Richard Frost was very helpful with our move. Due to our sudden travel, we were unable to collect the keys on the scheduled date (Friday)and due to this we had to delay our movers arrangements scheduled over the weekend(Sunday). I was earlier told to have the keys collected only on Monday. However, Richard was very helpful in understanding our situation and offered to provide us the keys to our new place on a Sunday right after we landed thus making our move very flexible as scheduled. Excellent customer service from Richard!!

Very disappointed in the service I received. On 4 separate occasions I was promised someone would get back to me and no one did.
I booked a viewing for a property for a certain time, after not receiving confirmation after a few hours I called back and when the confirmation did come through it was for the wrong time!
Having moved things around in my diary I was able to make the new viewing appt time I was informed 1 hour prior to the viewing that the time had now been changed to the originally agreed time once again!
Fed up and frustrated I cancelled my viewing appointment, only to get a response back from the team an hour later saying that the team regretted to inform me that the let had already been agreed for this property!
For a premium estate agent the service I received was nothing short of dismal, I never normally write reviews so the fact I am taking the time to express my frustration in the form of this review speaks volumes!

Shocking service. Myself and my partner enquired about a flat, we received a response from Charlotte after nearly a week, and we tried to arrange a viewing, but she'd only respond with one worded emails. No professionalism or politeness whatsoever. She stopped responding completely, depriving us of an in-person viewing. This flat that we were very, very interested in has now gone. Despite myself and my partner and I enquiring weeks before anyone else.
I then emailed them directly, stating I'd like to speak to someone who showed the professionalism expected from an estate agent and, unsurprisingly, have received no response, this was a week ago.
Go somewhere else to look for property. Clearly, they don't care about customers or, shockingly, their commission.

We've had a good experience with Alex Smith, property manager with Leaders Roman Group (Gibbs Gillespie). Our boiler broke down in the latest cold snap, leaving our tenants without heating and hot water late on Thursday afternoon. Alex was very quick to contact us and make urgent arrangements to have the fault assessed, and then responded brilliantly to the challenge of getting the remedial work done before the weekend as we had urged. Avoid dealing with Jacob at all cost. He is unprofessional, arrogant, rude and condescending person. Doesn't want to understand prospective buyer for his clients which is very shameful. We have dealt with Gibbs Gillespie's other branches and they are fine. Its just this arrogant person who apparently is a branch manager. How can one be a branch manager being so rude and arrogant. I had just moved here from California as a grad student during the height of the lockdown, and needless to say it was all extremely stressful. I had bad luck with trying to find a place that ended up falling through and it all was extremely frustrating until I met Dev. Dev Mann had a property on rightmove come up, I immediately asked for a viewing. He was so communicative with me from the start which I appreciated so much after all the trouble I had gone through with the move and my previous place falling out. He took extra care to call me at the end of each day with an update just to ease my anxiety. He was so proactive and always got in touch with me if I reached out. He listened to me, went above and beyond to get me moved in fast. He really took personal care into setting me up and making sure I was okay, which was really important to me. Checked on me as I settled in to make sure everything was okay. I cannot recommend him or his colleague Shannon Roome enough, their whole comapny really. Although the whole sales process took longer than any of us had hoped for, it was safely achieved through just the one buyer. Gibbs Gillespie were certainly the more pro-active of the 2 local agents with whom the property had been placed and all the inspections were undertaken with the assistance of the agent. I was kept informed all the way through and the delays in the sale were solely down to the chain of buyers and the slow initial progress taken by our own solicitor: the latter was soon rectified however. In a fairly sluggish market, Gibbs Gillespie did their utmost to secure a sale for us. We were very grateful to them for their efforts.

Gibbs Gillespie staff were very focussed in administration of viewings and follow up, in monitoring the schedule up to exchange of contracts, in concert with conveyancing solicitors. They facilitated movement to exchange, even though my buyer's solicitor delayed progress by 3 weeks, because they undertook excessive workloads with limited staff - I was constantly told I was in the queue; even when the buyer suggested a date for exchange date, they overran by 3 days. It took patience of all involved, but eventually we all hit an agreed completion date. During the process they also kept tabs on my house while I was away on holiday and continued to arrange viewings. Well done Judith, James and Dominic.

Although pleasant, I didn't always feel up to date with all the information on the sale of our house. This may have been due to first one, then another of the people dealing with our sale, leaving.
