Lazy staff and liars!! I had a visitation cancelled by a en employee called Ben who then said he would contact to rearrange a viewing for me. If anything it appeared like I was doing his job as I was the one messaging him with his reply being “I will schedule a visit for you soon” . After a week I called the agency and I lady spoke to me saying I will book a viewing for you the same day and I would receive an email confirmation which was a surprise as I thought Ben would have done this for me. 1 hour before the viewing I called again to confirm as no email was sent to me and I spoke to a lady called Hoyrie who told me I didn’t speak to anyone earlier that day which is a complete lie and told me I had no bookings. And then to my utter surprise I was told that the property had an offer accepted the day before. Shocking

Tamer, Nancie & Doug were all magnificent - it's our second time using the Conran team, this time for sale of our property, and they were great! Very responsive, clued-up and flexible.
We've dealt with several other estate agents in Greenwich while house-hunting, including especially bad ones who answer even very simple important questions with a gormless 'Yeah, I don't know...'. Conran are the absolute opposite of that. If you want your sale or purchase to go smoothly, use Conran!

Lived in a house for 12 months, hot water broke multiple times, mould on the walls, contractor after contractor came out to no fix. Conran then denied there was any issue. Had no heating for the last 5 months of tenancy and when we pushed to get this fixed, we were evicted. Shocking customer service and criminality here. Avoid at all costs

Absolutely terrible service by Wayne West
Agreed to pay a holding deposit and shortly after I sent the money out, Wayne sent me a message saying that the landlord has changed his mind and considering another offer while still retaining my money. I tried to call him through my registered mobile number but Wayne did not pick up the phone followed by a text message "Just out on a viewing at the moment I'll call back when I'm in the office". Did not believe him and rang the office through another number but guess who? the same Mr. Wayne.
The way he dealt with me and tried to retain the funds unfairly was literally fraudulent awful experience.
I popped into the Charlton Office to speak to someone. luckliy a lady sorted the problem getting in touch with the guy. They finally refunded me.

Conran were good at knowing whom was next due to provide information and making timely enquiries to keep the process flowing.
Throughout, Conran were balanced to the buyer and seller who were both eager, despite other stakeholders being less responsive.
Was estimated to take 4 months but ended taking 6 months but was due more to the time taken to receive information from other parties.
Took extra effort to send their own contractor round to confirm our suspicion that a window left open during high winds did not affect structural integrity of the housing.

Conran allowed for individual property viewings (while similar properties often used open house days). The offer process followed reasonable, bilateral negotiations (compared to best & final offer biddings at other agencies). During the purchase, They managed to stay on top of things by aligning directly with the solicitors and keeping us updated on the progress at all times. I put an offer on a property that I loved but it wasn’t accepted because my flat wasn’t under offer, nor was it on the market, so time was of the essence – I didn’t want to lose the property.
I contacted Conran on 18th Jan, Rob (Lee Office Manager) came to my property and valued it on 21st Jan, the negotiators came round on 24th to get a feel of the flat, photos were taken on 25th and my property with photos and video went “live” on 26th Jan. I had 12 viewings over that weekend, and I accepted an offer on 1st Feb – Conran sold my property within two weeks at a great price!!!!

We put our house on the market through Conran Estates as we had heard good things and having had 4 other agents in. Well wow we were amazed at the results!!! Very professional, amazing service and the marketing was off the chart. The whole process was done with no fuss and all of the staff are lovely. We listed on a Friday morning and had 17 viewings that weekend. The personal way we and our house was presented as a real home and real people without the usual estate agent BS really resonated with buyers. We had people walking in and saying “we have already bought your house in our heads and just want to see if it is really as good as presented”. We had over 10 decent offers and had the choice of buyers who were all hugely above asking price.
Seriously I can’t praise the team enough and any prospective seller don’t waste your time just go to Conran! Just by way of comparison I had the difficult task of selling my late Mother’s house in Amersham Bucks - we went with a local agent and boy do I regret it! We had all the usual cliches and pompous statements in the marketing materials, no video “we don’t do that” and hence we struggled with the quality of buyers presented. A a Conran will tell you and trust me they are right - it’s all in the marketing!

We initially had a very bad expeience with another local agent and ended up changing to Conran Greenwich. The presentation of their properties is really special and I think thats what drew in so many more viewings than we had seen with our first agent.
That being said, Tamar and his team worked tirelessly to sell our property and we were so happy with their professional, down to earth and friendly attitude from start to finish. Hannah was a joy to work with and although it wasn't smooth sailing due to the pandemic, her invested attitude towards our case really made a difference.
I really can't recommend Conran enough and thank them wholeheartedly for making a stressful process in a very stressful year as straightforward as possible

Friendly and helpful estate agents. I had Tamer over for a valuation and he was really friendly and gave a lot of advice on different aspects of selling.
It was great to have such a knowledgeable person of the local area.
I was a bit nervous on the covid situation but I received a email on the procedures the night before, and Tamer fully complied with them inside the flat, so was very happy with how Conran adapted to the situation.
The overall sale was very smooth. Doug was a great go between and made sure I was kept in the loop, yet took on all the follow ups between the lawyers and buyer to keep things moving forward.

