These guys are amazing. We had a vague idea of downsizing and went to look at a flat which turned out to be not quite what we wanted. But Carly, who had quickly got the length of us, immediately suggested we look at a bigger property which we would never have though of viewing without her input. As soon as we walked into it it felt exactly right - brilliant location, exactly the right size for our visiting family, near the shops, lovely bright rooms. Incredibly, the people who lived there expressed an interest in our own house, eventually resulting in our doing a straight out house swap. It was not without problems, (none of them to do with BFL,) but Mark who handled both our sale and our purchase was a total legend, chasing up solicitors and offering support and help wherever humanly possible. It was quite unexpected to stumble on a house agent who would give such service and be so willing to go the extra mile.
We are now installed in our beautiful new home and very happy indeed. Thank you all at BFL and especially Mark, we can't recommend you too highly.

Bradshaw Farnham & Lea are constantly over valuing properties for sale in West Kirby, Hoylake and Caldy. Trying constantly to push prices to an artificially high level. There are always countless BFL properties on portals such as Zoopla and Rightmove that have been reduced in price following the absurd initial valuations and marketing prices given by BFL. I know of several sales that have fallen through because a mortgage valuer has not agreed with the ridiculous valuations given to properties by BFL West Kirby. Yes, the market has been buoyant and prices have increased but these guys are out to artificially inflate the local market prices to make more in fees. At the end of the day they assist nobody in the long run. Should be ashamed.

I used to be an estate agent, so i am very experienced in the sale and purchase of houses. Right from the start, all staff have been very professional. Photographs of my house were lovely, a good floorplan (Which is important to show your house at its best), Feedback from viewings was obtained quickly and an acceptable offer was achieved quickly, despite being in lockdown! Jess the sales progresser was patient, calm and reassuring throughout the difficult process of accepting an offer to exchange of contracts. Some agents may be able to get you an offer quickly but disappear when the next stage of the sales journey proceeds, not Bradshaw Farnham and Lea! They are there for you all the way! After speaking to Carly, the very friendly, professional and helpful assistant manager at the West Kirby branch, she made things much clearer and recommended I speak to their financial advisor Jon for further advice. Initially I had some concerns over the way in which I was treated by BFL but after raising these concerns with the office manager, Ricki Roberts, I was shown the respect and courtesy I felt I deserved. I think most customers just ask they they are properly considered and given the attention and respect they deserve and as a whole, this has shown to be true. So, my initial negative experience has turned into a positive one.

The most traumatic and horrendous experience imaginable! I'm still recovering from the stress that the team there caused me! If I had known in advance as to how they would treat me I would never have gone there! If it was'nt for Emma rescuing my sale and helping me at the last minute then my sale would have fallen through!

These guy know how to milk you & your landlords for cash on the letting side of the business (they are Part of the venmore group). Read the small print 1) Should you become a periodic tenant (after your initial agreement i.e 6 months ), your rent will be increased by 5% as per your original tenancy agreement so no rolling contract unless you want your rent to rise by 5%. 2) We make a nominal administration charge of £60 inc. VAT for a fixed term
renewal. So if that's every 6 months then that's £120 a year they also charge the landlord every time for this as well. watch out hidden fees everywhere !!!!
Just an update: The Tenant Fees Act will come into force on 1st June 2019. So they are trying to renew all tenancy agreement which fall after that date now! if your renewal fall after June 2019 wait & ask for the charge to be removed. If you are looking to move into one of the properties you will be quids in if you can wait till June!

Arranged a viewing of a property we are interested in buying which was cancelled 1 minute before we arrived after driving 45 minutes to see. Excuse was clearly a lie as it would mean noone could ever access the property and the agent wasnt at the house as we arrived and they put the phone down. Incredible waste of time.

I asked several estate agents, including Bradshaw Farnham and Lea to appraise a house. I received a spread of valuations but only the BFL seemed to be realistic. Not only that but they made several helpful suggestions about what might, and might not, be worth doing to improve the sale prospects. They suggested that the marketing should start on a particular date and my wife and I then went on holiday. A firm offer was made within the week which, of course, made the holiday! The transaction then went smoothly to completion. We were particularly pleased that BHS took note of all our wishes and were very helpful at all stages of the sale. We would definitely use their services again.

To -- Bradshaw, Farnham, Lea:
I had a good experience with your company, both when we were buying and also selling the property. You always returned my calls quite promptly, and your office answered my questions.
There is one very important thing, I feel all Real Estate companies in England should change. In Canada, when I am to view properties I wish to buy, my Realtor ALWAYS picks me up in his car and the two of us spend the day looking at different properties. This is done for days and even weeks until the right property is found. I was told by your office, this was not done because your insurance does not cover me. GET BETTER INSURANCE COVERAGE. In Canada, when everything is agreed upon, the paper work is all finished in approximately 3 days. In England it takes many weeks. When I was leaving Canada to live in England, it took me 5 days to sell my home in Canada. It took you almost 3 months to sell my Flat in England. Why does everything move so slow in England?
When I come to Hoylake this Spring, I will come by your office to say hello. Doris and I enjoyed our Flat in Hoylake very much, and I am looking forward to my visit to see my many friends.
