Had a great experience finding a property thanks to the excellent staff here, especially Jasmin who was wonderful and a huge help!
Absolutely terrible experience purchasing a flat through these agents. They lied both to us and the seller at every turn, only concerned about extracting as much money as possible from both parties without actually doing the job they were being paid for. As other reviewers have mentioned, it seems to be standard practice for them to lie to buyers saying that the vendor has specifically requested the use of their in-house solicitors and mortgage broker (both of whom are terrible and caused numerous unnecessary delays to the sale). We have strong reason to believe that they illegally did not pass on the highest offer to the vendor because they did not agree to use their in-house services. Sellers, please steer clear!
The best experience I have ever had with an estate agent (as a prospective tenant). Extremely responsive and helpful communication from Georgina, who listened to all our requirements, and organised an extremely efficient day of viewing. She was very quick to respond to all our queries, and make the process as smooth as possible.
We were also very impressed and reassured by financial advice from Adam. Clear, friendly and helpful advice that left us feeling secure and well-prepared for the future. Very impressed to have this service from an estate agent.
Mine and my housemate's experience with Lauristons Wimbledon could not have been more disappointing. We contacted the agency to view a couple of properties and we were shown around by Georgina, who was lovely and very helpful, even when we wanted to view a property a second time. We decided to go for it and sign a contract, which contained some requests by us, and were agreed by the landlord. All the transactions and negotiation were done via the agency, we never contacted the landlord himself as we were never given his contact information and we were reassured by the agent that they would deal with everything for us.
Some of our requests included replacing broken cupboards and drawers in the kitchen, fixing a fence in the back garden, and removal of some items of furniture that we did not want and for which we did not have the space. To our surprise, upon arriving at the flat for our moving in, that these requests had not been met. In addition, the property manager to whom we were assigned (Talibah) is the most unprofessional person we have ever dealt with. Even though we had confirmation from 2 people within the agency that the furniture was going to be removed and the repairs were in our contractual demands, their response was that the landlord did not want the items removed and there was no time to do the repairs before we moved in. After our insisting, we were told a different version of the story in which there was a delay in clearing funds from the landlord as we was abroad and had sent a check. We were never informed of the non-conclusion of the repairs prior to our moving in. There was never any kind of intention to review the emails that had been exchanged between us and the agency to investigate who was wronged and where. I have sent several emails to the admin team and they only have a one-note reply: "the landlord does not want these items to be removed". I feel like we were lied to in order to sign a contract, and now that we are tied up for 2 years they can say whatever they want.
Long story short, it's been almost 4 months that we've been living in the flat and these requests are still pending. The kitchen cupboards have not been replaced yet and we still have some of our things in boxes. The fence in the back garden was boarded up by the neighbour from their side. The flat has been serving as a storage unit for the landlord's furniture.
Don't make the same mistake as we did and go somewhere else.
Bought a flat throughout KFH tooting branch, and they offered a
great service. Daniel was very professional and did a good job, he was very helpful throughout the process! Pleasure to use their service again.
Nathalie Navasothy is by far the worst person I have ever dealt with in estate agency! Everything she has said/done has been wrong from the start.
1.) Breaching data protection, by adding my flat mate into our email conversation which had my banks statements on!!!
2.) Saying the flat was fully furnished, which it wasn't.
3.) Getting the offer wrong on the offer form
4.) The old tenants are moving out on the Friday, so we can move in first thing on Saturday, that was wrong! Tenants are moving out on the Saturday so we have to wait.
Being the assistant manager, you think she could provide a better service, I would seriously avoid.
David and his team were superb! Highly efficient and professional. As a fellow agent but being on the other side of the transaction I was more than happy to let them take control and advise me accordingly.... in such a tricky market, I was delighted with the outcome and will continue to sing their praises..! H
James King - incompetent at best.
I have had two dealings with James King at Jacksons and both left me wondering how he manages to get away with it. Firstly when I was buying a property that the vendor had on with Jacksons, James convinced the vendor to put it back on the market when we were well into the process and waiting for the searches to come back. That move nearly cost the vendor a sale they badly needed.
Secondly on another property, James sent this 'URGENT' letter to me, saying that he was working in the area. If that's urgent James, I do worry.
When I went into the office to speak to him, his staff didn't have many good things to say about him.
I wouldn't trust the guy as far as I could throw him. If you're selling or buying, I would avoid Jacksons if I were you. You might lose a sale due to his arrogance.
Being brought up in Cambridge, city life had been a bit of a change but the dudes at City Realtor have been awesome guys to deal with. I've stayed with them for just under 2 years and so far they have been nothing but prompt and professional always. I've recommended them in the past to friends and would most certainly recommend again, for sure! London estate agents always get a bad rep but it's good to see an agency with high standards and integrity.
Really poor services. If you have a problem in the accommodation they will take weeks to fix it even after being persuaded daily.
They are NOT communicating between each other even though it is a family business. They have really ridiculous fees for the really poor services they offer. If you don't believe it try and search more reviews on google, most of the people are complaining.
Michael and Leigh are simply a cut above most estate agents, delivering a first class service from start to end these gentlemen sold my house when I had four other well known high street estate agents who failed to meet the mark.Truuli in my opinion offer a fantastic service because they are hard working professionals who are committed to delivering a high standard of service to their clients.
Many thanks Michael and Leigh keep up the excellent work.I highly recommend anyone who needs an estate agent to look no further , I am 100% convinced you will not get a better service off any other agent.
The service offered by Michael and Leigh was very good and I was truly (no pun intended) impressed with the level of detail that they gave to my purchase and the level of their communication was excellent!!! Well done gentlemen keep up the hard work.
