I bought a house that was listed with Gregory brown. What I really liked about them is as soon as we put in an offer and it was accepted the house was listed as “sold”. Lots of other estate agents keep properties listed as “for sale” until after the survey which leads to people being gazumped. I liked the morals of Gregory brown and they were pleasant and helpful along the way and i wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I am extremely disappointed,complete lack of care for their customers, with no call back when promised. Despite being told a specific property was not available, I had to contact them multiple times to find out about other options,these people are complete waste of time.
The team is useless with no motivation to help customers find suitable properties.
I strongly advise others to avoid this estate agent at all costs, as they do not prioritize the needs and concerns of their clients. It's unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour that should not be tolerated in the real estate industry.

My experience with GB Estate Agents was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. After making an offer on a property, there was a clear lack of communication and transparency from the estate agent, in particular William.
Despite repeated assurances that he would "come back to us" and that we could expect an answer shortly, it became evident that William was being dishonest. My cousin, who resides next door to the property, informed me that the sellers had accepted another offer two weeks prior.
It appears that William deliberately avoided our calls and instructed staff to claim he was unavailable, rather than providing an honest update on the situation. This level of evasiveness and lack of candour is unacceptable in any professional service industry.
As a real estate professional, William had an obligation to represent our interests as buyers faithfully and diligently. However, his actions, or lack thereof, suggest he likely failed to even present our offer to the sellers, depriving us of a fair opportunity. No buyer should be subjected to such disregard for their interests and deliberate deception.
Until this day we have not received any communication from William telling us that the property has been sold.

We bought house through Gregory Brown and we have mixed feeling about how the whole process went.
We Viewed 2-3 properties through Gregory brown and all the viewings went well, no concerns there.
The issue started in the process of purchase. There were no proper communication from Gregory Brown on the onward chain and every time we tried to communicate regarding the process with them, they were either not available or were rude to answer any queries.
On the day of Exchange we were in stress as the buyer for our property had issues with his mortgage, and adding to the stress was Tom from Gregory Brown who was calling us for updates. Where all the information was with the Solicitors and we were also relying on the Solicitors.
To sum it up, I believe they can do better job at communication as the whole process of buying and selling property is stressful.

As a small family we have a very bad experience with this agent whose practice amounts in my opinion to systematic unlawful discrimination against families. Over a period of almost three months we have contacted the agent repeatedly to inquire about properties and were rejected right away because of our children, although all the properties were 2 bedrooms and clearly suitable for a small family.

One of the worst Estate agent ever. They doesn't respond for any of the questions or take any action for any concerns we have in the house. We can't fix the repairs ourselves due to the contract and they doesnt respond for calls or emails for months together. Even when the owner will be ready to fix the issue, as an agent, they doesnt do much. If I can, I would give zero ratings for this estate agents. Dont get involved with them for rental or sales.

I have used Gregory Brown for selling and buying 4 houses over the past 15 years! I wouldn’t use anyone else. I used Gregory Brown 10 years ago, to sell and buy a property. Will helped me through it all, as I was on my own with 2 young children.
I contacted them again last year to sell my property, as I had gained a husband during that time, and we needed somewhere bigger. Will came out to see me again, and remembered me from all that time ago. So easy to deal with, Will is very calm and straight forward.
During the sale, I was recommended a solicitor (not through GB), who put me through months of hell. Tom became involved, and through his, mine and onwards estate agent’s determination and persistence, I finally moved after daily emails to solicitor from all of us.

Prior using Gregory Brown I used a on line company, ok challenging times, lack of people viewing my property + a number of other issues
I had to change to a proper estate agent, Gregory Brown, as soon as I changed the difference between the two, local buyers and people online taking the time and talking to the Gregory Brown, straight away people viewing the property who were interested in the property.
Ok we did come across several show stoppers and these where rectified within a call to the solicitors and the estate agents as a go between
If you asked me who I would go with again it would be Gregory Brown

Gregory Brown were a huge contrast to the rest of them - their most unique feature is that they always say things as they are.
No bull, no trying to squeeze pennies out of you, just transparency and truth.
I believe it's an important basis for trust.
The moment we realized that - we bought our first family home from them, and never regretted.
Several years later we were moving out and letting our property, and it was no brainer which Agents to use for this.
Just a few weeks later I've received my first Landlord cheque... wow!
They are real hard workers, you can reach them in insane hours (don't do that) via phone or email, and they respond immediately.
Tom and Will - you will always be to us an example of professionalism in it's pure form.

Tom, Will, Ollie and Jamie and the rest of the team at the branch are brilliant. They are very professional when they are conducting viewings and always very courteous and polite when they called me to arrange. They provide timely feedback (by lunchtime the next day) on the viewings and are very proactive.
