From our initial meeting with Mark via completing admin with Billy, arranging viewings with Sahil through to post offer progression with Alan our experience with Seymours has been exceptional.
Mark helped us set a realistic price and found a keen buyer.
Communication has been excellent - the phone is always answered promptly, Billy helped us complete all the admin, Sahil kept us updated on viewings and we had an update call at least once a week from Alan to keep us informed of the sale progress.
From the initial valuation meeting through to sale completion was three months, which for a leasehold property is very quick. All down to very professional teamwork from Mark, Billy, Sahil and Alan.
We have bought and sold quite a few properties via estate agents and Seymours stands head and shoulders above anyone else we have ever dealt with.
We highly recommend Seymours for an extremely professional and efficient service supported by a superb team.

In a nutshell:
We are just about to complete on our house move, with both the sale and purchase being managed by Seymours, and they have been just fantastic in all respects. We would recommend them in a heartbeat!
The long version:
We found the house we are buying first and were able to view it twice with both Mark C and Gary W being very generous with their time and very patient with our queries. Having decided to go for it we then asked Seymours to sell our house. They got it to market in no time - we instructed them on a Tuesday, two agents came to view the house on Wed, photos were taken on Thurs, it was on RightMove by Fri morning, we had 3 viewings on the Saturday and 2 offers by the Monday. We were seriously impressed and very grateful. Both Mark and Gary were then very helpful at negotiating with our purchasers and our sellers with regards to offers - the communication was excellent and I will never forget Mark's call telling us that our offer had been accepted :)
Throughout all of this Billy M gave excellent, professional and very efficient admin support which helped make the process stress-free and easy to follow.
Once the conveyancing process started with solicitors our contact for the sale progression was Alan H who has been equally excellent. Top notch communication, keeping us in the loop throughout with what was happening with everyone in the chain, and he helped keep me calm when there was a stressful last minute delay to exchange of contracts. It has been a pleasure working with him.
Everyone we have spoken to at Seymours has been friendly, professional, helpful and communicative - and they do what they say they are going to do, we have not had to chase or follow up at any point.

The support from Seymours has been invaluable to the Friends of the Hythe Community School PTA. The advertising boards for our Summer Fair helped increase attendance which, together with the donation of a cash prize for the summer raffle, contributed to a bumper summer of fundraising. The hi-vis vests donated by Seymours have improved the visibility of volunteers at all our events which has helped them run smoothly. All funds raised by our PTA go directly to support activities and resources for children at the school and we are very grateful for Seymours' support. We chose Seymours in Staines to sell our house as we felt that they would provide excellent support in both the initial sale of the house, and the processes through to completion. They were the only agent we found that had someone dedicated to progressing the sale. In a very difficult market our house sold within a month. This was partly due to the close attention paid by the Seymours Staines team to the viewer statistics to each of the major websites, and making adjustments both to the price and marketing of the house in reaction to that.
We did have a very long and tortuous process from the sale to completion due to issues in the chain. However, Seymours Staines managed this very closely in terms of follow up with the buyers of our house, their estate agent and solicitor. We had an update at least once a week of the status and next actions. Seymours Staines even provided pro-active help to get our buyer’s house sold in order that we could get to completion.
Whenever we contacted Seymours Staines there would be someone in the team who helped us get an answer, even when our main contacts were not available, which was very important to us when things were not going well.
Special thanks to Mark for his patience and advice during the whole process, and to Alan who was our key contact during the post-sale process, and did a fantastic job in his constant follow-up and communication.

The team at Seymours have been excellent throughout the selling process. I first enquired and compared them to two other local estate agents. They came out top for their professionalism and experience. This made it an easy choice when we were ready to sell six months later.
Simon and his team marketed the property really well, with fantastic photos and viewings with lots of solid buyers. After two weeks of viewings, useful feedback and vetting, we had a viable buyer who loves the home we've renovated. They helped us with negotiation and we secured a price above asking.
Since then, Alan has been a great help liaising between solicitors to get to exchange and completion, which was not easy as paperwork had to be signed abroad. We're about to move out and confident Seymours were the right agency. Faultless.

A massive thank you to Gary, Alan and Mark at Seymour’s. We initially met Gary who my Mum purchased a property through. He was very knowledgeable and proactive in securing the property. We were selling a property quite far out of the area so sadly, Seymour’s weren’t acting on our behalf and the property we sold became a real headache of continual misinformation of chain details from the agent we were selling through. Gary and Alan got to the bottom of it all. They kept us updated at all times, chased all parties involved whilst providing us the correct information and advice. Alan got to the bottom of any hurdle faced! No issue or misinformation from the below chain could stop them! We also spoke with Mark several times who helped and again, alongside Gary, provided us with such reassurance and options to make this move happen because they knew how much it mattered.