During the offer process, Hayden was clear and transparent at all times, and never pushed us make quick decisions or increase our offer so we were able to move at our own pace. If you are a new landlord then Conran are helpful at finding you a tenant and making the initial process easy. Unfortunately their fully managed service needs some serious improvement given the high percentage they take from your rental income. The full management service essentially involves Conran relaying messages between you and the tenant. They do not sort any issues and often make matter worse by pitting the landlord and the tenant against each other. If you are looking to rent out a fairly new property I would recommend simply giving the tenant your phone number or email address and work with them directly. You will save yourself thousands of pounds per year in the process.

I had a horrific experience with Conran as my lettings agent in Greenwich. We were left with a lot of mould on our wall for months, we reported it as soon as it appeared but Conran never did anything to fix it. When I told them about it their advice was to spray anti-mould on it (obviously an assumption this was something we would pay for), and asking if we'd knocked on our neighbours in the flat upstairs to ask if they have a leak (definitely not our job), neither of which address the actual problem.
We were left without water for a couple of days as when the pressure was on it spewed water over the floor. When I asked for a rebate on our rent for the days we had to find alternative accommodation due to no water, conran claimed we had never been left without water, essentially calling me a liar, and threatened that if we continue with this claim our landlord will not want to renew our tennancy another year. Of course we left after a year because conran was so impossible to deal with and so unresponsive. They showed no care towards their tenants whatsoever. I could say a lot more, but I hope tells people all they need to know to never buy or rent a property via conran. They are incredibly rude and caused me a lot of stress and upset.

Update: The service provided by the property management and maintenance side does not match the quality of service on the lettings side. While it's not horrendous and I am sure quite on par with the average London lettings/property management agency, it leaves a lot to be desired--poor communication including slow responses (that you have to prompt) and lack of thought into the move-in and maintenance experience is for tenants. There are also systems in place that aren't really used to their potential.
I give Conran an overall score of 3 now, having moved in and requested help with flat issues. So--average. Not in a place where I don't think something will be sorted out, it's just not going to be sorted with ease.
To be clear, this is not reflective of the lettings team or Evie, as that would be a 5.

My partner and I worked with Evie Stevens to find a flat and we were very pleased! Evie was friendly, informative and quick to respond. We found a flat pretty quickly (I think within a week?) of starting our search. When it came to making an offer, it was straight forward and we were kept informed every step of the way, even though it was just an update to let us know things were still in discussion. I absolutely hate having to follow up on things and I was surprised to find that it was I that was being followed up on, haha - this almost never happens! Overall, I'm very impressed with Evie and would recommend her specifically in your flat search.

We purchased a property through Conran's Charlton branch and were delighted with the experience. Our main contact was Abbie Kendall, but we also had interactions - all of which were great - with Michael and Rob. We felt really supported throughout our buying experience. When the first property we were interested in didn't pan out (also listed through Conran), Abbie gave us the heads up about another one that would shortly be coming onto the market which she thought we might be interested in and was very much worth a look. We were feeling a bit disheartened after things didn't progress with the initial property we liked but Abbie really encouraged us to take a look at the other one so we booked in a viewing and made an offer shortly after. Throughout the buying process Abbie was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. When exchange day finally came around, she actually ended up giving us more insight into what was going on across the chain than the agent who was selling our property (but who, funnily enough, was sure to be in touch when the time came to let us know what we owed for the sale of our flat!). I really felt like Conran had our interests, as well as their own clients' interests, at heart throughout the process. Having now moved into the house and met the neighbours I've also only heard good things about this branch. They really seem to know the area and - by the looks of the For Sale boards in the vicinity - seem very established here. Hopefully we won't be looking to move any time soon but if we are in need of an agent in the future we will definitely be looking to Abbie and Conran Estates (and avoiding KFH like the plague!). I have moved out from a house (that Conran Estates is managing) 6 months ago and I am still waiting for my deposit back.
First of all, they kept me in a rolling contract against my will because the landlord had to get a new license, something that is not my fault and disabled me from having guarantors for the next property I wanted to rent. After sending many emails that never got a reply, asking for what is my right to have back (my deposit) I went to the agency to speak to Georgina Hobbs, who always welcomes me in a hostile manner asking what am I doing there, after asking where was my deposit she replied that that was the leading tenant’s problem to solve, when in first instance I transferred the funds to the agency therefore they should be the ones to return it back to me. After many months trying to solve the issue a new tenant has moved in the house and has paid for the deposit, so currently the agency has two deposits from different people but Georgina states that the agency doesn’t do personal transfers anymore in that way my funds are still not in my account.

