I had the worst experience of my life with them and Featherstone Leigh , my son has a permanent asthma and breathing issue from the flat they have rented me. I was not able to stay in the flat for over two months , no alternative was offered to me and my family, being homeless due to the smell of damp, water leak has costed me a lot of money and stress.
Useless team all they care about is their rent it be paid , they have breached their contract on so many occasions, they failed . Do not get fooled by those good reviews!

We moved into a property in the area and it was a complete shambles. After speaking to George Porter at Chestertons, we were assured it would be fully furnished, but when we arrived, furniture promised in the flat, such as a sofa, was simply not there when we arrived due to previous tenants taking it with them. We were offered a small compensation amount, and when we spoke to Hannah Al-Sayyah Marla and explained it did not simply cover the costs, she threatened to hold the money they offered.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I am a woman in her seventies & therefore very analogue in my outlook. Being faced with, what seemed to me, a mountain of digital paperwork was daunting. We had a very positive experience working with Chestertons Kew on purchasing a property in the area. We primarily interacted with Lizzy who was always a delight to chat to, proactive and expert at advising on keeping the process moving. As with many others this year, we were working to a relatively tight deadline given the stamp duty holiday, but we managed to get everything completed in time. I can highly recommend Chestertons! I have worked with a few letting agencies but this experience really stood out. My agent, Jasmine Birungi went out of her way to answer all of my questions promptly, and supported me throughout the process with a smile. Chestertons operates a portal to upload and store documents, see where you are & what tasks you have, which makes it seamless. The move-in went similarly well, with ample communication on availabilities and all.

I just moved to London and I can say that I was very lucky to find Chestertons Kew during this process. Jack Burnett was my estate agent, he provided a high-level service, always responsive, and quick to resolve any pending issues. Having dealt with a few estate agents over the years I cannot recommend Lizzy and Daniel at Chestertons enough.
The property sold within 1 day of it going online and had many offers and everything was simple. I think the biggest compliment I can pay to these guys is it was easy for me and I had little to do.
They have handled a long distance sale for me and have continually gone above and beyond. Due the current situation they have handled everything for me in style and handled any issues along the way exceptionally well.
Both Daniel and Lizzy are so easy to work with and have made the sale actually quite a pleasure despite the stresses and issues that come with a house sale.
As I mentioned I honestly cannot recommend Chestertons and in particular Daniel and Lizzy enough. And I cannot thank them enough either.

The agency placed a sold sign outside my property (obviously by mistake) it was there for nearly 4 months despite calling on many occasions to remove it. When I finally decided to speak to a manager I was asked if I was sure it was a Chestertons sign! He told me someone would collect it that day. Of course they didn’t so I had to take it down to the office myself as I was sick of neighbors asking about the sale of my house!?! Extremely unprofessional

Chestertons in Kew and Richmond have recently concluded the sale of our Richmond house. We interviewed many agents but really appreciated the thoughtful approach and early commitment to our sale that Daniel demonstrated. All the negotiators involved from the Kew and Richmond offices were professional from the start, putting in the effort to 'know the house'. They were efficient and courteous, and all the interactions we had with them were both informative and enjoyable. From the many viewings they achieved, to handling the offers, to guiding the process from offer to exchange to completion - everything proceeded in a stress free manner. I recently had a valuation completed on my property by the Director of Chestertons Kew. He was an incredibly bright chap who had a real understanding of the local market. He knew i wasn't going to sell my property, but nonetheless was very thorough going about his work. Within a couple of days i had my market appraisal and was delighted with the information provided. One can't help notice the amount of Community Work that Chestertons are doing with local schools and the local rugby club, London Welsh. I have no hesitation in recommending them in the future.

All I have to say about the company and more about the customer service (you Ashleigh and your colleague) from beginning to end has been just excellent. You listened to my needs, got back to me with some difficult choices to make as they were spot on and your first choice was actually, well what can I say, just excellent as this is where my family and I live now and we are really enjoying the place.
You have also been following up all the way through and helping me out getting all that paperwork done.
I work in a customer service driven industry and what makes our business successful and you have all it takes. You deserve to be looked after whatever it is you wish for.

