We were pleased to have chosen Blundell to handle the sale of our house. We found Paul and his team very professional and helpful throughout the process, most of our contact with them was through Sarah who was very friendly on the phone and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely recommend using Blundells. However, the missing star is down to them recommending Wosskow Brown Pennine Law to see us through the process. By all means use Blundells but politely decline the recommendation of WB Pennine law. It will save you from months of frustration.

I would never recommend anyone to let through Blundells. They charged me a £500 reletting fee and did not re-let the property. I’ve tried contacting them several times but no one ever calls back. Only interested if they’re taking money from you!

Had a chat about renting a property, although it didn't end up me renting a property - not at least the one I enquired on. Staff were polite and courteous, which you'd expect. What I didn't expect but valued tremendously was the staff's honesty. Rather than giving me information I wanted to hear, I was told information I needed, even though that ultimately meant I didn't need to use their service. Refreshing to see a letting agency putting people and their needs first.

Currently selling our home & purchasing neither through Blundells. The experience so far has been absolutely amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and my questions are always answered! Katie Cox has been fantastic at selling our home, on the market within a week and she managed to sell within 4 days. Katie Frith has been also dealing with us and showing us around the new home we're purchasing. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she's just been wonderful to deal with. Caitlin Taylor has been helping with some questions I've had whilst both Katie's are busy, she's been just as amazing. Mick within the mortgages services is just lovely. Informative, polite and thorough with his work. I honestly cant recommend blundells enough. I'm so so glad we picked them, I 100% recommend. You will NOT be disappointed!!

Please read in full...... Polite staff in branch. Maintenence is terrible 2 leaks no plumber called on both occcasions...NO INVENTORY DONE..... Simply because they dont care its not their home!!! They will switch your energy provider for commision even when your moving back into property. Not to a good supplier either but again no one cares because they wont have to dispute bills from energy supplier.
Kerrie has a professional attitude shame this was not the case when I asked for help regarding the switching of energy provider but it wasnt her on the phone for 10 hours but she doesnt care.
The staff in branch too all have been more than helpful until I was moving back in.
Blundells also said the tenant was keeping it in good shape looked like a crack den to me.....

I'm trying to get away from domestic violence and i decided the property wasn't far enough. I had to wait nearly 5 days to be told i won't get my deposit back. I'll just magic another deposit from my a÷£@ shall I. Blundells are TRASH and finley isn't helpful either !!!!!!

Brilliant Service from start to end .I must say if any issue or hurdle comes in just let them know and they will sort out for you .I rented property and all gas / electricity / council tax and water accounts handled by them .Arranged cleaning from my house far cheaper than market.Arranged insurance quotes and all to be honest.Didnt feel that I have done anything TBH.Management is superb .Thanks Kerrie Parrish for your support and all management team .

Only gave one star so I could post review. Not sure what they are like when buying, but my daughter and her partner have experienced terrible customer service when renting a property through the team at Wickersley office. From wrong keys being given when moving in, to Blundells not being able to give them access to the meters to take readings and then still waiting 2 weeks on for the intercom to be mended. Plus coming into a property that obviously hadn't been checked as there was blood on tissues under the sink. Blundells have given my daughter excuse after excuse,not even one apology and have been very condescending. What should have been a special moment, moving into your first property together has been spoilt by Kerri and her team for showing no understanding, not explaining or even dealing with complaints in a timely manner. Thanks a lot!!!

They will never fix anything big or small, they will pass the buck, blame the landlord etc. They have no respect or care for their clients. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else

However, we came across a property which was being managed by Blundell's (Wickersley branch) and instantly we were given the treatment we would expect. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Mason Ward is a very rude young man who is incredibly sanctimonious and ill educated, he advised me to leave my standing order in place so that they could give me a pro rata refund after my tenancy ended. This was not the case and I was left £500 down for two weeks while they organised the refund. Mason now denies that he said this but I have email evidence from him that he did. Terrible service.
The house we rented had to he visited by maintenance people including plumbers and gas engineers many, many times over our 14 month tenancy due to it being in a terrible state of repair.
I wasn’t shown any up to date photo’s before I moved in and the “professional” cleaners needed to clean the house before our arrival (because the house was so disgusting) never even turned up so we had to do it ourselves.
I could go on but I refuse to waste any more of my time with these wasters.