I was a renter looking for a new flat to move into. I sent them my contact details on rightmove in the evening after office hours and the agency called back the next morning to arrange a viewing the same day.
Punctual.
The viewing was smooth with Hayden offering information of the council tax band and why work was done to the flat. I really appreciate he covered the key points a prospective renter would need to know without being asked. Most of all, there was no pressuring to snap up the property or unsolicited opinion to that effect, so I feel relaxed enough to imagine living in the flat.
Unfortunately I chose a different flat but rest assured this positive experience will encourage me to get in contact with your agency in the future when the opportunity arises. Keep up the professional service and you and your landlords will get great tenants in return. Your follow up to ask for feedback shows your company cares about the service.
One point for improvement I would suggest to all agents not just Conran Estates, do figure out a system to find the right key for the property first time as time is a precious resource for agents.

Extremely good service from both the manager and the lettings management staff here. I recently moved my rental properties to Conran's after experiencing poor service from one of their competitors. All the staff are friendly, efficient and knowledgable, and Georgina in lettings management is especially helpful. It's nice to deal with the same people all the time, Conran's don't seem to have the high staff turnover I experienced with my previous management company, and I think that reflects well on the manager (Tamer). I'm not exaggerating when I say I dealt with 15-20 different people at my previous agency. At Conrans I speak to the same 2 or 3 people all the time, the phones are answered by real people, not answering machines and they take immediate ownership of any problem or query and sort it out, usually on the spot. I can't recommend them highly enough.

This is the first time we have used an outside agency like Conranestates to find a suitable tenant for our flat in London and also manage the property during the tenancy. Understandably we were initially wary, but after a couple of meetings with Mr.Tamer Alcici we realized our worries/fears were unfounded. Tamer and his staff were friendly and helpful and prompt in responding to our queries and requests for meetings. They were professional and kept us updated on viewing and feedback from clients throughout the process. We really enjoyed our dealing with them and felt our property would be safe in their hands.
Their low fees, compared to some of the other agencies, is an added bonus.
We would definitely use Conranestates again in the future and also would not hesitate to recommend their services to other prospective landlords.

Had a good experience with Conran Estates in Greenwich. I wasn't sure what to expect, but there were no issues, with the referencing and paperwork sorted out quickly. The staff were professional and friendly, with Tamer and Debbie being particularly helpful. They were both quick to get back to me whenever I'd emailed with a question, which I appreciated. The team at Greenwich Conran Estates was very efficient and helpful when we were selling our home on a tight deadline to buy a bigger property from a developer. The property went on the market the end of September and we were in our new home by Christmas. We appreciated the local knowledge and personable approach of the team, most notably Hayden's punctuality, calm manner and professionalism when dealing with initial viewings, and then later on his and Nikki's commitment to support the process by updating the buyer at each juncture so that he could assist in pushing things forward. Their assistance in helping to contact the buyer and the buyer's solicitor's when we were awaiting paperwork from them made a big difference to the timescale. Professional dedication is evident in Nikki even kindly assisting to chase some paperwork on what should have been her first day of holiday. Little things also make a big difference at a stressful time- such as Kyra loaning me an umbrella when I came to the office to view Tamar's excellent pictures of our property! Overall we would definitely recommend the service of this team for anyone looking to selling their property in this area.

Could not be happier, me and my fiancée are due to get married in August and the hassle that we thought would be coming our way when trying to sell our House before the wedding never happened. I moved overseas at the end of 2012 and Conran Estates in Greenwich have been managing the rental of my property since then.
To date there have been no issues and they are always quick to respond to any queries I have and to keep me informed of any problems - which I appreciate as an overseas landlord. I trust and have peace of mind that my property is in good hands with the team there.

We have been very impressed with Conran's having bought a property through them, letted it out with them when we moved overseas and finally sold it through them (from overseas).
We initially had an offer within a week of being on the market but the sale was difficult due to circumstances beyond Conran's control and ultimately fell through about a week before completion. Conran's were understanding and helpful, immediately re-marketed it with a viewing-party and secured a higher offer than we had previously accepted. This was complicated by the need to get some building work done but Conran's helped us with this too, making something that could having been very diffucult to arrange from 10,000 km away a (relatively) stress free affair.
In summary, we have been impressed with all aspects of Conran's in our dealings with them over the last 6 or so years and highly reccommend them.

I've got in touch with this estate agent based in Greenwich a few times in the last 4 years. Whether it was for buying or letting they've always been So unkind and rude to me!!
I called a couple of days ago again to inquire about a property for rent and the woman on the phone not only was rude and unfriendly from the beginning but she also patronized me. She refused to arrange a viewing of the property without giving me an explanation although she said that the property was available.
When I asked if there was any problem (because I couldn't understand why she was behaving like that) she laugh and gave me a rude answer. Whenever I've contacted them they've always been so rude and stuck up! So I've decided to write this review and let everyone know what they can expect with this estate agent. Also, if you are letting them market your property, be aware of the reason why it might be taking so long to rent or be purchased! they basically push people away.