Chesterton's are an excellent organisation to deal with. In particular my review relates to the generous financial support they have provided in the community - to one of the local schools. I would also highlight that Chesterton's support a number of other local schools with fundraising and also sponsor other community, charity and not for profit initiatives. Their warm involvement and engagement with the local community is reflective of their general culture and ethos in their dealings - warm, welcoming and friendly.

I worked with Daniel, Paul and the team who were extremely professional, tenacious & always kept me updated as things progressed. It's imperative for me to work with a team that are action orientated, dedicated to my cause and deliver on their promises and this is exactly what they did. I'm not the easiest of clients to work for as I'm detailed orientated and set high goals and have high expectations and on all accounts Chestertons Kew delivered. With Laura (Office Manager) keeping the team in check and paperwork coming out when needed, they were great. Would I work with them again? ...... Yes, without a doubt. Would I recommend them..... Yes, if you want a professional team, who know their local market extremely well and deliver sales. They're a great asset to Chestertons and to the area of Kew.

I first met Daniel when he helped me purchase a property in Kew a couple of years back. He was most helpful. I then subsequently met Alex and the rest of the Lettings team, who helped me rent out 2 properties in RECORD time! They had it let out before the paperwork was signed, whilst other competitive well known agents only bothered to follow up literally 3 weeks later.

Been searching for a flat in Richmond/Kew area for over 5-years, through a variety of estate agents. Finally had success buying a flat in Kew last December, through Chesterton.
The process was complicated for a variety of reasons, as most London transactions are, but throughout Chestertons were positive and creative, finally getting us over the line.
All the staff were helpful, but Daniel Killick the Branch Director deserves special mention.
Very highly recommended.

I am a conveyancing partner and come across hundreds of estate agents every year. I don't normally write reviews but I wanted to mention two worthy people. Daniel Killick and Zachary Scott of Chestertons in Kew. From the very beginning they were informative on pricing. Got it just right. Some agents overprice to get the deal and others who don't understand the local market price it too low. They were proactive too and chased other parties when they had to. They made the transaction very smooth and were also there to pick up my call or email. They were good at updating too when needed, without hassling. Spot on. Well done guys. Chestertons, these two are a credit to your brand.

Daniel, Alex and Josh have been a pleasure to deal with.
Looking for a move to Kew, I purchased a one bed flat with Daniel Killick, Branch Director. As it was my first property purchase I had endless questions, all of which Daniel answered without hesitation. The sale went through smoothly and Daniel even did some chasing up on his own time when there was a mix-up with the keys.
Unfortunately I had to move abroad for work so decided to rent the flat. The rental part was handed over to Alex Eady who was equally as helpful and managed to secure a fantastic tenant. A year and a half on everything is running like clockwork, and I still have the odd chat with Daniel and Alex to get a feel for the market.
On the mortgage side of things their in-house expert Josh walked me through the entire process start to finish, found me the best deals and even helped when I needed last minute adjustments to the amount I needed to borrow.
It’s really nice to deal with folks who you don’t feel are trying to chase a quick deal (a rarity in this industry). These guys are genuine, honest, and on top of their game.

I have recently started working with the Chestertons Kew team and I must say that their approach to Estate Agency is refreshingly different. Daniel Killick, the branch Director applies a strategic approach to the way in which he markets each and every property. He is thorough and provides me with a clear brief before a visit all properties and this enables me to photograph exactly what is required in a timely manner. We have an excellent working relationship simply because our communication is clear, concise and consistent. I know, from speaking to Daniel Killick’s clients that his communication is also exemplary with his clients also which doesn’t surprise me. He is a consummate professional and is a pleasure to work with hence the reason for me writing a rather lengthy testimonial which I must admit is rather unusual for me.

I was introduced to the team here because they had sold all of the last 4 houses that had sold in the street even though they are not perceived to be local team being down in Kew instead of Brentford, where my house was. I had been on the market for a while with a more local agent but things didn't seem to be progressing so I looked to move after neighbour marketed their house through this team and sold all while my own sale remained in the doldrums.
All of the people that I met were very friendly and professional and I was kept informed of the progress of all viewings and potential buyers. They made my sale flow easily for me and it wasn't long before I had an offer that I was happy to accept.
I cannot recommend the Kew team of Chestertons highly enough.
