Instructed Dixons last year to sell my dad's house. Really hard to get hold of anyone, continually had to chase for updates, felt completely let down by them and their lack of customer service. Avoid!

Amazing service from start to finish!!! Tara and the team are a pleasure to deal with and rented out our property immediately! We arranged a time to meet at the rental and they arrived early they took the photos on the day and listed the property on the website and Rightmove within a few hours! Within hours we were receiving texts of block viewings and the property was let within a few days and the tenants moved in within a week due to their speed on checks and service! Would not rent our property through another agent! Thank you so much!

As we all know moving is such a stressful time but Dixon’s made ours so much easier. I dealt personally with Ella throughout my whole experience at Dixons and she was amazing. She was professional and very informative. Any questions I had Ella answered promptly which made the whole process run smoothly. I also spoke with Georgia a few times where I again received amazing service. Would definitely recommend.

Overall I was very happy with the service in finding new tenants for my property. There were times when I had to keep asking about progress, rather than it being given to me as it happened, and some errors such as not checking the current energy suppliers and therefore giving the tenants the wrong information, but the staff were courteous and friendly at all times and the charges are very reasonable.

DO NOT USE Dixons. Avoid them at all costs. We moved and they did not even know we had done so. The agents themselves were friendly, but communication was very limited. As soon as the first COVID lockdown struck, it became non-existent, despite the manger telling us that staff would be working from home. We completed our sale without any involvement from Dixons. Our buyer contacted them to enquire how to get our keys, but they received no response. Despite a complaint to the Property Ombudsman being upheld and it awarding us compensation, Dixons charged us a full fee and have not even apologised. Dixons will tell you not to use online agents because they do not give the personal service. That may be true, but when Dixon's couldn't even manage to look at e-mails upon exchange, they obviously don't either. Save yourselves several thousands of pounds and use Purple Bricks or another online estate agent.

Very disappointed with service. Poor descriotion of house, bad choice of pictures. Took a week to go live instead of 48hours. They did not return phone calls/emails despite promising to. Had to remove my property from Dixons. Will never use again.

Unfortunately not had the best experience with Dixons. It got off to a bad start when we were made promises by a new and inexperienced member of staff, promises which could not be delivered on and I had to put a lot of pressure on dixons to get this sorted which reflected badly on me as a new tenant. This was fortunately sorted in the end. I have found some staff efficient and polite (Jessica has been great) but other staff not so much. Some of the staff have been rude and very blunt if you put their nose out of joint and sometimes just won't bother responding. I think dixons want silent tenants who never dare to voice a concern. Thankfully their maintenance process is very efficient and has always been chased or completed very quickly. Would be 4 starts if it weren't for the rudeness of some staff members. I have now left the property and will likely avoid renting through this branch again in future.

My experience with this estate was dissapointing.
I booked the viewing and our trip was taking two hours with two little babies. Whole morning to get ready and lucky when we were on the motorway I decided to confirm the viewing and guess what... Received reply that is was canceled.
Not good enough guys, I was so up sad. It is difficult process enough.
Giving 3 starts cause am not mean persone but was not great experience

The Top Lettings Agent in Lichfield! I have used most of the other agents in the city previously and always have found that something has been disappointing. With Dixons, it has been a seamless, enjoyable process. From the start, it was effortless; Harry met me at the property and put me at ease with his charming, relaxed yet knowledgeable manner and I felt safe in his hands. The lovely and friendly team in the office, Rosie and Jess, kept me updated on the progress of the viewings and also gave me sage advice when needed. Following just 5 viewings, they found me 2 suitable sets of tenants and one moved in today; the house was only empty for 3/4 weeks which was a huge relief! All of the lettings team are friendly, approachable and nothing is too much trouble. I will definitely be sticking with Dixons for any future lettings needs.

We use Dixons for letting out our property in Lichfield. The lettings team are always extremely helpful and go above and beyond to make sure that everything goes smoothly when finding a new tenant for us. We are hugely appreciative, particularly as we don't live locally ourselves.
We had a phone call from Harry to tell us that our current tenants had given notice and he just needed the ok from us to market the property again. We received regular calls with an update on viewings, and our new tenants moved in today, just over a week after our previous tenants moved out! Perfect! I would absolutely recommend Dixons to landlords.

I have recently arranged my first mortgage with James Crocker and I can not recommend him highly enough.
As a first time buyer I was feeling daunted about the whole process, I didn’t know where to look for the best mortgage deals or how many years to take my mortgage over but James made it easy. He talked through everything in simple terms, offered invaluable advice and kept in regular contact throughout.
He was always at the end of the phone to answer any queries and helped me to complete any legal paperwork.

James Crocker helped me through the process of sorting my first mortgage towards the end of 2017. He explained how the process works, understood my requirements and gave me various options to choose from. One of the most important things for me, apart from getting a good deal, was how he was always on the ball when it came to staying in contact/getting things done on time – I’d definitely recommend having a chat with him.

Where do I begin, We've, just moved out of a property and checkout done all ok, landlord happy and even rang us to thank us for the improvements we made and he verbally instructed agent for refund of deposit. 15 Days after checkout and NO deposit released.
Spend most of the day today on the phone to agent and the landlord, and it seems said agent has been telling to very strong lies to the landlord (a man of the cloth who I believe profoundly), even telling him 6/7 months ago they did a home visit including a report and photos (they didn't until after we handed in our notice on 16months, which is bad enough for a 'managed' tenancy and if they did they did so illegally without tenant notice and permission).
Eventually we've resolved the communication issues between agent and landlord and ourselves today (not that Dixons did any of the leg work and I'm positive they wouldn't of contacted either of us without us pushing them). They have now stated that the deposit will be processed within 48hours and then our deposit returned in 3-4 working days after (totally 21 days after checkout).
Incompetence from day 1 to 3 weeks after checkout, As a tenant Dixons have been awful and as advice for landlords, I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole, find a agent who cares about it's tenants and landlords and one who actually manages the property your paying hefty fees for, no just sit take your money and does ZERO for the income.
Estate Agents don't have the best reputation worldwide but Dixons are on another level.

We have just finished renting a property of theirs in Lichfield for the last 3 years. They are only interested in your money. Very unhelpful when we called through for assistance. They just outsource absolutely everything! Nothing is their responsibility. We left the property in a better condition than we found it after their 'cleaning company' had gotten it ready for us. Still, we had money deducted from our deposit for cleaning! Not recommended at all

Where do I begin, when I used Dixons in 2014, they were wonderful, great service, returned calls and responded to emails bring back the old team!!!. Today its a different story, just moved out of a property and checkout done all ok, landlord happy, submit details to agent for refund of deposit, NO Response, chase for two days No Response, in the end I had to go into branch and speak with the person involved who turns out is a Manager (Jessica). I am then advised my money will be with me in working days, surprise surprise nothing in account, send email and Jessica on holiday, call agent and speak to Harry who advises me it hasn't even been processed! Told me to email Maria Sawyer (another Manager) who doesn't respond to my email so I have to call again, to be then told that it wont be processed for a few days as she is busy, I may see my money in another week!! Asked for details for complaints and told she cant get them to me till tomorrow. Shocking service, can take the money in seconds but will not make it easy to return it back, staff lie about what's been done and others just think that because they have the word 'Manager' in their title means they do not need to respond to emails. I wonder if anyone higher up actually cares!!!

If you want to be made to feel worthless, tell this letting agent that you have a disability and wait for "that" tone of voice and the area that they think you can "Only afford". 6 years in our present property not one problem in that time with payments and it is kept immaculate, we will be taking our business elsewhere. Appalling service at every level Dixons, don't even think of justifying your reasons.
