The best service I've had when it comes to renting in my 9 years of experience!
The only agency I've been with for more than a year and with good reason. Extremely helpful and quick to react any and every time I needed help or something went wrong.

The initial review was amended due to the fact that this company unnecessarily took my money. Despite my efforts to introduce a tenant to my property and my request for an early vacation from the property, instead of facilitating the introduction, they charged me almost $600 for advertising. Furthermore, even though the property was already clean, they deducted $120 for third-party cleaning services. It is truly disappointing how they took advantage of our funds, especially considering I paid almost $17,000 upfront to rent the property. I cannot recommend them to anyone.

Mr. Jay is a very helpful person. He went out of the way to help, like he worked on saturday upto late hrs and patiently assisted me to find solution and also he made himself available on his Sunday holiday untill the issue was resolved and finally he had to open his office to complete the formalities and hand over keys.

Dispite a phone call to remind them, they never appeared for my viewing. Their office is less than a mile away from the property I wanted to view! At first contact they seem slick and efficient but this is because they use a call centre in Scotland. The people in the Southampton office are just rubbish.

Century21 seems to be our primary and first contact for tenant during property search. So it would be nice before dealing with the renting property, beforehand it’s nice to know the condition of the property so that tenant won’t face any problem during their tenancy.
Post discussing with Jay, I understand there are few things beyond the control of agents. So I can’t blame for them.
But I really acknowledge that I had a very good experience with Century21 and I appreciate your dedication in satisfying the customer expectations.

When I moved to Southampton from South Africa finding accommodation was so hard. After so many attempts somehow I requested a booking with Century 21. Jay showed us the property and I fell in love with the property. The way Jay and his team made my moving to this property really lifted a heavy burden off my shoulder. They were so patient with me and they went out of the way to make sure that I have settled. Jay was hands on. What amazed me was that I got the property a day before the bank holiday but the team worked even during the bank holiday to make sure that I move in within 2 working days. Do not use this agent!!!!! We had put down a holding deposit on a house which then throughout the whole contract process they decided to keep changing the move in date, the price of the rent, cancelling contracts and sending new ones and getting told different things by different agents. Ended up pulling out of the house due to personal issues and was told we’d get the holding deposit back and upon calling to ask what was going on with it, the lady was very rude and passive and proceeded to hang up on me whilst I was still talking. Would not recommend to anyone as it has just been an awful experience

I can not thank the team enough to save my Christmas. My electric went off on Christmas Day. I called the emergency number and Jay came out within 20 minutes to turn the electric on and showed me what to do if it happens again. Century21 is helpful up until the point when you sign your lease and then they say "any issues bring it up with your landlord we are not responsible" when in reality the letting agents do have some legal obligation depending on their contract with the landlords, ex. both have an obligation to provide homes that meet health and safety standards. Would have given 3 stars if they were honest upfront and if they handled complaints about the landlords not keeping up their half of the legal agreement.

I've used Century 21 for tenant finding services and property valuations for a number of years now and the staff are super friendly have been brilliant throughout the process each time. Jay has always provided excellent customer service and always contacted me when he said he would.
This isn't like the other estate agents down the road who are after your money, the staff listen to your needs and offer the most suitable service. I will always use Century 21 for any property service.

I really recommend using Century 21 if you're looking for somewhere to live. Many other estate agents that I looked into were quite lazy. Century 21 respected my time and managed to get me into my property quicker than expected.

We found a 7 bedroom Student house through Century 21 with the help of Jay. He was extremely professional and communicative. He was able to drive us between different houses during viewings, but never showed us a house beyond our price bracket.
There was never any attempt to gloss over flaws with the properties, in fact Jay suggested improvements to the property as we were viewing it, which he was happy to contractually include in our tenancy agreement. He was happy to let us chat with existing tenants in the property and addressed the negatives they described about the property.
Jay was happy to send us a draft tenancy agreement weeks before us having to sign so that we could scrutinise any points we wanted.
He also promptly provided us details of the deposit protection scheme used.
When we moved into the property (5 months after the viewing) it was horrific, hence the dropped stars. Lots of promises were made by Jay, but he hadn't had a look at the property or checked that the landlord had done these things. After complaining Jay implied I was being unreasonable and to give the landlord 2 weeks to sort this stuff out - THREE MONTHS LATER, after lots of correspondence, nagging, phone calls and hours and hours of cleaning it was habitable. We received no rent compensation.
The only reason I gave 3 stars was because Jay still tried to help get the landlord to fix these issues, lots of letting agents would have left us to it, so I respect him for that.

Recomand cu incredere " Century 21" deoarece sunt pe deplin multumita pentru profesionalismul, punctualitatea, exactitatea si priceperea de care au dat dovada in rezolvarea cererii mele ( Jay si Anastasia) ! Mi-a placut ca au inteles exact ce am cerut, nu m-au plimbat inutil ( asa cum am mai patit-o ulterior cu alte agentii)!
