Extremely disappointed with how Chestertons handled our tenancy offer.<br><br>After our offer had been agreed by both Chestertons and the landlord, we paid the holding deposit and began the background checks. While those checks were still in progress, we were suddenly told that the landlord had decided to proceed with a different offer submitted through another agency.<br><br>We found the process poorly managed, lacking transparency, and highly unprofessional, particularly given the stage we had reached.

Had a very positive experience searching for an apartment through Chestertons. Whilst we ended up putting an offer in for a place through a different estate agent, the communication, empathy and helpful attitude we experienced while working with George was unmatched.

The agents are dealing with a slow market for small flats in E14 so we are being patient. However, we wish they would answer emails consistently and be rather more proactive with marketing.
