I feel compelled to share my extremely negative experience with Leanne Fuller-OGrady at Cubitt & West Southwater Estate Agent. From the outset, I found Leanne to be exceptionally pushy, and I believe I was also given misleading information during our interactions. This lack of transparency and the high-pressure tactics employed left me feeling very uncomfortable and ultimately let down.
My experience with this branch has been deeply unsatisfactory, and based on this, I would strongly advise anyone considering selling their house to seek alternative representation. My trust in this firm has been completely eroded, and I would caution others against using their services.

Well, what can I say…the team at Cubitt and West Southwater are simply amazing! We’d been through such a tough journey selling our house, on with another estate agent for 3 months and not one offer. After being on with Cubitt and West for 6 days we were under offer, unfortunately we lost our buyer at no fault of the team, another two weeks after being back on the market and we’re under offer again!
We accepted that offer two weeks ago, and now Cubitt and West have secured us our forever home. We are so impressed with how quickly and tirelessly they have worked to help us on this journey. I couldn’t recommend the team highly enough, thank you Leanne, Julie, Carolyn and Dionne!

My husband and I recently had a house viewing accompanied by Anne. She had incredible knowledge of the area, gave us lots of tips and handed us little local newsletters and booklets which contained a great amount of contacts/groups/clubs for everything in the area. Anne herself was well presented, had such enthusiasm and was just all round great.
We've also been communicating so well with Julie in the office, who has also been great with local recommendations and information. So far, we're very impressed with Cubitt and West Southwater :)

The staff have no respect for your property - "Don't worry about taking off your shoes" - Do the bare minimum to get by and then when you get a buyer the progression are all part time with an abundance of annual leave! An absolute nightmare for continuity!
I can't believe the audacity, and if you need to express that you're unhappy they leave you waiting forever for replies and just don't care!
Please use someone else, save yourself the pain.. Choosing the right agent is as important as choosing the right solicitor, it would be a mistake to choose Cubitt & West.

Saddens me to write this.
But Cubitt and West (eventually) sold my home and (eventually) managed my chain to completion.
They have a great local position in Lintott Square - and the team are nice people too.
However, the marketing is poor. Rightmove listing, for the standard package, only has pics and floorplan.
Floorplan lacks dimensions and is therefore poor.
Photos are rubbish too - many times I had to chase up to have the order changed and duplicates removed.
No video etc without extra cost. Or virtual tour.
The biggest issue is basic customer service and chain management - which, let's face it, is when the rubber hits the road!
It took us months to complete. 10, to be specific.
Chain collapsed a week before exchange, thanks to poor and reactive communication.
Then struggled to get there two more times. We eventually did, but I took over most communication up and down the chain. It was painful.
And then we paid £thousands for the privilege.
Use HomedIn or At Home. Much better quality and value.

We would like to thank John and his Team, especially Julie and Leanne who have gone out of their way to help us secure our move to Hampshire.
