebecca!

These agents will always push the buyer using their own mortgage broker . They will use the offers process to enable their selected buyers (using their mortgage broker) to make the highest offer. They will not then allow the other bidder to come back with a higher offer they will say the property has sold. Their priority is commission from the mortgage broking side of the business. They won't allow buyers to make an offer unless they have been through a financial assesment with their mortgage broker which is basically a pressure selling session.
Do not sell with these agents they cannot be trusted.

Recently sold my place via the Thornton Heath branch. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Natasha did the valuation which was open and honest. Danni organised an open house and a sale was agreed within a few days at really good price. Super efficient. When there were bumps in the road Romael stepped in to smooth things out.
Highly recommend this team ????

Barnard Marcus, Thornton Heath Branch were absolutely brilliant. Danny is professional, friendly and really helpful from the onset. He showed a keen attitude to progress the sale of my property, while also sending me properties that I might be interested in buying. I was very pleased with the entire process while my house was on their books. I also highly recommend Rebecca, their mortgage broker, who is equally social and provides a very professional service. I cannot fault the service they provide if you are looking to sell or buy a property ????. Thanks guys x
