We recently sold our property and brought our ongoing property with Davies and Davies and the experience could not have been more different from our previous experiences with another local agency. The communication with regards to the chain was always very clear and regular, when we experienced stress (cause by other solicitors not our own) Toby in particular went over and above to help resolve the situation and minimise any delay to our completion date. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Toby and his team to friends and family and I personally would never use any other agency. However since they helped us find our forever home I can’t see us needing to. Thank you to all the team!!

Everyone was friendly and responsive, whilst also being very accommodating allowing us to view the property on multiple occasions in order for us to be able to get dimensions and get answers to queries etc. Laura in particular was also doing the job of our EA a lot of the time by chasing our chain and keeping our solicitor up to date to make sure that things kept chugging along.

Purchased a new build back in July of 2021. After several missed deadlines and false dates I was able to move in in April 2022. The property is still a building site and is incomplete. Since moving in we have had several issues with the quality of the building that has been finished. Several leaks in the roof, parts of the car park falling away and missing items such as glass for the balcony.
Davies and Davies have done next to nothing to resolve any of these issues and have since wiped their hands clean and asked us to not contact them with any issues.
They do not care about their clients, especially for first time buyers. I would strongly recommend that you look elsewhere when looking for an estate agent.

Right from the 1st phone call of my initial enquiry for the property, they have been brilliant to deal with. Claire was professional, polite and is clearly passionate about what she does. She talked me through lots of details and aspects of the sales/purchase process which I admittedly didn't know much about and made the whole process simple, straight forward and stress free.
Also, the gentleman who works in the office (I think he name was Aaron, forgive me if i've got that wrong) was a huge help and towards the end of the sale kept in touch with regular updates and information to help me keep things running smoothly.

We used Davies and Davies Estate Agents - Westbury after 2 failed attempts by other agents to sell our house. My only regret was not going to them from the outset. I am sure If we had at the height of the market, we would have gotten more for our home.
They achieved 100% success for us - 1 viewing and sold!! The team are amazing especially Alex and Anthony. They were willing to have the tough conversation on price that in our experience we have found other agents not so much willing to do. Our house had been over priced, our expectations over managed and they came along to up the mess per say. We were not happy punters at this point but they were able to tell us the truth and get us to trust them as a result of their frank honesty and the genuine connection we had built with them.
Whenever we needed to speak to them they were there at the end of the phone. Sorry Anthony, I probably chewed your ear off too often.
We hope to not have to embark on this house selling/ buying journey again as it’s so stressful but if we do, you will be our first call.

What an awful experience as a tenant. Davies & Davies illegally entered our property without notification during our tenancy and billed us with charges after we had left the property. The lettings staff were problematic to deal with throughout and the whole experience in dealing with them was utterly awful. We were model tenants with a perfectly maintained property not one late payment and the service we received form them was utterly appalling. In fact they have been one of the worse companies we have dealt with in over a decade. If you have any option avoid using this firm.