Market and sold the house quickly but that is where is stopped, very infrequent communication if any from Luke, I’m still waiting on a call back from April. Complained to country wide who think it is acceptable to state that blundellls call the solicitors 30 times, but only updated us 9 times in 6 months. Most of the times they chased the solicitors it was via email with rarely any calls as didn’t stay on hold long enough to speak to anyone. 6 months to complete a sale with a vacant house with no chain, only went through to due us and the buyers pushing our solicitors. Told Luke to stop contacting us with pointless information that we already had as we chose to by pass Blundells to get updates as left to them, I’m sure we would have a failed sale. Oh, but they took their £1800 commission for doing the bare minimum

I have sent 3 emails and called then twice about renting several properties in the Rotherham area and no 9ne got back to me (about 2 weeks I waited) luckily reeds rains are responsive and I'm in the application process with them, I understand business but losing possible move-ins and new tenants is not great practice. Blundells have been absolutely amazing ! they have been extremely helpful and are always prepared to go the extra mile! Naz, Paul, Lucy & Zoe have gone out of their way to help us sell our property and go on to buy another one (even though our new property is not on sale with Blundells). What can I say ? Paul Williamson of Blundells branch at The Tanyard Wickersley came to see me on Monday and my Mum's old house was sold 3 days later !!! Even before the photographer had been to the property Paul and his marketing team were contacting people on their mailing list. It was obvious from the start that Blundells knew the market in Rotherham and their professionalism impressed me from the start. Add to that the fact that Paul is also (as my old mum used to say) "A really nice bloke"

I have been letting my property with the Rotherham branch for over 3 years now and I can honestly say that I could not be happier with the service I receive. I live in London so I had to put all my faith and trust in Rebecca on our very first meeting which I am so pleased I did now. They not only work in the best interest of the landlord they also do the very best they can for the tenets as well. Maggie is my go to person for my property and when see calls me (which is not very often only when there is a problem) I know I am in safe hands with her and I will not be taken for a ride where contractors are concerned. Maggie ensures all work from the contractors she provides for me is completed to a high standard before signing anything off. The whole team were fully engaged from the start of the process , my main contacts being Zoe , Lucy and Sarah , ( Sarah and Lucy being more involved in the later stages of the sale)
The sale was not an easy one with multiple buyers dropping out for various reasons , but the team at Wickersley never lost their enthusiasm and made many journeys to the empty property to show people round , which did a lot to ease the stress of the situation .
Sarah and Lucy dealt professionally with all the twists and turns of the circumstances and engaged fully with solicitors , buyer and myself , resulting in a successful conclusion.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE. We had our property up for sale and found the perfect property up with Blundells Rotherham. We made two viewings and dealt with Paula who advised us to make an ‘offer of intent’. This basically meant that we would be informed of any other offers that came in before they were accepted giving us the opportunity to respond. We accepted a slightly lower offer on ours in order to proceed with the purchase, however when we contacted Blundells to make our bid they informed us that the property had sold a week ago! Paula explained that sadly there was nothing she could do and we would have to find somewhere else!
We subsequently got involved ourselves with the seller directly and after being given the opportunity by them to increase our offer we finally got our perfect home without any input from Blundells Rotherham.
They DO NOT get the most for your home, and they DO NOT inform the seller of further offers on the table. Their aim is to gain a really quick sale in order to claim their unusually high commission and any increased offers would just delay their monies and inconvenience them.
THERE ARE FAR BETTER COMPANIES CHARGING LESS THAN HALF AS MUCH.

Will never use them again and will be advising family and friends to do the same. Our seller worked here and used her position at this estate agent, who were selling the property, to deliberately cover up serious, hazardous damage. Disgusting lack of professionalism and we're appalled that Blundells allowed this to happen. Atrocious!

I just wanted to take a minute to say how delighted I am with the outstanding service that I have received from the staff at Blundell's; they have really exceeded my expectations. I initially put our property on the market with ELR, but quickly realised that I had made a mistake and that the property was not in good hands. I moved from ELR and the difference was vast, it was night and day. I was assigned a sales consultant who called me every 2-3 days with updates and walked me through every step of the process. The sale happened quickly, but the service didn't end there, I continue to receive calls and updates with regards to the progress of the sale with solicitors and the buyers.
Thank you for a brilliant service, I will recommend you to everyone.

All the staff were professional, friendly and helpful .The fact that I live in Australia added to the degree of difficultly but it didn't phase Blundell's staff.They kept me fully informed and up to date throughout the sale process and I was confident in their actions.
