Pearsons is a great company, they have helped us selling our house despite of our type of property was in low demand. We had instructed other agencies previously, but despite the high number of viewings we received no offer. Also, we had a large number of last minute cancellations. Things changed with Pearsons, we had the right people viewing the property and we received feedback from each viewing, which we didn't with other companies. We are very satisfied.

Recently rented a flat thru Pearsons. Gone thru a lot of letting agency. I've been rejected couple of times but the guys at Pearson's helped me find a suitable property to rent. Im really happy, especially my Wife and Son who Recently joined me here in UK, with the flat they offered. Nice and Quiet area. Ms. Alison and Mr. Sid has been a very helpful and good agent explaining the in's and outs of renting. For you guy's out there looking for a place, drop by their place and they'd be really helpful!

I was not even Pearsons client, I was just the buyer of a property Pearsons was marketing. However, the service I received from them, and Gina Matthews in particular, was absolutely outstanding. Throughout the whole sale and purchase process, I received regular progress updates from Gina whilst there was a complete absence of anything from the agent I was paying! We can't recommend Southampton's Pearsons enough. We were so fortunate to have Olivia as our Sales Progressor. Olivia was exceptional in every sense. The whole process was meant to be straightforward, but as can happen, there were ups and downs. Olivia's input was invaluable and we don't think we would have got through the last six months without her. She was an absolute star, a consummate professional, without whom we are not sure we would have gotten to where we are today. We can't recommend Pearsons, and in particular Olivia.

All I wanted was to view a property to rent…
And unfortunately I feel like I was lied about it…
The advert was posted on Friday noon.
I have called them 2 times that day and sent one email. They said they will call me back the same day, but nothing happened, nobody called back or emailed.
So I called again on Saturday morning.
A Female staff member took my details again and said that today Is the day that they are taking bookings to see the property.
The viewings were arranged for Monday noon only, that Monday noon is the only day that the viewings will be held.
So “that’s great” I said, please book me for 12:45pm Monday! After 10 minutes, I have received an email with the confirmation of the viewing.
On Monday morning at about 10:30am, I’m receiving a phone call from the office asking if I’m still going ahead with the viewing!!
I said yes, certainly I will be there.
After ONLY 15 minutes, I have received a strange email saying that my viewing was cancelled.
Called the office again and surprise!! Nobody could answer my question, apparently all the telephone lines were busy and there was NOBODY who could help me.
But of course I was assured by senior staff member that someone will call me back within 5-10min.
It was 2 hours before my viewing…
An hour passed and I still haven’t received any answers why my viewing was cancelled.
I had to call them again, as I was about to leave my house for that viewing, and there was their answer:
“Oh yeah, property is NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR RENT, as we have accepted an offer over the weekend, sorry”
Now… I was told viewings are done on Monday only, so it looks like they have accepted an offer from someone who has not seen the property OR they just give it away to someone who must be their friend or relative ( must have had some kind of connections with them) or simply they have shown it to someone they know on Friday or Saturday ( on the day of posting the advert or just next day).
I have taken an OFF work day to see the property.
I’m basically shocked how was I dealt with.
The staff was rude and absolutely disrespectful. Did not care whatsoever for their actions and there was absolutely nobody who could explain why this happened.
I think they lie to potential clients from the minute they start talking to you.
It seems that they choose and select who will be dealing with.
If you are not English or your accent is not good enough then forget about it!!! That is my impression.
I will tell my story and share my experience and thoughts about this agent with everybody who is going to be interested in renting with them.
I am very disappointed and will never call them again.

All over during the whole process the Pearsons were supporting us. We bought our very first home with them. Everything went really planned and fast. Matt came with us for the viewing and in the first two weeks he was our contact person with the vendors, he was always very nice.
After a couple of weeks Olivia took care our case. We couldn`t ask for a better, kinder, conscientious person. She was always available, staright away answered for our call, e-mail and all the time kept informing us. Olivia is a treasure to the company!

Booked a viewing on a house Saturday. Asked to do a second viewing Monday. Was told this would be arranged. No viewing arranged. Rang Monday to ask what was going on. They apologised and viewing made. Offered asking price. Told vendor wanted time to think about it as had another similar offer. Would have answer next day. Chased up next day and was told decision would be made next morning. Midday next morning rang and asked what was happening. No one would tell us. House then came up on Rightmove as Sold subject to Contract. Rang again. Informed they were just about to ring us to tell us we had missed out. Service appalling.

Following a phone call we were offered what amounted to excuses that frankly insulted our intelligence with what barely passed as an apology. No attempt to rearrange the viewing.

We bought a house through Pearsons and were shown different properties by Simon Dawson. Simon was always kind and helpful with the different properties, and felt he had a clear understanding of what we were looking for as well, making the experience of house viewing a lot more comfortable and easy. We decided tobuy a house during the pandemic and the lockdown, and Pearsons had clear and simple guidelines, which made it comfortable to enter peoples’ houses consideringthe circumstances. Simon also went through the guidelines and even though restricted managed to show the houses very well and still ensured everyone felt safe.
After our offer had been accepted, Gina took care of the aftersale, making sure the process was flowing, following up with our own estate agent (sales of our house) and ensuring the sale went as smoothly as possible. We had a truly great experience working with Pearsons Estate. Whenever we fancy moving again we would most likely choose Pearsons to list our property due to their professionalism but also personal touch.

