I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the condition of the property we recently moved into, managed by Foxton, particularly the Maida Vale branch. The experience has been truly disappointing and unacceptable.
Upon moving in, we discovered that the apartment was in a deplorable state of cleanliness and did not meet basic health and safety standards. Despite having high expectations and being assured by your representative, Jack Stanton-Gleaves, that all necessary work and cleaning would be completed, we found the property to be disgustingly unclean. It is common sense to ensure a house is properly cleaned for hygiene and out of respect for new tenants.
To make matters worse, Jack, who made these assurances, disappeared without a trace, and we later found out he had been fired. This lack of professionalism and the false promises made have left us feeling deceived and extremely frustrated.
Furthermore, the overall lack of communication from your agency is unacceptable. Despite multiple attempts to reach out and highlight these critical issues, my emails and messages have been consistently ignored, particularly by Paul Phelan and Karan Kumar. The absence of response is not only unprofessional but also shows a blatant disregard for customer concerns.
This level of service and care from a company of Foxton's reputation is appalling and has caused us significant distress and inconvenience. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL THE COST.

Estoy muy agradecida con Rooheen de Foxtons, Ealing. Me ha ayudado mucho durante mi búsqueda de vivienda en Londres. Ha sido muy atento y comunicativo, siempre dispuesto a atender mis llamadas y contestar todas mis dudas sobre el proceso. Quiero destacar que ha sido realmente comprensivo y que siempre mostró interés en nuestro bienestar. No nos presionó para firmar un contrato ni fue insistente en que eligiéramos una casa rápidamente.
Tuve una mala experiencia previa con otro agente, y sinceramente valoro que Rooheen no intentara presionarnos para tomar una decisión apresurada. En todo momento, nos recordó que lo importante era encontrar una propiedad ideal para nosotros.

I appointed Gordon & Co, but after several months the company was sold to Foxtons. The property was overvalued. I gave them 2 weeks to try it at the price they insisted was right. It didn't sell and they refused to reduce the price. It was weeks before they agreed to reduce it. It then took a year for the property to sell as they kept reducing it by small amounts. I wanted the listing to state that F&F were included if wanted and they refused to go along with that, saying I should sell them to the buyer.

My partner and I are currently looking for a property. We recently put an offer on a property with the help of Bianca. Unfortunately we did not manage to secure the property but I have to say it was a very positive experience thanks to Bianca. She was more than willing to offer her knowledge on the property and anything she didn't know, she took the time to find out for us. Bianca has an approachable, kind and helpful attitude and was very accommodating to our timings. I would also like to say that she has been very punctual and respectfully communicative without over doing it which has often not been my experience in the past with estate agents. She is a real asset to Foxtons and the best person we've dealt with so far in this endeavour to buy a property. Thank you for making what is quite a stressful process, a much more enjoyable experience.

Once gave our house keys to a man claiming to be the landlords brother without letting us know and without checking. Won’t give us notice or time slots when they’re coming over, really difficult to work with.

My experience with Foxtons over the years has been disappointing. While I've utilized their services for buying, selling, and letting properties, their reliability and organization have steadily declined. In recent years, dealing with them has become a headache due to their lack of organization and reliability.
I am eagerly awaiting the end of the current tenancy agreements for my properties, so I can avoid further frustrations with Foxtons.