We have just sold our house and purchased our new home, both, with the support from Seymours, Staines.
This is a case of 'third time lucky', having placed our house for sale previously via two other agents.
This leads me to the finer detail of how Seymours came to market our property and successfully sell our home.
We had not been able to find a house that we loved more than our own home, having looked as far as Solihull for affordability and a sense of a leafy town. We did not want to move unless the lifestyle changes and opportunities seemed worthwhile. We love our house, after 18 years, we just needed a change.
It was Gary from Seymours that reached out to us with an opportunity to purchase a beautiful flat more locally. We had never considered purchasing a flat and certainly not a new build. From the moment we viewed the flat, our options opened up.
As Seymours were selling the flat it seemed sensible on a communications basis to sell through them too. We feel that this could have been complicated because they would need to balance working for both us the sellers of our home and of course, balancing the needs of the developer selling the property to us. We fortunately are blessed to have a brilliant man who is the developer so he helped manage the process.
Mark, Seymours was great upon our first meeting, pleasant to speak with and wasn't pushy. He was realistic and managed our expectations well around where to place ourselves on the marketplace with the knowledge of how house sales were going. We have found the whole team at Seymours to be professional.
Gary has been super patient and kept us updated well. We found Gary to be a professional, positive and reliable person with a gentle manner. He has guided us through a very difficult process and never lost patience along the way.

Saw an advert. Booked a viewing which nearly didnt happen due to slow communication.
Shook on the deal at the advertised rent to be told they would put my offer to the landlord!
I was then asked repeatedly patronising questions about my earnings despite telling them i could prove i could easily afford it.
A few days later during which i was homeless they told me that landlord had chosen to go with someone else!
Is it me or does this display utter arrogance and unprofessionalism in a sellers market

We instructed Seymours to sell our house in May 2022. We accepted the first offer at the end of May. The buyer pulled out after a month. Seymours didn't keep in contact with the buyer for a month. They had no clue for four weeks that the buyer was not interested to take any steps to buy the house.
We accepted the second offer at the end of June. Once again the buyer did not take any serious steps to take forward the offer. Seymours gave us an impression for eight weeks that buyers were very serious to buy the house. The buyer pulled out after 8 weeks. The buyers sent a message about this through their Solicitors. Seymours had no clue about the reason why the buyers pulled out.
Seymours wasted three precious summer months. When we informed them that we were withdrawing our instructions, they were still giving us hope that they could help us to sell our house.

Mark had been instrumental in getting our purchase completed in a timely manner. He never hesitated to go the extra mile to sort out communication issues between conveyancers so that the purchase would go through smoothly and towards a specific completion date, which was really tight. Kudos to his level of professionalism and the high level of transparency in his communication (which is essential in getting things moving)! We would highly recommend Seymours.

Mark at Seymours has provided exceptional service with the selling of my late mother’s house for my sister and I. He has a really good understanding of the local market especially when considering valuations.
At no point did Mark try to pressurise us into using Seymours services, but let the apparent ability of other estate agents make the choice easy
We never had any problems contacting Mark and the Seymours team when necessary and Mark was always punctual when attending meetings.
When an issue highlighted by the survey arose Mark’s guidance and experience were superb. He negotiated well on our behalf to ensure we achieved a fair sale price.

From viewing the the house where my wife has always want to live.
The manager the sell our house we where living in by calling all people they had on the books look for our type of house.
So they could go to the vendor of the house we wanted so we could secure the purchase for us. They kept informed throughout the whole process even work with the solicitors to made sure it all run smoothly.

Cannot recommend Mark and the team enough.
Very different experience of an Estate Agents to my past ones.
The service that Mark and his team provide is second to none, they really do care and will go above and beyond to help.
I have also experienced the same high level of service at the Woking branch with Ashleigh who is an absolute star (and Amy among others) so it’s company wide not just one branch.
They also see the transaction through to the end keeping you informed along the way.
I wouldn’t use anyone else now!

From the very first introduction from Mark at Seymour’s Staines I knew we had made the right decision. Mark sent his team of agents round to view our house to get familiar with our property prior to potential viewings. The team were very professional, friendly and enthusiastic about our home. We had several viewings before our property was even on the market and we were kept up to date with feedback from the viewers.