I found Pearsons Estate Agents very professional from the very first meeting all the way through to the selling of my property. They were excellent with their communication and i never had to contact them once with needing any information as they were always very proactive and made sure i was fully aware of the process. Simon Dawson sold my property in 1 day (after the first viewing!!), unfortunately due to no fault of Pearsons (buyers personal reasons) this did not continue. I was obviously disappointed. Simon and Gina then both worked really hard to find me another buyer very quickly. I am pleased to say i have now sold the property and myself and my family look forward to moving to our new home. I have been looking for a house for several months and dealt with many estate agents who have been really frustrating and under hand however not Pearsons! Very professional, honest and quick to respond. Liz in the Sales team was particularly outstanding (went above and beyond!) and Sam was great at taking our offer and negotiating. I would only use Pearsons in the future if I needed to sell!

Very happy with the service we received from Pearsons (Southampton) who sold our Highfield property. We had 12 viewings in less than a week which resulted in 4 offers, one over the asking price. The brochure was spot on and needed very little tweaking (Craig did an amazing job with the photos). Everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional, helpful and polite; and they dealt with all enquiries quickly and efficiently. They always had good advice and helped us through an occasionally bumpy sale/purchase. I would specifically like to name-check Craig, Mari and Gina. We are so pleased to have chosen Pearsons to market the sale of our house. Even though we initially had the usual temptation to go for the cheaper, fixed price options (Yopa, Purple Bricks etc.), the quality of photos, experience, contacts and professionalism by Craig helped us achieve a higher offer than other agents said was possible, more than justifying the slightly increased cost.
Once offers were secured, Gina was fantastic at communicating and advising us throughout the process, pushing things along at a really good pace and keeping us up-to-speed whilst liaising on our behalf throughout the whole chain. Her calm head was also definitely appreciated!
This was the first house we've sold but, although it was initially quite daunting, I am so glad we chose Pearsons who have made the whole as easy as possible. Thanks very much to Craig & Gina in particular.

Extremely lazy run letting agent!
I called to book a viewing on a property that was uploaded to there site for 10mins, only to be told that this property was currently unavailable for viewings until mid August, I then proceeded to explain to the him my circumstances and that my interest in this property is genuine and that I'd like to view this asap, I was then told too leave it with him as he's sure he could twist there arm to get me a viewing, it's now 4 days later so I called the agents back and spoke to another agent only to be told that this property has now been Let!
I then proceeded to explain to the young woman my concerns as I was under the impression that I was valued and I gave all of my details for them to contact me, she then proceeded to tell me that it's first come first serve so unlucky!!
I will never use this poor excuse for a business and I urge everyone to make sure you try every other agent before you use these clowns.

Very disappointed with the service I have received from Pearsons. Sending multiple emails to no response and then having to call three times to try and get some information on a property just to find out that the property had already gone. staff (not all) were unprofessional and in one instance quite rude... The company looks very nice and professional from the offset, shame the level of customer service doesn't live up to that!

Slow communication they give appointments so late, the female manager is rude and talks to people like they dont exist. Her tone on the phone is like she cant be bothered to work there. I would never sell a property with them.When they say they ll call you back they never do. You have to chase them up all the time and by that time the properties are sold.

We recently rented a house from Pearsons and were assisted by the lovely Nicola Jeffries who was friendly, enthusiastic and really responsive to any questions or issues we had. My housemate was travelling New Zealand while we were sorting out viewings and contracts and everyone was brilliant at allowing for time differences, delays and general difficulties associated with trying to rent a house while living in a hostel on the other side of the world!
Both Nicola and her manager (Not sure of his name) were also very supportive regarding issues with potential reference checks due to one of us being an agency worker. Both of them bent over backwards to help us move into our house and we couldn't be happier with it. Nicola has continued to be in touch to help with any issues we've had and check that we are settling in well.

Nicola at Pearsons made finding a property (at very short notice) and understanding the tenanting world, for a first time renter, a breeze.
She was at the end of the phone when needed and stayed in communication throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to ensure I secured the property I wanted within my preferred timescales and I simply couldn't have done it without her. I cannot recommend Pearsons enough!

In the last 5 years, I have bought and sold a property with Pearsons, Southampton and have found them to be excellent on both occasions. Their fees for selling are competitively priced, staff friendly and their communication was clear when booking viewings of my property.
I have repeatedly been impressed with their after-sales team. In my most recent experience, Pearsons were able to obtain a 'missing' document from my housing management company using their prior contacts, something that the initial department at the housing company, along with both sets of solicitors were unable to produce.
I have now moved out of the area, but would happily use Pearsons again if I were to buy/sell in Southampton.

Not the best service. Abysmal on completion day. Couldn't even get out of their chair to give me the keys. Moving home is supposed to be one of the most glorious days in a persons life - certainly showed they don't give a personal service! No handover, no welcoming card, nothing. (2018)

One of the best estate agents around. I used Pearsons for my recent Ocean Village flat sale, I was impressed by the professionalism shown throughout the process, from the initial marketing, through to the viewings, which resulted in two offers, ultimately leading to the sale of my property. Pearsons also facilitated the process with the solicitors, keeping things moving right through to completion. I'd be very happy to use Pearsons again.
