Thank goodness for Maya who took ownership of a problem I had regarding return of the deposit at the end of a tenancy and sorted things out for me. I will not use Fox & Sons to re-let my property; their admin processes are terrible. It was not just the failure to administer this deposit reimbursement but also at the start of the tenancy there were numerous admin errors; for example, wrong name spellings and wrong rental amounts on the STA and disregard of specific instructions I had given.

Rebecca Luke - the lettings manager at Fox and Sons at St Budeaux, Plymouth always delivers on every level. She is a real professional in her field of tenancy arrangements, has been finding tenants for my flat since August 2019 and her ability to match the tenant with the property and the landlord is impeccable. She is the most capable matchmaker when it comes to humans and properties. Rebecca is always available online, on the phone or face-to-face. She never leaves me alone if I have concerns but makes sure I get a reply ASAP. Rebecca knows how to solve any unpredictable issues but normally predicts everything beforehand to avoid the unexpected. She is very organised, very good at time management, tackles everything had-on and never leaves things unattended. She is very fair with landlords and always on the side of the tenants. Rebecca does everything to make sure Landlord and tenant are always equally satisfied. She thinks and plans before she acts and achieves the desired outcome. She takes time to get acquainted with the tenants and landlords to find the perfect contract for all the parties. Rebecca is never unsure - she always knows what is the next step to take, she has everything perfectly planned and executes it all perfectly in a team with a landlord and tenant.

Do not use this agent.
Bad photos, incorrect floor plan, inaccurate description of the property, missing out a bathroom, littered with spelling mistakes.
I raised issues with the ad before it went live and they uploaded it on a Friday without making amendments. It was then online and incorrect until the Tuesday.
It was amended for an incorrect floor plan to be added and spelling mistakes to remain.
Agent was unprofessional when I informed him I wanted to change agents and went on to remove my ad and ignore my request of informing me when it had been removed.
This was an agent asking for £2k in fees (once VAT is added). Wouldn’t pay £100 for them to sell a house for me.

They always answer my query in thorough detail. Ashleigh never avoids any circumstances and even awkward situations are easily resolved with a very acceptable and affordable solutions. Property letting can be a very rewarding, enjoyable and satisfying experience when Ashleigh is helping to navigate the system. Ashleigh looks at situations from the point of a person in front of her, she can totally step into the shoes of the landlord and the tenant and make that necessary human connection. She looks at the property as part of a big picture, she does not limit her observations to the property description - she sees details, situations and benefits of the property from many angels which bear great relevance for those occupying the place. Ashleigh is the type of a professional who does her job to perfection and goes beyond to engage with each and every person and provide the package to fit. Rebecca and team have been fab. I have been having issues finding a suitable place to live, due to having pets.
Other companies basically would lose interest once the realised i had pets and not get call backs.

Would not recommend these guys. They sold my mums home. Not great professionals when all you get when saying you will put it up with another agent and I quote “I am the top sales person in our branch” so why did we have lots of problems, why worry if we put it up with another agent too??? Please do not use the recommend solicitors between them they blame each other.

Very disappointing and frustrating experience with Fox & Sons St Budeaux branch. Lost the key to our property then tried to say we never handed a key to them for viewings. This was later rectified but only after several calls/visits to the branch. Another issue was appointments being made by head office for branch staff to visit but this never happened as apparently the communication between branch/Head office is not good. Overall service very disappointing

They are an absolute shambles, not once did they arrive on time for viewings and when they did finally arrive no apology was given. When asked run of the mill questions about a property no answers were given. I found them to be rude and arrogant. They have put me off ever wanting to buy through them again and i certainly would not ever sell with them.

Thank you all at fox and sons for your hard work. Especially Scott that have takene thought the process smoothly and was very responsive to questions I had. I have recomended him to all of my friends. I went from thinking I might start looking for a house in few months to meeting Scott, finding a home I love, getting mortgage confirmation in 3 weeks.
As a result I will pay 20% less a month than what I paid for rent for the past 10years.

Very unprofessional when comes to deal with customer. Bad time keeping. I have made an appointment with the agent to value my house on Friday at 10.30am. When time no one turn to see me. After call to the office I was told that they running late and will see me soon! I can't believe that it's me to remind them about it. Never to use them again. People must understand that time is something we don't have much this days and we must respect others.

Save yourself the expense and effort and leave me alone. I have not come across an agent who is a persistent as you are, in my eyes it reflects badly on your company.
