We got in touch with the estate agent’s property managers today to request access to a property in order to inspect various plumbing works on behalf of a landlord.

The Chestertons experience was good. Valuation of the house was sound - we achieved an offer within the first week on the market and the sale was completed at the beginning of January. There were moments when I felt under pressure by the purchaser and could have done with firmer support from the agent.

I engaged with Chestertons in respect of a new residential property purchase in Putney. From the outset, the service from John Ralph was first class - he was professional, courteous, and gave me great confidence in the process. We had some challenges along the way in the process, including a tricky team on the Vendor's side... but John used his experience and pragmatism to find solutions at every hurdle. I definitely felt comfortable that he would help me navigate through the process, and I was delighted to complete on my property last week (Jan 2025.) Excellent service, and I would certainly recommend John and Chestertons for any of my future residential property needs..! :-)

We've been looking for a property in SW6, and Harry Shaw has been the perfect agent to work with! Chestertons did a good job marketing the property. Their agents were very professional and did a great job with conducting the viewings. Initial valuation expectation was higher than what the market was willing to pay for. Chestertons did a good job at managing offers and defending the price. Sale process was also well managed.

This agency does not pay me part of the deposit, 1,700 pounds, despite the fact that lenlord has no claims against me after the check-out. I am contacting lawyers about their dishonest behavior. Beware, they can steal your money!
